"Reopened at 4511 McKinney Avenue in the Knox-Henderson space formerly occupied by Abacus for 19 years, this Uptown outpost of a long-running restaurant group relocated after shuttering in Plano’s Shops at Legacy at the end of last year. Local architect and design firm JonesBaker revamped the space, expanding the bar and lounge, refreshing interior and exterior finishes, updating lighting and furnishings, and adding a patio plus a private dining room that seats 46. Chef Chad Bowden brings signature items from the group’s Richardson and The Woodlands locations—most notably slow-smoked baby back ribs and the famed blue cheese potato chips—alongside new creations such as spicy melon salad, Prince Edward Island mussels, summer squash angel-hair pasta, coal-charred ribeye, and sushi. The restaurant opens for dinner Tuesday–Thursday 5–10 p.m., Friday–Saturday 5–11 p.m. with the lounge opening at 4 p.m., and is closed on Mondays." - Alaena Hostetter
