"The first thing that grabs your attention about this restaurant, located in a UNESCO-protected building preserving part of the old city wall, is its name, since it represents the dream that Bárbara (Portuguese) and Christian (a French-Spanish chef) had of opening their own restaurant ever since meeting at the prestigious École Lenôtre in Paris. It boasts an informal, bistro-style main dining room and a comfortable private room, where you can discover a contemporary Mediterranean-inspired cuisine with French fusion and international touches, based on the finest seasonal Portuguese ingredients. They offer a small menu featuring daily suggestions, an executive lunch menu, and a so-called “Chef’s Menu,” adopting a more haute-cuisine approach.
