Nice atmosphere and the drinks are special. You can enjoy the cocktails with your friends because the environment is very special, but a little bit hot. The dishes are good, delicious, but the portion is not enough for a standard man. Highly recommend the special cocktails 🍸, and the music also improve your dining experience.

Quite surprised with the food quality, given it is a cocktail bar! Cheese sandwich and pistachio s’more are MUST-TRY. For Cocktails, I would recommend their signature one - Earl Grey Marteani.

Its not easy to find the entrance, and the wait time at the door, I don’t think I want to try the second time. Cocktails are ok but the limited choices of cocktails and the bottles behind the bar made us decided to go to other bar for next drinks.

Last night’s visit at 001 was quite disappointing. You have to wait until your whole group arrives before being allowed in, which is fine — but what really ruined the experience was the service and drinks. It took around 30 minutes just for the drinks to arrive, and when they finally did, they tasted like 90% syrup with almost no alcohol at all. Honestly, the syrup flavor was even stronger than a Starbucks Frappuccino. The food is still nice, but the drinks and service were a huge letdown.

As a speakeasy, 001 is hard to find, adding to its mystique. I tried their famous Earl Grey Martini, which was really good—but at $170 per drink, it’s way overpriced. The bar is small and fancy, but the pricing feels more like a luxury hotel bar. Great cocktail, but not worth the money.

001 is the pioneer of hidden bars in Hong Kong, having relocated to a corner of Tai Kwun in Central while still maintaining its mysterious style. Unless accompanied by a friend, it can be quite challenging to find the actual entrance. The creativity and sense of mystery are definitely present; stepping inside exudes an elegant enigmatic vibe, perfect for a date. However, when it comes to cocktails, they generally lack complexity and are on the pricier side. It's worth a visit for the experience, but one visit may suffice.
