"Longtime Mexican spot Across the Street and its adjacent neighborhood market located steps from the Freedom Park trail in the Old Fourth Ward have apparently closed, according to a report by What Now Atlanta. The restaurant, owned by Ali Wild and her partner Lana Banks, opened in 2007 on Highland Avenue and was known for its strong margaritas, quirky decor, and riffs on Mexican fare.
