'The Favourite' Filming Locations You Can Visit

"The real Anne spent a considerable amount of time at Hampton Court, so it’s appropriate that it provides two more key locations. One was the Fountain Court (pictured above), the column-lined 17th-century garden used for the scene where Anne watches a group of junior musicians practicing. The other is its Cartoon Gallery, home to works by Raphael and originally the meeting place for the Privy Council. In the film, it hosts other encounters, including that between Abigail and her future husband Masham. Until the beginning of March 2019, in a perfectly appropriate further melding of fact and fiction, it’s also home to a display of costumes used in The Favourite." - James Medd
