"As the name implies, L’Hôtel Particulier is a freestanding house, a rare private mansion in a vibrant neighborhood in the historic center of Arles. As such, it’s set on a verdant courtyard, seemingly a world away from the streets just outside. The 19th-century house has been redecorated by its new owner, Brigitte Pagés de L’Oliveira, in a contemporary style that preserves all of its romance while preparing the way for boutique-savvy guests.
