Club Cumming

Night club · East Village

@cntraveler

"Co-owned by Alan Cumming, this bar is an offshoot of the original Club Cumming, hosted in his dressing room at the revival of Cabaret, where he established a makeshift bar for the company and its friends after each performance. Now, with a fully realized space in the East Village and a postage stamp-sized stage for performers—everything from open mic nights to drag shows—it’s distinctly theatrical. The bartenders are as quirkily queer as the patrons, and Cumming himself volunteers for shifts." - Mark Ellwood
