1. Castle Cantelmo-Caldora

The castle has an incredible view on the town and surrounding nature and mountains ! The town has nerrow streets and stone houses. A beautiful place to visit. Entry to the castle costs only a few euros. Make sure you have cash, cause they don't accept cards.

Quick visit with a beautiful scenery! Definitely worth a visit if it is on your way. Entrance fee was only €2.50. We couldn’t find any restaurants in town so don’t come hungry!

well intact medieval castle that's very safe friendly and open, with catwalks and stairs even to climb the tower for a terrific view. inside is museum like displays with period pieces, entry in nominal priced at €2 a good value, one of only places in Pacentro that requires a fee. for the best view from outside the castle, visit at different times of the day and night including sunrise and sunset, especially from the bridge along the highway and the high belvedere of the statue of san antonio up the roadway

A magnificent place to visit with even more beautiful views from the top. We were amazed by the views to the mountains and while being all alone in the mid of Nov gives a special feeling.

Old times castle. Reserved in good shape. Can climb up to the highest tower (~120 stairs). Entrance admission - 2euro. Great views of the town and the surroundings.

It’s quaint as far as some parts of the castle attractions go, but the view is absolutely worth the €2.

Where in the world but in Italy can you visit a thousand year old castle, climb one of the towers, read informative descriptions about the various fases of its history and all that for just 2 euros.

Wonderful castle a little up the hill…great view from the tower, friendly staff and great value for money (2 EUR per person)
