"The Emory—the latest hotel from the hospitality group that also owns and operates famed London hotels Claridge’s and The Connaught—aims to be stylishly secretive. There’s no real lobby or common space: The reception desk is housed in a small modern glass cube that can only fit one party at a time. The hotel provides complimentary transfers via black car or helicopter to all its guests. Entrance via foot rarely happens, and there are no high-profile logos or showiness. The Emory is one of the most elegant and luxurious hotels, with all rooms being suites. Their smallest offering is around 600 square feet, and their largest—the Emory Penthouse—is over 3,000 square feet. The hotel's modular layout allows multiple suites to be privately interconnected, creating self-contained ‘residencies’. The Emory also houses the Surrenne, a four floor private wellness club complete with a spa, a pool, a gym, a café, and the first ever European outpost of the famed American fitness class." - Elise Taylor
