"Tel Aviv Museum of Art (TAMA) The Tel Aviv Museum of Art, or TAMA, is home to an extraordinary collection of modern and contemporary art by Israeli and international artists—including some from the old masters and those ofthe 20th century—as well as prints, drawings, and photography. Foundedin 1932by Tel Aviv’s first mayor, Meir Dizengoff, in his private home, the museum has sincegrown to three buildings, including the Helena Rubinstein Pavilion for Contemporary Art, and numerous departments.
