The 12 Best Hotels in Nashville of 2024

"It's all about biophilic design at 1 Hotel Nashville, a top-five finalist in the 2023 World's Best Awards. That means it's all about connecting with nature, and nowhere is that more evident than in the Bamford Wellness Spa, 1 Kitchen, and Harriet's Rooftop bar, each of which are lush spaces with live plants just about everywhere." - Travel + Leisure Editors

1 Hotel Nashville

"Why book? Nashville’s brightest lights and loudest sounds co-exist with nature’s essence in a hotel that is built on a foundation of sustainability. Set the scene If the city of Tulum, Mexico were picked up and put in a hotel lobby in Nashville, it might feel like 1 Hotel Nashville. The space has a laid-back, eco-forward vibe, with live plants around and architectural elements that evoke Tennessee barns without being farmhouse style or kitschy. A long table on the way to the elevators offers a “farm stand” of fresh, if imperfect, fruits for a snack which well-heeled, casually dressed guests (many in natural fibers) appreciate. It is not unusual to see guests with dogs in tow. The backstory Started in 2015, the 1 Hotel chain is focused on a luxury eco-friendly experience. The hotels are rooted in biophilic design, connecting the building to nature. In Nashville that means live greenery along its outdoor façade and indoors, and a large art installation features every invasive plant in Tennessee, plus living plants in every guest room. The rooms The hotel’s sustainable, paperless mission is evident in the guest rooms. Instead of a pad of paper, you’ll find a chalkboard. Instead of plastic water bottles, grab a reusable bottle and use the in-room filtered water tap. Don’t want any interruptions? Place the Do Not Disturb rock in the hallway. But being sustainable doesn’t mean lack of luxury. Each room has live plants (watered by staff), plush bedding (organic cotton fibers, of course), and rain showers. The aesthetic is framed by reclaimed wood, exposed beams, and floor-to-ceiling windows. Food and drink Former “Top Chef” contestant Chris Crary helms 1 Kitchen, the hotel’s signature first-floor restaurant. The sustainability principles throughout the hotel are on display here, with an emphasis on local and seasonal ingredients (the goal is for 75 percent of ingredients to come from within a 200-mile radius). Look for regional produce like pawpaws on the menu. Trout from area purveyors is delivered in a cooler, not in plastic wrap. The kitchen doesn’t even have a printer: orders are communicated digitally. Harriet’s Rooftop is the 21-and-older rooftop bar, surrounded in more greenery. It’s the place to go for a crafted cocktail while looking out on the city skyline. Smoothies and other grab-and-go healthy breakfast, lunch, and snack items are available from the small Neighbors café in the lobby. The spa Walking into the Bamford Wellness Spa smells like walking into a meadow in the rain, thanks to the signature natural products used in all the spa treatments. While enveloped in scent you can unplug in a relaxation room which also has a greenery-clad balcony looking out on Nashville city streets, somehow both connecting you from the city and helping you feel far away from it. Treatments run the gamut from massages to facials to Vitamin B12 injections and antioxidant infusions. The neighborhood/area SoBro is a dynamic part of downtown, home to the Music City Center convention complex across the street and just blocks from the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. This is one of Nashville’s densest urban areas, and it will be particularly crowded when there are events at nearby Bridgestone Arena. The hotel is blocks from the neon of Broadway and its honkytonks, as well as attractions such as the Frist Art Museum and Gibson Garage. The service Not only will the staff immediately remember your name, they’ll remember the name of your dog, where you’re traveling from and other details to make you feel like you know one another. Service is polite and friendly and helpful, but not overbearing. Eco effort Not happy with Nashville’s options for glass recycling, the hotel installed its own glass crusher to recycle the glass waste it generates. Rooms keys are wooden, in-room carafes are made from old wine bottles, and even the hangers are made from recycled paper. The 1 Less Thing program allows you to leave unwanted clothing to be donated to a local organization. An hourglass in the shower helps you track how long your showers are—and therefore how much water you are using—in an unobtrusive way. Accessibility Entrances, guest rooms, restaurants, the lobby, meeting space and the fitness center meet ADA standards. Anything left to mention? Check schedules for the Supper That Sustains Us, a family-style dinner series that focuses on the restaurant’s sustainability mission with the opportunity to meet other guests as well as the hotel chefs. Need a ride? Borrow one of the in-house electric Audi e-trons for a few hours or ask to be dropped off where you need to go in one." - Margaret Littman

17 Best Hotels in Nashville Right Now | Condé Nast Traveler

"A stay at 1 Hotel Nashville is a sensory experience, from the tactile—with textured, reclaimed wood, and live plants on many surfaces—to the scent—which is closer to a field of wildflowers in the countryside than a busy city block in the heart of honky-tonk action. The Nashville branch of the 1 Hotel chain, which opened in 2022, is representative of the brand’s commitment to sustainability, in a way that is engaging but not spartan or schoolmarmish. Devote time to exploring some of these choices, such as the hourglass in the shower to create awareness about the length of time you leave the water running, and the hangers in the closet made from recycled wrapping paper. Like all proper Nashville hotels, 1 Hotel has a rooftop bar with a view; this one is surrounded in the hotel’s signature greenery, contributing to the feeling that country and city co-exist. And they do it on a plush bed with organic cotton sheets." - Margaret Littman

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Unforgettable Stay at 1 Hotel Nashville – A True Urban Sanctuary From the moment we arrived, 1 Hotel Nashville swept us into a world where luxury meets purpose. We stayed in the Panoramic One-Bedroom Suite, and I can honestly say — it’s one of the most thoughtfully designed, soul-soothing hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The suite itself is breathtaking — floor-to-ceiling windows flood the space with natural light, offering sweeping views of the city skyline that feel both energizing and serene. The interiors are warm, organic, and deeply calming — every detail, from the reclaimed wood to the living greenery, reflects the brand’s commitment to sustainability without compromising luxury. But what truly sets this hotel apart is the energy. There’s a quiet elegance to everything — from the scent that lingers in the air, to the way the staff greet you not just with professionalism, but with real presence and care. It’s more than just a beautiful place to stay. It feels like someone designed it to nurture you. If you’re thinking about visiting Nashville and want more than just a hotel — if you want a place that inspires you, grounds you, and reminds you what intentional hospitality looks like — this is it. 1 Hotel Nashville is not just a stay… it’s an experience. Already planning my return. 🌿

This was my husband’s and my first time in Nashville to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect experience! From the moment we walked in, we were so impressed by how beautiful and clean everything was. The entire hotel has such a welcoming atmosphere, and every single staff member was so kind and genuinely helpful! A very special thank you to Veronica, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We were surprised with a bottle of prosecco in our room, along with the sweetest handwritten note wishing us a happy anniversary. Such a thoughtful gesture and truly made our day feel extra special. We’re so glad we chose this place for our anniversary. It was everything we hoped for and more. We’ll definitely be back!!!

Absolutely Loved Our Stay at 1 Hotel Nashville|We stayed in the Panoramic One-Bedroom Suite and honestly, it was incredible. The views from the room were just stunning — full skyline right outside our window. The space felt really calm, warm, and beautifully designed. You can tell a lot of thought went into the details.|What stood out most to us was the atmosphere — there’s something about this place that just feels peaceful and grounding. It’s luxury, but in a very natural and unpretentious way. Everything from the materials to the plants in the room added to that vibe.|The team here was so kind and attentive too. It really made the whole experience special. This wasn’t just a hotel stay — it felt like a real escape.|Highly recommend this place if you’re visiting Nashville. We’d come back in a heartbeat.

We really couldn’t love this hotel more! It was our first time staying here and we were very happy. The location is excellent. You are close to Broadway and all the action without being right on top of it. You can also easily walk to Bridgestone Arena, which is what we did for a concert. The hotel has 24 hour room service. It smells wonderful And it’s very clean. There were some very fancy minibar items and the bed was amazingly soft. There is still a fair amount of street noise at night, but that is as to be expected in Nashville. We will definitely be back.

We stayed at 1 Hotel for a little getaway after our daughter got married. It was such a retreat! The hotel is so peaceful, the spa was wonderful and our room was a great escape! We ate breakfast in the onsite restaurant and it was different and very good! Already booked another stay there!

Price for room was competitive. They are upscale with a SPA theme. The 1 Kitchen has great food, maybe a bit liberal in the salt but great food. I want to say thank you to Courtney for being a great host at the bar. Exceptionally courteous and personable. I greatly appreciate this. All the staff has been great. This is what I expect at this level of hospitality. Great job, your staff is nailing it and excellent all around. I would most certainly stay again. I would not suggest bringing kids here. I have them, this is not the place. Animals welcome and treated great! Bring them pups! Thanks Hotel 1, made this trip relaxing. Rooftop dining is nice, sushi is a tad bit bland.. I would suggest adding a sauce top. It was good but missing a zip or bold flavor. If looking forward to sushi head down the road, they play too safe and do not leave a memorable note, but again great service all around. The food is good but could use a little something more.

Beautiful hotel! Every employee was happy and very healthy. We were given an upgrade when we checked in after the clerk found out we were celebrating our anniversary . They also sent us a celebratory bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries, which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Best fine hotel rooms I’ve seen so far. The aesthetics of the rooms were very welcoming, sustainably built and cozy. The balcony had a view pf the beautiful downtown Nashville. Staffs were friendly both the hotel staffs and the 1 Hotel restaurant staffs. Would love to visit again.

Yelp
This place is so naturally welcoming and environmentally conscious, I loved it. The decor was super nice and everything was so clean and woodsy. I liked the wooden keys and all of the stuff they had. The fresh fruit downstairs on the way to the lobby was nice. Having the cafe there was nice also. I was a fan of all of it. We ate at the 1 Kitchen for dinner when we got there and their little cafe for breakfast. "1" stop shop!

Yelp
This is a beautiful hotel! I really appreciate the thoughtfulness that went in to designing the rooms. There were some slight misses, but overall, i LOVED this hotel and can't wait to go back. The Great- Design / Cleanliness / Comfy Beds / Good internet for work! The Good - Strong AC / good black out curtains The Bad - The toilet seat - OMG it kept moving. It was tight, but kept moving. No desk to work at! I was here for a conference and had no place in the room to set up a work station. The Ugly - The bottles for the refillable toiletries had rubbed off text. I think instead of lotion, they gave me body wash on the vanity. Also, noise abatement wasn't great. The location of 1 Hotel, the vibe, the service, and the amenities were excellent. Just far enough off of Broadway that you can escape the crazy hustle and bustle if you want!

Yelp
I was not familiar with the 1 Hotel brand until I decided to book my stay here in Nashville. I did alot of research and wanted a hotel within walking distance to the Bridgestone Arena and Broadway (5 min) and near JW Marriott for dinner reservations at Bourbon Steak (right across the street/corner). Though this hotel does not have a rooftop pool, it does have a rooftop bar which we utilized with friends and had a great time. What also attracted me to the hotel was their biophilic design which brings nature indoors with the real plants, wood aesthetic, ambient natural lighting, etc. I find it very soothing and relaxing. It also felt like a boutique hotel which is my preference (215 rooms but it felt even more intimate than that). I booked a Cityscape King room which allowed for a premium city view on a higher floor (14th). I would do it again! As much as I initially wanted a room with a balcony, I read the views weren't that great. I also saw alot of complaints about the lack of privacy in the bathroom area, but I was comfortable enough with the privacy offered from the frosted ribbed glass over the shower enclosure and the bathroom door. The rooms are more of an open concept studio feel, which is modern. Some may prefer more of a traditional/classic room which this is not. Another unique thing our room had was a water filter spout for re-filling your water bottle, etc. I will admit though the water did not taste good, so we preferred not to use it. The hotel has alot to offer as far as food and drink is concerned. Besides their bar area and restaurant, they have their own coffee shop with actually good coffee and quality High Garden Tea (we tried JW Marriott's coffee at their café and it was terrible). I did have two off-putting experiences at the end of my stay, and though it was rectified it took many attempts to correct. Upon checking out we noticed we were charged valet for three nights but we never rented a car. We were charged for a missing refrigerated item but we most definitely did not take it. I just did not appreciate unwarranted charges and we had to call three times to rectify it because they kept saying they would but never did. Overall, I think 1 Hotel has alot to offer at a great value. It's a boutique, trendy and new hotel in a prime location. I would definitely return!

Yelp
From the moment I stepped into the grandeur of 1 Hotel Nashville, I was enveloped in an ambiance that whispered elegance and relaxation. This modern sanctuary, nestled in the heart of the city, is a testament to luxury and thoughtful design. The hotel itself is a marvel of contemporary aesthetics, with every corner and corridor curated to offer a visual feast. Yet, it's the soulful touches of comfort that truly set it apart. The rooms are a haven of tranquility, with plush bedding and serene decor that beckon a restful slumber. What struck me most was the hotel's commitment to the guest journey. The staff at 1 Hotel are the unsung heroes of hospitality. Each interaction was a display of professionalism and genuine care for guest experience, ensuring that every need was not just met, but anticipated. It's clear that they have left no stone unturned in their quest to provide an unparalleled experience. From the seamless check-in process to the meticulous engagement with the text concierge and the upkeep of the facilities, every aspect of my stay was a reflection of their dedication to excellence. 1 Hotel Nashville is more than just a place to rest; it's a destination that celebrates the finer things in life. I left with a heart full of memories and a resolve to return. For those seeking a retreat that promises both grandeur and grace, look no further than this exquisite establishment.

Yelp
Very nice environment in the ground floor restaurant. Good selection of dishes and drinks, warm pleasant decor, natural feel. My question is at the time to pay the bill there was a liquor tax of 30%. I have not been to any other restaurant in Nashville that does this. I wanted to like this restaurant it has so much going for it. I probably won't return.

Yelp
I had heard great reviews about 1 Hotels, so I was really looking forward to a luxurious experience. Unfortunately, I was unimpressed from the start and did not get the 5-star experience I was expecting. First off, there were no greeters at the front door, and no one offered to assist when I struggled with getting a large suitcase out of my rented vehicle. At the time of check in, there was only 1 gentleman at the desk. The check-in process was smooth but I did have to wait about 10 minutes as there was a customer ahead of me. At the check-in desk, someone came up to me and offered to take my bag. He was friendly, but he did not have any kind of name tag or hotel uniform, so I was a bit thrown off. He wound up being the one and only luggage porter at the hotel. Multiple times throughout my stay, he requested that I post a positive review on TripAdvisor. It was a bit awkward and definitely unexpected for a five star hotel. The bathroom was small and there was only frosted glass on the WC and the shower, meaning no privacy. The guestroom was large, however, immediately upon examining the room I noticed several areas of clearly visible staining including on the couch and couch pillows, the hand towel, and the duvet cover. The glass of the beside lamp was also broken, I reported this to the front desk and they did not seem too concerned. This is something I would expect to see in an airport motel, not a five star hotel that usually runs at over $300 per night. I ordered room service, and the food was pretty good. The lady who delivered my food was very kind and professional, so this was a highlight of the stay. I do think it was an odd choice that a small dusty house plant was included on the food service tray. I realize that the whole theme of the hotel is nature and sustainability, but having a dusty plant sitting by my food is not exactly appetizing. Lastly, I think one of the worst things about this hotel is that when I turned on the TV, I noticed an "after dark" (aka XXX) category as one of the first things on the screen. I was shocked that something like this would be so out in the open and readily available. There should be a pay wall to prevent access to any content like this. Not everybody wants their eyes to be assaulted with that kind of trash. Shameful. If you're looking to spend the extra money on a luxury experience, I would definitely avoid this hotel. While there were a couple of pros (tasty food, nice staff), the cons definitely outweighed the experience, and I will not be returning to this hotel and would not recommend it to anyone I know.

Yelp
We had an amazing stay at the 1 Hotel. It was my first time in Nashville and I was glad to have stayed here for my first visit. The hospitality from those at the front desk was memorable. They answered all our questions and helped us find places to eat that were open late. We had an upgraded room and it was very beautiful. Bed was comfy, pillows not too soft, and clean filtered water for you to dispense IN THE ROOM! We had some credit so we decided to go to the rooftop lounge and ordered some food and drinks. They had a DJ playing some chill r&b. There were plenty of seating space and a nice view. There's a market place downstairs next to the lobby that served great breakfast items. (We stopped by after we checked out in the morning.) They had different juices and coffees, freshly made food as well as some grab and go options. The only thing was that they had an area just before you enter the lounge near the marketplace were some free postcards and a mailbox for you to send out. We asked front desk if we can buy some stamps for them and they said they will take care of it and just place them in the box. We spent some time writing out postcards for friends and family and no one received them. They were free so it was okay but we would've bought some stamps if that was the reason. Overall we had a great stay here. The staff were so nice (sorry we forgot their names but we came mid DEC.) This was a great location. Walking distance to Broadway where all the popular bars and music venues were. If given the opportunity I would definitely stay here again.

Yelp
There should be so much to like about this hotel. The location is fantastic. walking distance to Broadway. The bedding was very comfortable. Floor to ceiling windows in our room (733) were great even if the full view was not perfect. Now for the not so good.Three days prior to checking in, we requested that a refrigerator be placed in our room so we could store some bubbles and other snacks. It wasn't there upon arrival. We had to request twice more in order to get it. As others have stated there is no bathroom privacy in this room...none. I've been married 40 years but I still want privacy when it comes to toileting . The hotel does not have self parking so explore the two lots that are very close to the hotel unless you want to incur a $62 per day charge for your car to be parked. Then there is the $29 per day resort fee. Not sure what was for for. Harriet's the roof top bar was lovely. The service was not so much. We had no table service. Hubby went to the bar himself to get a couple glasses of very overpriced wine. The attached picture of the unwanted guest was the icing on the cake. I couldn't believe it was crawling on the floor. Ick. Note that before posting this, I completed a survey sent by the hotel. They "apologized" for everything. You have so many hotels options in Nashville. Do your research and perhaps bypass 1Hotel Nashville.

Yelp
This hotel did not disappoint. I stayed here for a work conference. Hotel was impeccable. Staff was professional and friendly. The hotel was so serene and tranquil. There are plants every where. It smells angelic when you enter. Fresh fruit from the farm is out for grabs daily. The restaurant in the lobby is farm to table. Hotel is walking distance from everything in town. There was no need to take ride share anywhere. Just walk and enjoy the scenery. Nashville is bustling with things to do. The room has a rustic feel. The view of the city was amazing. The bed allowed me to have a peaceful, comfortable sleep. I would definitely stay here again.

Yelp
My wife and I had a wonderful stay at 1 Hotel in Nashville. There were a couple things that happened when we were at the hotel such as a key fob not working and some issues with the bathroom, but the manager, John Magnusson went out of the way to get ahold of me and made sure we were more than happy with the outcome of the situation. In terms of the hotel amenities they are superb. The rooftop bar and restaurant is really something else. My wife and I hung out up there for a whole evening. The location to everything else in Nashville is also super convenient. I greatly recommend the hotel!

Yelp
We enjoyed our 5 night stay. The hotel is perfectly located, just a 5 minute walk from Broadway St and about 10 minutes away from The Gulch. Lots to do & see within walking distance. We took advantage of their spa and started our trip with a couples massage, it was phenomenal. The spa is beautiful & the message couldn't have been better. Lovely staff, great hospitality & eager to make sure you have a good stay. This area of town is loud. Just a heads up/something to keep in mind, noise levels in the rooms on the lower floors is moderate to heavy. From the outdoor traffic to inside the hotel, we woke up several times through out the earlier morning hours to noises. We had booked a regular room & during check-in we were offered & ended up upgrading to a balcony suite. In retrospect the upgrade was not worth it, the view was to an empty & loud parking lot, & these rooms were on the lower level of the hotel, 4-6 (so keep that in mind if thinking of upgrading to one of these rooms). Lots of dinning options within the hotel & a great roof top bar! Hefty price point, but we were pleased with the amenities, practicality of the location, & our room.

Yelp
Constant Noise and Poor Service There's are so many better hotels out there, including three star ones. There is no way this is a 5-star, it was a horrible experience and not worth the money. The other reviews are right about the service, it's really poor. The doorman is really nice, but the check-in desk is aloof, snobby, and act like it's an inconvenience that you're staying there. First, it's loud all the time. I requested a quiet room but the people above me were dragging furniture around until 1am. The bass/music from the rooftop bar starts at 5/6pm and goes until after midnight. You will feel the bass in your room for hours. Second, THEY CAME INTO MY ROOM WITHOUT PERMISSION. I am immune-compromised and had to sanitize my room, I asked not to be disturbed three times and I had to re-sanitize my room. And when I asked them what I could do to make sure nobody comes in, they stopped talking to me and looked down at their computers. They didn't offer to help with a do not disturb sign, they didn't offer me cleaning supplies, just acted like I wasn't even standing there. Third, they charged me a resort fee that wasn't listed on the site I used to book the hotel. The Resort Fee is $35/day. When I asked what it was for, they said it was for the "free" apple and use of their car service even if you didn't use it! $70 FOR APPLES!!!!!

Yelp
Really looked forward to staying at this hotel however it ended up quite a nightmare. Simply put if you have any concerns or problems during your stay here don't expect anyone especially either of the two managers to help once so ever. In fact they will act like they are willing to help but when it comes to following through they will disappear on you "In a meeting" "on vacation" ect ect and never return a phone call or message. Feel very icky and sick to my stomach about the whole experience at the hotel and about the staff.

Yelp
My room was clean, quiet and tranquil which was a welcomed juxtaposition from the craziness of Broadway. The drivers were super friendly as well. Also the spa was INCREDIBLE! Definitely get a massage here. 12/10

Yelp
My husband & I had a fantastic staycation at the 1 Hotel Nashville. We live about 30 minutes away but felt like we were in a different city. The hospitality was amazing as soon as we arrived. The concierge had great recommendations for restaurants & upgraded our room since we were celebrating my husband's birthday. I must say my favorite thing was the water tap in the room! I usually hate searching for the water machine or water bottles in hotels, so this was a huge plus for me. Rooftop has a great view & vibe. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
Excellent service in the restaurant!!! Best Brussels sprouts and salmon is the best. Very clean and comfortable

Yelp
Great location depending on what you're doing in Nashville. Room has some nice features (filtered water tap!) but I can only give this 3* for the following reasons: - Exorbitantly expensive. $600+ for the room, $65 if you're valeting, expensive room service and hotel lounge. - The biophilic design can be over the top and clashes with say, the house music they blast in the hotel lounge. - Make sure you feel comfortable going to the bathroom behind a translucent window with your companion or family if you stay in this hotel. - The walls are thin, and you could easily hear hallway chatter, people in other rooms, and outside noise/partying well past midnight. Because they say they are so eco friendly they've given themselves an excuse to charge an extreme rate. But other hotels I've stayed at in this price range are silent, more tasteful, and just feel more luxe.

Yelp
This hotel was so beautiful and clean. I love the aesthetic of it. The rooftop is absolutely gorgeous. We had good experiences with the front desk staff and room service. Room service is available at all hours. It's definitely a pretty penny but worth it in my opinion. Very modern as well. And perfect location for broadway!

Yelp
Legitimately probably one the best experiences using a hotel chain in ages.. Customer service - 5 stars Room cleanliness - 5 stars Accommodations - 5 stars On-site Bar - 5 stars Value - 5 Stars We will definitely be finding more hotels by this chain to use for future travel. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay close to the action of Nashville, walking distance to broadway and arena.. love it!

Yelp
Hotel 1 is absolutely stunning. Staff is great! Beautiful place with amazing food and drinks. Ranae and the bar staff downstairs were fantastic. We drank there last year when we visited and remembered how delightful they were. The only downfall of the rooms are the bathrooms. Zero privacy. My mom and cousin shared an adjoining room with ours. It's a tad funky when there's no doors blocking off the bathroom from the bedroom.

Yelp
I'm going to write out this review on both yelp and Google reviews. Whatever you guys do, do not stay at this hotel. It is extremely unsafe and their room service is so unprofessional and their management is extremely Inconsiderate. I stayed at this hotel for a weekend and it was my first ever experience in Nashville and I wanted to stay at a high-end beautiful hotel and unfortunately the beauty of this hotel is for absolutely nothing when the service is below horrible. so much has happened during that stay I don't even know where to start. Let's just start with the room service, it was very unprofessional, and I only called once and asked for a few plates and some utensils and a microwave. They got my whole entire room service order wrong. They came back three or four times and got it wrong every single time. they had construction going on right on top of our room. It shook our whole room the whole entire night and next morning. And the worst part is, one of their employees was knocking on my door, I was the only one in that room and was asleep. It was super early in the morning, and not only did he continuously knock and wake me up, he walked into my room, without my consent. That is extremely unsafe. I will never recommend anybody this place, it is probably the worst hotel I've ever stayed in my life. The managers, Krista and John are horrible managers. I've called and complained multiple times and they keep blowing me off every single time I've went back-and-forth with both of them, none of them have gotten back to me about my concerns and when one of them eventually did, after i've made numerous calls to get in contact with the manager, she told me that she refunded me one night of our stay and said she will send me a copy of the receipt through email she never sent me a receipt and I never received a refund. I asked her a couple times for corporate number or somebody to speak to that's higher than both her and John and she refused to give me the number. Luckily, I found the number and I will be calling and making a Complaint to whoever I need to, about them and my experience at this hotel. They are money hungry and are disgusting to support or give even a single penny to. If I can give this hotel a negative number, I 1000% would.

Yelp
I had a wonderful stay while in town for a conference. The hotel is beautiful; the rooms are spacious and the staff provided great customer service. While they do not have a business center, their concierge was very accommodating with taking care of my printing needs. The food is pretty good, although the mac n cheese balls are "just okay." I loved the Oat Cakes and ordered them twice. Overall, I would stay again if I'm in Nashville and am able to get a discounted rate. It was about $800/night.

Yelp
Not worth the price and does not justify the ranking as a fine hotel. The lady at the reception was unprofessional and unfriendly. It started with us waiting for our room and every few minutes she came and told us that we would get the room in a few minutes It continued for one and a half hours. Finally, she said we would get the room in 5 minutes because it was being inspected after cleaning. We got the room - no privacy at all - the bathroom doors are transparent. The all room was dirty. The floor was full of hair, and nails on the floor and there was urine on the toilet. And that was after the room was inspected?! We went back to the reception and asked to the get a different room so we needed to wait for another 40 minutes. The worst part was at check out. We received a bill that seemed unreasonable. We asked for a detailed receipt and they told us that it is not possible to get it!! They showed us through the iPad all charges and they had no explanation for some of the charges that were not made by us!! And luckily we checked because they wanted to charge us $50 more than necessary. We spoused to stay at the hotel next week too, which of course we canceled. The location is great, but all the others were not acceptable and not forgivable.

Yelp
Customer service was fantastic. Everyone we encountered was so kind, respectful, and smiling. Absolutely beautiful lobby with wood, moss, dim lighting, natural features. There's a very earth friendly vibe without being weird. Even the keys are wooden chips. Loved it. The room was great as well with robes, slippers, Nespresso machine, stocked mini bar and snacks, even a water dispenser so you're not drinking out of the sink (if that's weird to you). The room lighting was great with multiple dimming options. There was a comfy chair with side table as well as a mini couch with a table but nothing made it feel cramped. The room we originally booked was not available so we got a free upgrade. Where it could turn to 4 stars for some, I imagine, would be in terms of the bathroom situation. Clear glass shower walls, semi-see through glass toilet walls, and no walls to conceal the bathroom in general would probably not be great if rooming with friends, coworkers, etc. Very intimate, no privacy. My husband and I made it work and since we were staying overnight it wasn't a big deal at all. Maybe because I'm from a smaller big city, I'm not too familiar with hotels having no parking for guests. We could pay $60/night for valet or we could park across the street for $20 or $25. Again, maybe this is the norm that we're just unfamiliar with but it didn't bother me enough to change my rating. Overall we loved it and would visit again!

Yelp
DO NOT STAY HERE WITH SPECIAL NEEDS CHILDREN they are NOT accessible and the staff isn't even kept track of. My children were called RETARDED by a staff member who they say doesn't work there and never has. When I complained via email and customer comments, my issues were never addressed. It's been almost a year later and they can't help me because they can't find my reservation. It's all about the money with these people. Take yours elsewhere. It's not worth the stress.

Yelp
Amazing luxury hotel in Nashville with clean and comfortable rooms. Beautiful hotel in a great location. The reception area is welcoming and the staff is friendly. The food options and bar here are great as well. Really awesome dining experience.

Yelp
My first stay at the 1 Hotel in Nashville. Top line - I would recommend the One Hotel, particularly if you have business downtown and/or are attending a sporting or music event and/or looking to enjoy adult-like activities. My experience was that the service generally was very good, the staff were polite and efficient, and the rooms were lovely. I probably would not recommend the hotel if you are traveling with kids under 12, as the hotel does not seem to cater to that clientele. To the extent that we offer recommendations, they seem fixable. I say "seem" because I am not a hotelier and do not have the requisite expertise to offer that suggestion with certainty. Review in detail: Quality of the room: The room was impeccably decorated, spotless, and the beds were super comfortable (5 stars) Location: Amazing. It was a 5 minute walk to Bridgestone Arena for the LUke Bryan concert. Moreover, I went for a run in the morning, the area is so nice. (5 stars). Additionally, there is no shortage of fun stuff to do in the area. Staff - interaction: The staff were polite throughout our stay. Props to Matthew (concierge) and John (Front desk - Sunday) for polite, efficient, and helpful service (4.5 stars) Staff - logistics From my perspective, the primary weakness at the One was related to a staffing shortage, particularly at the valet/bellhop section. We did not notice an issue at Sunday brunch or the delivery of room service at 11:20 p.m. on Saturday evening (3 stars) Food: The food served at the Sunday brunch was generally excellent, i.e., short-rib hash, eggs, biscuits and preserves, and basic coffee. Additionally, we ordered the trout dip and the chicken caprese sandwich for room service, which also was very good. My dirty chai latte did not blend well. (4.25 stars)

Yelp
We stayed overnight at this brand new hotel and very much enjoyed it. We chose it because we'd stayed at the 1 Hotel in NYC a few years ago and loved it. Aside from everything not being fully up and running our stay was nice. The staff was friendly and helpful upon arrival. Everyone from valet to front desk staff, to the cafe staff were all nice. The room was extremely clean, spacious and comfortable.

Yelp
I wanted this place to be my new go to- I wanted this place to work and it still can ... Came in for a quick lunch .. waited over 45 minutes for a burger no cocktails. The burger is good very messy. Asked for the side salad and there wasn't any dressing .. not a "light summer dressing" there was nothing Presentation of the food doesn't match presentation of the hotel, staff, other cocktails (I saw come out) Staff is hit or miss.. I had two rockstars and two that were too cool ... Will try again and hope they can work some of these things out

Yelp
Disappointing Experience with Rude and Bad Room Service at 1hotel downtown Nashville. I am writing to express my utmost disappointment and frustration regarding the abysmal room service experience I recently encountered during my stay at your hotel. As a paying guest who expected a certain level of professionalism and courtesy, I was appalled by the rude and bad service I received. To begin with, the room service server ( theo I guess that was his name ) exhibited a complete lack of respect and etiquette. His tone of voice was consistently rude and condescending, making me feel quite unwelcome and uncomfortable. It is disheartening to encounter such unprofessional behavior from individuals who are supposed to represent the hotel and cater to the needs of its guests especially with a new hotel that should provide exceptional service to attract more guests. Furthermore, the efficiency and quality of the room service were far below satisfactory. Orders were delivered late, and when they finally arrived, the items were often incorrect or missing altogether. The lack of attention to detail and disregard for customer satisfaction was evident throughout my experience with your room service department. One particularly disconcerting incident occurred when I requested a replacement for a faulty appliance in my room. Instead of promptly addressing the issue, the staff member who came to inspect the problem displayed an alarming level of indifference and dismissiveness, treating the matter as insignificant. This kind of negligence towards guest requests is entirely unacceptable. As a frequent traveler, I have had the opportunity to experience room service in various hotels around the world, and it is with regret that I must say that my recent encounter at your establishment was by far the worst. The poor service and disrespectful attitude left a lasting negative impression, tarnishing what was supposed to be a pleasant stay. The management or whoever hires people to work as servers who interact directly with the guest should focus more on the personality and language of the candidates. I strongly urge you to address this matter seriously and take immediate action to rectify the service quality within your room service department. It is essential to train your staff in customer service skills, language skills and enforce strict guidelines regarding professionalism and courteous behavior. I sincerely hope that my feedback will be taken seriously and that steps will be taken to improve the room service experience for future guests. I believe in the potential of your hotel as new property in Nashville that should care more about building a good reputation. and its ability to provide exceptional service. However, without prompt and efficient resolution to these issues, I will be hesitant to recommend your establishment to fellow travelers.

Yelp
not my favorite 1 hotel, but i still love 1 hotels with all my heart. our bathroom wasn't the cleanest, but we made do. the rooms are cozy but the bathroom setup can be a bit too intimate for non-intimate partners / friends as the toilet stall is surrounded only by semi-private glass. and the shower is clear, lol. so if y'all going with friends best get your own rooms or... else. the rooftop bar isn't accessible until operating business hours, wished it was open throughout the day for day drinks and view of the music city during the day. the 1 hotel shares the same building as the embassy suites, but the hotels are very much separate. staff are all extremely welcoming and friendly. check-in and check-out was easy. valet is available but public parking is easy to find during non-peak seasons. walking distance to broadway, without being in the midst of broadway noisiness. can't wait to revisit!

Yelp
I recently learned of the 1 Hotels brand when researching a Nashville hotel for my birthday. This place is amazing!! The service was amazing overall and decor is lovely and so peaceful. The room was very clean and had a nice city view. Surprisingly, I really enjoyed the rainfall shower. I almost didn't book here because I haven't been a fan of rainfall showers in the past, but 1 Hotel proved me wrong. The amenities are unmatched and I really feel like the value matched the price paid. One of my birthday highlights was taking the electric Audi for a 2 hour test drive. That really made my day! The hotel also provides drop off service in the Audi (within a 2 mile radius). We took advantage of that as well. While here, I got to try the Bamford Wellness Spa and both 1Kitchen Lounge/Neighbors for breakfast on separate days. I had a bit of an odd experience at Neighbors but will elaborate when I write that specific review. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks 1 Hotel Nashville for making my birthday a memorable one!

Yelp
I had an event at this hotel on January 27th in the Mossy Ridge Room and was very satisfied with the room quality, pricing, and overall turn out of my event. The reason I'm giving a 1 star is because I experienced theft by an employee. At the end of my event, after all guests have departed, I had a pre-labeled box that needed to be returned to UPS. The box contained 3 purses in their original packaging. But I had yet to tape the box back up. My event coordinator, Brianne, said that UPS picked up at their location multiple times a week and she would be happy to take possession of it, tape it, and give to their UPS pick up driver the following Monday. Since this was someone that I had communicated with multiple times regarding the event I felt it was safe to let her handle it. I emailed her on the 28th asking her to confirm the package was picked up. On the 29th she confirmed it was picked up. The following week I received a notification from the receiving company that only 2 of the 3 bags were included in the box. They acknowledged that there was no tampering of the original packaging or the box handled by UPS. Which means the bag was more than likely removed before it was sealed. I emailed Brianne immediately and attached is her response. Needless to say it's a very unprofessional and unacceptable response. I would expect some sort of acknowledgment of how she handled the box from the time I left the responsibility to her, to the time it was picked up. And maybe another even further investigation into who if any other employees handled that package. But no, just put it on UPS. If UPS would have stolen anything pretty sure they would have took the whole box. Not swiped a Gucci bag, resealed and then left it nice and neat for the receiving party. Further disappointment came when myself or my party planner could not get any response from a manager. Email requests and social media messages all went unrecognized. My only recourse at this point is to file a police report and hopefully they can review the cameras. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and if you stay there don't bring anything of value!

Yelp
i want to cry. there are no walls or doors on the bathroom. we arrived late in the evening with our 4 year old granddaughter. my husband has been unable to bathe because my granddaughter has full view of the shower which has unaltered glass. the toilet has deep lines in the glass but you can see what the person is doing. i called guest service, they sent up a shower curtain with no way to hang it up. and to top it off, there are no black out curtains. i have to stay here for 3 nights and i want to literally cry. this is so inappropriate on so many levels. this Is not a child or privacy friendly hotel. I want to cry.the internet is really bad, too. I'm unable to attach the "bathroom" photo

Yelp
We had a great stay here. We were in 608 with a balcony. The Spa was much better than expected (I expected a much smaller spa for what i would call a boutique brand). but I was wrong it was extremely nice and much bigger than expected. Rooftop bar was great too. There is nothing "ordinary" about this hotel. It's truly a unique experience all the way down to the "wooden" door keys.

Yelp
Decent hotel. Really promoted some kind of sustainability ideas. Got charged $96 for a bag of popcorn, bottle of water and half size bottle of wine...from in room snack bar. Certainly not worth it. No obvious price list on display.

Yelp
Everything from A-Z was top notch. I worked with Erin and Brianne from 1Hotel Nashville and Jennifer from Encore Global for a multi-day offsite meeting with my team. They were all extremely knowledgeable, informative, accommodating and patient. Not to mention the hotel is breathtaking. Kayla and her wait staff took care of us at our welcome reception. Brianne and Erin met me the day of our arrival, which made me feel so good because we spent so much time ironing out all the details. I felt like they were friends. Brianne absolutely went above and beyond for us. Austin assisted with our technology and Kerolos ensured our breakfast and lunch set up was perfect. My team and I were very happy we used 1Hotel for our offsite. I highly suggest this hotel and/or the event space. It is beautiful hotel and smells wonderful.

Yelp
One of the best dining experiences I have had in Nashville. The food was quick and tasted top tier. Not only was the food phenomenal, the service provided by Drew and KB made the experience extremely special. I will definitely be returning.

Yelp
FINALLY!!! I have been coming to Nashville for years. Well before the BOOM. So I've grown accustomed to the laidback and casual ways around here. Nothing too serious, too fancy, or too professional. Traveling for work constantly, being in New York, LA, and Miami, and having the luxury of experiencing excellent service at branded hotels those cities feature, it was starting to feel like kind of a drop off anytime coming to Nashville. Yes the Dream is charming, JW Marriott is ok, but nothing is on the level of the new 1 Hotel. The level of service will blow you away. Not just by Nashville standards either. Kudos to the hotel brand for either transferring in the talent they did to run the place, or training local staff the way they did. It is noticeable and it is excellent. From the check in desk, to the baristas in the cafe, to the gym trainer, to the bartenders. This is next level service. The rooms are also off the charts. I am obsessed with the beds and linens and am now on a mission to purchase for my own house because I haven't slept do deep and peacefully as I did this week in a long time. I have a new home in Nashville thanks to the 1 Hotel. And I can't wait to come back in a month when their rooftop is complete. I heard it is breathtaking!

Yelp
Had a great time; but expensive for two beds. It was nice to be close to arena for concert. Maps would have been a plus.

Yelp
My daughter recently got engaged at this hotel. I live in FL and I wanted to do something special for them so I called to see if I could have flowers and champagne placed at their brunch table as a surprise. Ashley at the front desk and Matthew the concierge were more than happy to help! Matthew accepted the delivery of flowers and kept them safe until their reservation. Matthew coordinated with the spa manger to make sure we had photos and it was such a special day for them. Thank you to everyone for your help!!

Yelp
The hotel looks great and is a convenient location to Broadway Street venues. The rooftop bar has a great atmosphere. The reason I am giving this location a poor review is that the shower in the room I had, overflowed into the room after about 3-4 minutes of use. I communicated with the front desk after my first experience and they were going to send maintenance to check it out. Never heard back from the front desk, but assumed it was resolved. Next morning, the same thing happened again. I spent 5 minutes showering (more than that and it would have been in the bedroom or hallway) and then using every towel in the room and the next 15 minutes trying to soak up water from the toilet area to the entryway. Thank goodness I was solo traveling! Found someone on staff who said this was a known issue for a block of rooms. I would not recommend staying here unless there is some public announcement that this has been resolved. Completely unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one in this price range.

Yelp
Food was fine. Met some new friends there for what we hoped would be a nice time at a new restaurant. As it turned out, it was uncomfortable. Service was horrible. Server laughed at me when I asked for a paper menu. Made a comment about my old eyes. Honestly, when restaurants are still pushing the online menu, it's sad. Everyone spending the first 5 min of an expensive lunch looking at their phones trying to read it is ridiculous and so impersonal. How are we supposed to spend time with people when we're forced to look at our phones for items? Our server wanted to take a break and rolled his eyes when I asked for more water and he could see we weren't leaving anytime soon. We asked for receipt but we're given none. We were left with no server after we paid the bill. We were double charged for our tip as we noticed in our credit card alert. We went into restaurant the following day to get a receipt. They said they would email it to us but they never did. No one seemed to really care there about the customer. They need to have better leadership in the restaurant. Won't be returning. If it's typical Nashville, it will be a different restaurant before next year. Especially since it's not starting out with good leadership leading a team of excellence in the restaurant.

Yelp
The beautiful luxurious hotel was one I enjoyed with its white gloves service and welcoming staff in September 2023. However, this was not the same case when I returned with my friends in November, only a couple months later. Upon arrival there was no one at the door to greet or help with bags. The staff and supervisor, Adam were cold and discourteous. We had a reservation mishap where we booked 2 nights but only 1 night showed and the hotel was booked. The poor management of this issue is one that I would not recommend this hotel for any future visits. There was no empathy, understanding or willingness to help. I wanted to cancel the reservation and find another hotel that could accommodate the 2 nights instead, Adam insisted I was being charged a penalty fee way above the cost of the 1 night. Can you imagine how we felt when we arrived after a challenging flight from FLA all day and then a shouting match with a Supervisor. Fortunately, the AMAZING JW across the street accommodated us with open arms and provided the best welcome that smooth out the horrible experience we had at 1 Hotel. Needless to say, they charged me almost $1400. Never again!

Yelp
bad service for the price of staying. bar staff looked and acted angry the entire time.
