All praises for the park. It is thoughtfully designed, with various attractions for all ages. You can walk for several hours, feed the seagulls, take photos at various beautiful spots, have a drink, snack, rest, and then continue. There is the option to rent a kayak, as well as little cars for those who don't like walking or get tired quickly. All praises and highly recommended to visit. There is also a marina for a boat that goes around the lake for 100 yuan per person. Today is Sunday, the weather was sunny and warm, so it was crowded. The restrooms were crowded, and there was no toilet paper or soap.

Green Lake is beautiful even at night. The lights reflecting on the water create a calm, gentle atmosphere, and the whole place feels very serene and peaceful. It’s a lovely spot to slow down, take a quiet walk, and simply enjoy the moment. Definitely worth visiting.

A park that feels alive — not with rollercoasters, but with retirees, lovers, and ducks who clearly run the place. Everywhere you look, someone’s stretching, strolling, or feeding the local feathered mafia. Food stalls tempt you from every corner, game stalls try to rob you politely, and the ducks waddle around judging everyone’s life choices. It’s noisy, charming, and somehow relaxing. 5/5. For the ducks. Always for the ducks.

Very Nice spot on Ile in the Green lake. surrounded by very nice ponds. The park had been established in the early 1900 alongside the Military Academy.

Seagulls from Siberia. Cute. Much less menacing than the yellow beaked gulls. They stay within the boundaries of the lake so your chances are getting pooped on are rare. I did see a woman get pooped on though. Beware!

An incredible park. It's amazing to see such a thriving ecosystem in the middle of a modern city like Kunming. The amount of flowers and trees blooming in spring is incredible. There is over 100 species of birds living in this park, including some exotic ones. I didn't see many types but I suspect in the morning it would be easier. One of my favourite places in Kunming, really enjoyed it.

Free admission, one of the famous spot for tourists. Good place to stroll around.
