SUCH a wonderful place. The sisters are so kind and helpful and it is so nice having breakfast and dinner with fellow pilgrims. Ideally situated in the old city with incredible roof top views over the old city. Underground lithostratos also worth seeing. Rooms comfortable. Food simple but very good. Hope to come back again one day!

"A piece of heaven and a haven of peace in the bustling Old City of Jerusalem" Staying at Ecce Homo pilgrim's house was an amazing experience at all points. The accommodation offers more than one expects : clean, comfortable and renovated rooms, delicious breakfast and meals served in most welcoming dining rooms. And of course, breathtaking views of the city from the beautiful terrasses! But more than that, at the heart of Ecce Homo are its people! The warm welcoming and genuine every day attention of the sisters make one's stay an unforgettable human experience! Their example of love and gentleness is the most precious gift one can take home after staying at Ecce Homo. I definitely recommend it to everyone, and look forward to my next stay!

Another place, full of history with a section in the lower floors showing the actual pavement back then. And also an explanation of the game the soldiers played to wager on Jesus clothes.

Beneath the Basilica of Ecce Homo is an extensive area of Roman flagstones, where archeologists found something very interesting: an etching of a game by Roman soldiers, discovered in 1864, involving the execution of a "mock king". Due to this (in part), the flagstones were thought by nuns to be those of Gabbatha, where the Bible describes as the location where Pilat judged Jesus's' trial

Beautiful, clean, and friendly place! I stayed in the dorm area, but there was still privacy with my single bed. The roof views are amazing! I loved going up there with my coffee or tea to journal and listen to the city and call to prayer.

We were here June 2022 as a family of three in a triple room and we highly recommend staying here. The location was perfect, the food was good, and the views are some of the best in the city. The dawn prayer from the nearby minaret can be a concern for some people, but it wasn’t a problem for us. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent place to stay. Simple but good and big rooms. Aircondition. No TV etc. but not needed when you visit Jerusalem. Kind and friendly people. Good breakfast. You can also reserve dinner. Excellent position (old city). You can do all by foot.
