"In 2012, one of the world's richest men—Oracle founder Larry Ellison—bought 97 percent of the island of Lanai. The single sweeping deal (reputed to cost $300 million) included the exquisite Four Seasons Resort, overlooking a marine reserve. The resort's dining experience par excellence is Nobu, where celebrity chef Nobuyuki Matsuhisa presides over the perfect marriage of Japanese dishes and Peruvian ingredients. Kick things off with crispy Brussels sprouts or scallops with jalapeño salsa, then move on to sushi, hand rolls, or Wagyu beef. Save room for the Bento Box dessert with green tea ice cream and chocolate flourless cake. Or go old-school, if it's on the menu, and order the mochi pound cake backed by yuzu-cherry jelly and peanut butter ice cream."

Yelp
* Mozza is the name now!!! New chefs! Breakfast was absolutely unreal with Ahi Benedict and blueberry ricotta pancakes being my personal highlight. Dinner was stunning with the italian theme of a cheese starter, pasta dish primo, and main entree after. We were BLOWN AWAY :)

Yelp
Great food, amazing service and very romantic! Had my birthday dinner with my boyfriend. The server was very knowledgable with the food and took consideration of my allergies. They gave us complimentary amuse bouche which was very tasty. We ordered half dozen oyster which was decent but the house bread with soften butter and chili oil was extraordinary. For our enteree, my boyfriend got the new york strip with one forty signature sauce which he stated was one of the best steaks he had while I got the catch of the day which was a some sorth of white snapper which i enjoyed very much especially with sauteed mishroom. We shared the cream corn with bacon and the sweet potato gratin which were both nice. We didn't get a dessert but they did give us truffles while thanking us for choosing the restaurant. Solid experience !!

Yelp
New York strip was delicious and well cooked, venison was surprisingly tender. We enjoyed the burrata app. Rhône Syrah wasn't bad with the steak. Creamed corn was fine, mac n cheese was good! Big fan of the bread with miso butter and chili (harissa?) oil. Fun to try something unexpected! After both Nobus, a meal with some sides of carbs was appreciated.

Yelp
Let me start by saying how incredible each staff is! Their service is definitely FORBES standard approved! I went the past two nights, Alexcel hit every time on point! The one minute greet, to the 7 min drink time was great! Matt did take a minute longer, only because our fourth guest hasnt arrived yet (i assume). The ambiance is beautiful, very ocean front and during sunset is the best time! This review will be a combination of both nights! Let's talk food.... The Oysters are sold by a dozen or by half a dozen. With that, comes an accompany of horseradish, calamansi mignonette, and another sauce that i forgot. Seafood Rigatoni was definitely filling and done to perfection! Since I'm allergic to scallops, I was able to ask for more shrimp instead! The rigatoni sauce was very fresh and vibrant because of the fresh tomatoes that they use from Sensei Farms, which is all done locally. You can just tell that it was fresh!! My appetizer yesterday was the Burrata Caprese! And what an excellent take on a Caprese. It's got little baby crostini (i'd say it's more of a few croutons) paired with some citrus supreme to bring it some brightness. But, the highlight of it all is of course the BURRATA!!! It was lightly salted and has a little cracked pepper then with that aged balsamic.... WOW! That's all there is to say about that! Amazing and the best burrata you will ever have! One thing i would personally recommend(my preference) is basil pieces rather then the small sprigs would probably elevate the dish a tad more, but I know it's all about the presentation. The Ali'i Mushroom Soup was probably the best soups I have ever had. It was nice and creammy with the creme fraiche. The best part of this experience is it's done table side. One thing I would like to notate is a minor discrepancy on the QR-code menu that HUGE for others for the ali'i mushroom soup, it doesn't say SPICED macadamia nuts. I bit into it and was sad because the presentation was beautiful, but it has a kick and that kick was not what I was expecting. However, Alex did offer to have chef remake it and thankfully it came back quickly and I was able to enjoy this velvety mushroom goodness! So, not to manager, i would update that menu to say SPICED or I would make sure server clarifies that part of the soup. Minor hiccup, but Alex recovered it very seamlessly. The lamb was THE BEST rack I ever had. It's not that I had much, but it was seasoned to perfection and honestly... it comes with a sauce, but don't waste your time! You won't need a sauce! It was done to the wellness I was hoping for, medium! And easy to cut into! The tomahawk was also seasoned and cooked to perfection. The sides and desserts.... Incredible done!!! The lobster mashed potatoes were soooo creammy, almost like a polenta with a block of butter!! They also do not shy away from the amount of lobster in the small vessel. The other thing i was surprised about was the Toasted COCONUT creamed spinach! Creamed spinach will never be the same for me after this! And i hate that! It would always need a bit of coconut in it now. As someone who isn't a fan of toasted shredded coconut, this was a must and elevated the spinach much more than you would expect! 2 desserts I have tried was the ONE FORTY Hot Soufflé and the DULCEY "Pour Over." My favorite would be the Soufflé hands down!!! This was my favorite part of the entire experience the first night! Sooo warm and fresh! My least favorite was the Dulcey, it had a cool presentation. The caramel was great, but i feel like it wasn't what I was looking for. I will say it was probably a preference thing. The dulce deleche tart was very cute and everything was aesthetically pleasing! The presentation of caramel over didn't turn out as I was expecting, but still not a bad dessert. But definitely coming back for the soufflé! The gianduja gelato was nice for both desserts though. Described as a nutella-like gelato. I would probably just want some gelato with the caramel! Ohh... almost forgot, the black and blue sangria is highly recommended. Just know if you are a light weight... that's probably the only drink you will need for the entire night. As a whole, I enjoyed every moment. From entering the restaurant to saying farewell. Other people to shoutout would have to be CAROL and Rochelle! I keep feeling bad having to ask for things, but they were soo quick to get anything I needed! Waters were always filled and plates were always cleared! Rochelle always took a second to allow me to record any tableside presentations, which she did perfectly. Even as detailed as to hold the light up for me. It's because of these amazing staff and of course the freshness of the food that will bring me back! I am in love! I must try that SURF AND TURF BURGER next time! Thank you sooo much for your hospitality ONE FORTY! This place is literally LANA'I's best steak, seafood, and HOT SOUFFLÉ spot to be!

Yelp
located inside the four seasons resort. it's so dreamy and relaxing at the same time. severs and busser are everywhere, making sure you are being taken care of. I ordered a NY streak and it was cooked to perfection (medium rare). I tried the chimichurri sauce and one forty special sauce. I wah there's more texture to the chimichurri sauce because it's like a they blended all the ingredients. there's really no wow factor for the one forty sauce, it tastes just like A1 and bbq sauce combination, on a less tangy side. representation for the dessert was A1. the dessert was placed on a block of ice! the passion fruit and banana goes well together and the foam on top has rum flavor. overall great experience and would come back.

Yelp
As a gluten free and vegan diner I wasn't sure what to expect. I thought I'd end up eating fish (which I'm ok with sometimes) but that is not what happened at all. In fact, we were blown away when we sat down and a chefs vegan tasting menu was presented to us. Fine dining, all vegan, accommodations for my gluten free needs, all in one beautiful menu. And the food did not disappoint. Amuse bouche and five courses. The chef personally served a number of the dishes and was so gracious and humble. He really made a point of wanting guests to be able to enjoy a meal at his restaurant regardless of their dietary needs.

Yelp
Views and delicious food, what more could you ask for? I arrived at 10am for breakfast and was promptly seated with a great view of the resort pools and ocean. The server was quick and very attentive throughout my experience. I ordered the tuna benedict... it was to die for! The quality of fish was really high and the whole dish was so tasty. I really enojyed this restaurant for breakfast!

Yelp
I had dinner here solo my first night on the island. I was tired after flying from the big island, checking in, and doing the sunset sail adventure. But I knew I needed to eat something before retiring to my room for the night so I made an 8pm reservation and decided to come enjoy a nice dinner. As a solo diner you are sometimes stuck away in a back corner but the FS generally does a good job of not doing that to me so they put me at a nice table where I could use my laptop and be around others. I saw several things on the menu I'd loved to have tried but I wanted to eat light because I knew I'd be asleep in a few hours so I chose no appetizers and only the STEAMED LOCAL ONAGA served with shiitake mushrooms, bok choy, ginger, japanese white soy, and sesame oil for about $60 if I remember the price correctly. It was simply steamed and served table side on a salt slab rolled out to me - they placed the fish on a bed of rice and mushrooms and poured the hot soy and seasame oil on top of it which warmed and sizzled the bok choy. It was a great presentation and the fish was light and flaky and absolutely perfect. Good choices be damned I also decided to try dessert when I saw the menu. I chose the Dulcey Pour Over for $14. A macadamia nut and dulcey tart and guanaja dark chocolate sorbet with warm caramel drizzled over table side to melt a chocolate disc onto the tart. It was VERY heavy and decadent. Very good but I only had room for a few bites. Great service. Very reverent and professional. It's a pretty setting at night - transformed from the early morning bustle of the breakfast buffet and subdued - you can have a seat by the balcony overlooking the pool and ocean seeing the flame torches around the resort flicker and provide ambiance. It's very pretty. A nice spot. Would be a great place for a romantic dinner if you aren't solo (like I always am on travel).

Yelp
We've been in Hawaii for 8 days now, first on Maui and now on Lanai- the meal we had at One Forty was hands down the best meal we have had so far on this trip. Our waiter and his assistants gave us - not just good, but truly great service. Great atmosphere- I would have eaten anything on their menu without complaining. There were 4 of us for dinner, and we had the Kurobudta pork chop, the Ahi tuna, the mushroom soup and the butternut squash risotto; all were excellent. For dessert we had the hot soufflé and the chocolate apple. My favorite was the chocolate apple for sure, but there was nothing wrong with the hot soufflé either. All in all a great experience and we will definitely be back next time we're here.

Yelp
Loco moco was elevated with island sourced beef patty, mushroom gravy, sunny eggs and pickled veggies. Arnal, our server was attentive and made us feel very welcome. Came back again the night night for dinner. Had a seafood tower, cooked perfectly and the catch of the day and an awesome dessert course. Must try this place if you're on Lanai!

Yelp
Amazing in every respect! "140" It's the square miles size of Lana'i and so too 140 degrees F for a perfect medium rare on a steak. While the name might be a stretch in either reguard, our dinner was a 10! Nothing could have been better. The view, the service or the food. The loin of local venison was crazy good, very $$$ but the goat cheese tart could have been a 5 star meal on it's own. We got the lobster tail side which was a good 1/2lb tail and actually a good value side dish. Shrimp side also worth the add on. The Gouda mac and cheese was so amazing we couldn't dare part with the 3 ounces we could not eat. Doggie bag. FYI there is no room in the mini bar fridge. We got the Chocolate Souflee and were giddy with delight. Then the amazing manager from Germany brought us two glasses of bubblely Rose. OMG. If I died on the spot I would have not regrets. PERFECTION!

Yelp
Lovely dinner overlooking the ocean! We really enjoyed everything we had this evening. Scalloped potatoes Lobster Mac n cheese New York steak The fillet steak Fresh fish Gnocchi Fresh bread Sashimi It's a resort so dress code is always pretty casual. Service was amazing, the staff was wonderful. Quickly got seated without reservation. Will definitely eat here again!

Dee G.

Yelp
We had breakfast and dinner here and I can't say enough wonderful things about the food, ambiance and service! For dinner we had the most amazing skirt steak and in house made steak sauce! They have their own wine from napa valley which my husband enjoyed not to mention they made me a virgin pina colada which's as also devious! The lobster Mac n cheese side was amazing but very filling and rich so be hungry when you come for dinner! For breakfast they have a huge menu with lots of options for everyone! We split the breakfast burrito and enjoyed the fresh orange juice! The mocha latte was also delicious! Overall this was my favorite spot to dine at the resort And the staff was wonderful! Very attentive and peasant throughout our whole dining experience :)

Yelp
Hands down this place has one of the BEST steaks I've ever had in my life. The service was fast and attentive. We were able to get every dipping sauce for our steaks which was an awesome touch! We've already been back twice!

Paul K.

Yelp
First, the good parts: the view is spectacular and the staff are very friendly. Where this restaurant misses the mark is on the food. Tried the Jidori chicken yakitori entree. The chicken was overcooked, dry and hard as a rock - terrible. My wife had the Ahi tuna entree. It was quite good, but overly salty. We also shared the scallops and corn appetizer, which was decent, but they apparently salted the scallops. Good scallops should be sweet and succulent- not salty. This was our most disappointing meal on Lana'i.

Rob P.

Yelp
Food was good, but not great. However the service was very slow. So slow that we almost missed the shuttle back to the Sensai hotel. Had to rush through our main course and also weren't able to order dessert. We told the manager and he was rude, telling us we could pay $350 for a ride back to our hotel. Extremely disappointed! Whe. You pay that much for a meal, you expect first class service and we didn't anywhere to that... Save ya your money and go somewhere else?"!

Yelp
Lovely restaurant! Very satisfied as a resort restaurant onsite as one knows there's not many options! One Forty and Nobu are the two onsite restaurants at FS. Most impressed moment? The chef's control of salt. Everything was delightful and tasty without being oversalted. Especially the soup! Flavors are on point. I enjoyed the pasta dish and the venison. No complaints at all. Service was decent. We made a reservation day of (at check in) but they were able to seat us quickly and while some food came out slow, overall the staff was very pleasant.

Michael E.

Yelp
I am absolutely in love with everything about this restaurant--- the view of Manele Bay which is absolutely stunning day or night, the perfectly cooked dishes, the extravagant yet classy presentation, just to name a few things but what really inspired me to finally write this review after enjoying the restaurant at least 6 times was the service. Shout out to the staff who always treat us to friendly yet genuine service (at a lot of places it can feel forced and makes me feel uncomfortable). Ferlyn is the best! We love talking to her. She even remembered us from our last stay a year ago. All in all, do yourself a favor and dine here during the day or night. You can't go wrong!

Yelp
Placed an order at the front desk for room service to have it delivered to room. Waited an hour, called front desk. Nobody can confirm if the order was even placed. If you call the front desk to reserve, do not take there word for it. It might not even show up on the system and you are stuck ordering room service at another restaurant. I placed several orders from this place, no food was delivered. The lady at the front today at 7pm took my order, not sure what happened. My order disappeared? Where is the accountability? Someone in there team is not focused.

Yelp
During our stay at the Four Seasons Resort Lanai, we had breakfast and dinner at their signature restaurant, One Forty. Located in the lower lobby with a beautiful panoramic ocean view, they serve breakfast daily from 6:30am to 11am and dinner nightly from 6pm to 9:30pm. For breakfast, you can either order off the menu or choose their extensive breakfast buffet. I decided to order off the menu and had their unique Lana'i Eggs Benedict (Shaved Smoked Ham, Hollandaise Sauce, and Tomato Pineapple Chutney, served on a French Baguette). Absolutely delicious! I especially enjoyed the sweetness of the chutney in this savory dish. My husband chose the Breakfast Burrito (Scrambled Eggs, Chorizo, Spinach, Cilantro, Cheddar Cheese, Cotija Cheese, Spanish Rice, Sour Cream, Guacamole, and One Forty Lava Sauce) and also really liked it. The burrito was huge which was great because once my son got a bite, he kept asking for more. Unfortunately they don't offer steak on the children's dinner menu so we ordered three entrees: the island onaga, filet, and the wagyu. It's expensive so try not to look at the prices and enjoy your vacation on Lanai. The entrees were good, but what really stood out from the meal was the lobster mashed potato and chocolate soufflé. The chocolate soufflé was the best I have had and is huge. Definitely share it. The service at the restaurant is stellar and I love how they cater to families by offering a kids menu and coloring pages to keep them occupied.

Tara H.

Yelp
We had the pleasure of eating here for breakfast and dinner the majority of our stay. Breakfast was amazing and the wait staff was wonderfully accommodating of any of our asks. Some of our favorites were the avocado toast, brioche French toast, and the various omelettes. Also, the Kona coffee French press was the best coffee we've ever had! For dinner we enjoyed the ahi, seafood rigatoni (more seafood than pasta!!!), pan seared snapper, and the mushroom soup and lobster mashed potatoes are to die for!!! They also make a great old fashioned which was not on the menu but pursuant to our special request. Thank you one forty! We loved our vacation and your hospitality and food had a lot to do with it!!!

Yelp
The service is great and friendly. The view and the atmosphere is nice. We have ordered the venison, seafood tower, side order of garlic shrimp and the chocolate soufflé. This is my third night of venison. All of them are good but if I need to rate it. I would rate the venison from Lana'i Bar and Grill the best as the sauce and dry rub is super tasty, the second is Nobu's venison taboyaki and the one forty the least. The seafood tower and the garlic shrimp from One Forty is fresh so I would suggest to stick with seafood.

Yelp
Pan a drink for breakfast was greeted with a smile and seated immediately. Our server came over within a minute or so and took our order brought us coffee and was very polite and accommodating. I had the Fresh fruit bowl which was excellent and then I had the Lalani Benedict Which was made just perfect and if it was accommodated by salad slices of cheese and potatoes. All in all it was a very good experience I would recommend it to anybody they were staying in the Four Seasons hotel.

Kenneth J.

Yelp
Great dinner service, generous portions and good flavor. Kitchen could be a bit slow sometimes.

Yelp
It was good variety of food. Oysters were amazing, and get the black and blue sangria!

Dianne M.

Yelp
Everything was amazing -- from the delicious cocktails to soup & salad, blackened swordfish steak and chocolate soufflé. We split the fish entree which was plenty and so tasty! Oh, and the side of mac 'n cheese was perfectly creamy. Needless to say, we took home a bag of leftovers.

Yelp
If you're looking for a special dinner place with amazing views, rock star service, and killer food, One Forty is your place. Upon arriving we were greeted by our hostess who led us to our table with the most beautiful views overlooking the resort and a perfect view of the sunset. We started with some tropical cocktails and the seafood tower appetizer - highly recommend this if you love seafood as much as us! The variety and size of this dish makes it so worth it! Everything from the crab to shrimp to tuna was fresh was can be and we were surprisingly filled after devouring it. For entrees we got the lamb chops and lobster Mac and cheese - the lamb was exquisitely flavored and cooked just right and the Mac and cheese had large chunks of lobster in it! We were honestly too stuffed to order dessert but the chef surprised us by baking us a variety of sweet dishes as we were celebrating a few occasions! And man were they tasty - we finished them all! Overall a truly wonderful experiences Everyone at one forty went out of their way to make this meal so special and we couldn't be happier. Thank you to the chef and staff for a great night out!

Yelp
The view was amazing for having my birthday dinner at night, dim lighting, very intimate. You definitely have that luxurious feel. Will come back when back on the island! I had the opah, the lobster mash is to die for! And my love had the filet so yummy with champagne and free bday dessert!
google avatar

Kay H.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing dinner & gorgeous view. I had the steak on a sizzling platter, served with herb butter on top-delicious, The potatoes that came with it were so creamy, I hated to leave any! My husband had the fresh catch-he loved it. My Lana'iTai was delicious. and then we had the chocolate soufflé ~ a delicious dessert.

Cara C.

Yelp
Food here was pretty good. We ordered pancakes and a tofu scramble, which was pretty tasty. The pancakes were a little on the sweet side. I don't know what kind of syrup was served with it. One was maple, but I didn't really taste the maple. The other one tasted like it might be coconut but macadamia nut but it was just sweet too. The rice with the tofu scramble was a little over cooked and soggy, but the tofu scramble had a nice mixture of tofu, soybeans, mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, and spinach. The view from the patio was beautiful, but I think they have a sunroof above, which made the whole lanai area super hot. It closes at 11 am, so you might need to go somewhere else if you get there too late. Also, it's a little pricey, but you're paying for convenience and a place to eat.

Yelp
Expensive buffet but worth every penny. So many fresh fruits and pastries to choose from. You get what you pay for. Lol.

Yelp
My bf and I ate their breakfast buffet and it was good! Upon arrival the host said that our reservations were canceled, most likely by the restaurant because they don't do reservations for breakfast, instead they have a first come first serve policy. obviously, they didn't turn us down thankfully. We were then escorted to our table after being given the option to sit in the sun with a beautiful view or closer to the buffet in the shade. My boyfriend decided he wanted to sit in the shade. The entire hotel is very beautiful, so we weren't too surprised with the restaurant. Our server was very pleasant and attentive. she filled our waters and asked if we wanted coffee then informed us that half of the buffet items are made to order including the waffles, French toast, pancakes, and breakfast meats. we then ordered waffles and French toast, as well as a couple of breakfast meats. Everything was good when they brought it over to our table. By far the best French toast I've ever eaten, it was so soft and yummy! And I don't even like French toast! However, when we were waiting for our food in the kitchen we continued to observe the other options offered with the buffet. We were impressed to see some dim sum, sashimi (the salmon was amazing! i made myself a lox and bagel), your regular made to order omelettes, pastries, bread, fruit, parfaits, and more... I especially enjoyed the fresh juice and tried each one. it was so cute because they serve it in Mason jars. We did glance at the Ala cart options and we do recommend going with buffet because if you don't you'll pay $24 for French toast. by the way buffet the is $52 per person. overall, we were very full and happy with everything from the service to the atmosphere to the food. I did mention it to my boyfriend that the next time we're on lanai that we are coming back for breakfast!
google avatar

Nicole H.

Yelp
Be warned that if you are not staying at the resort, they will not allow you to eat here. Wish we had known that before driving out from our Airbnb in Lanai City, but the elitism makes us happy to give our money to a small, local restaurant instead.

Yelp
Okay, gas was like $5.60 or something ridiculous a gallon on Lana'i so you have to take the price to value ratio with a grain of salt. Luckily for me, we had brunch here after 2 days at Manele Bay so by this time we were somewhat acclimated to the hefty price tags you pay on the island, especially at a Four Seasons resort. The view was spectacular. Such wonderful ambiance, probably the best Sunday brunch view I have ever had. Service was friendly, yes, a little laid back but you are on Lana'i after all. I think the buffet price was $34, including fruits, yogurt, Brioche French Toast (my fave), pancakes, waffles and toppings, made to order omlettes, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, Asian offerings like miso soup, shumai, and gyoza, pastries and a cereal bar. Not the hugest buffet, but more than enough food. Ordered 2 glasses of champagne since it was our 1 year anniversary. Total with tip came to around $100. If you don't expect to get your "money's worth" relative to where you live, and remember you are on vacation you will have a good time. Lana'i luxury is pricey, but we had a lovely brunch and wondeful memories.
google avatar

Nat N.

Yelp
We came here for Sunday brunch with no reservation and 15 of us. Surprisingly, we only had to wait around 15 minutes for a table. Pretty impressive, considering there was another party of about 25 people already seated. From the seating area, you get a nice view of the pool and the ocean - a lovely backdrop for a Sunday brunch. I believe we had the option of ordering off the menu, or going for the buffet. My father-in-law was treating us all, and he insisted that we all hit the buffet. Shoots! The buffet has everything you'd expect - cereal, oatmeal, fruits, eggs, bacon, sausage, mini waffles made to order, bagels, toast, an omellete bar, mexican station, and pastries. What was noticeably absent was rice - no fried rice or white rice, so if you wanted rice, you had to eat spanish rice. The highlight for me were the made to order mini waffles. I LOVE waffles, especially when they come straight off the iron, that way the butter melts on top. Yum! I'm not sure how much it was per head, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was around $50 - it is, after all, the Four Seasons.

Yelp
We had dinner on Dec. 31 and March 13. Both times it was exceptional. The food was delicious and the prices were what you'd expect from a 5 star resort. Surprisingly their burger is cheaper and better than Lanai City Grille in the city. The service was beyond expectations. We were treated as if we were no other patrons and that we were very special. Both times, Jojo the manager checked on us to assure our experience was great. The servers were very accommodating. I highly recommend this restaurant.

J A.

Yelp
Food was good but service is horrible. Front receptionist is rude and waiters/waitress rush to take your plates away! Before you can finish your food. Not worth the $$$$

Kt B.

Yelp
Had two excellent dinners here. The mushroom soup was delicious. The spinach strapatti pasta was well seasoned. The cherry tomatoes and onions in it were great. The lobster was excellent. Breakfast buffet was great. Lots of choices. Food is really fresh. Banana bread was the best thing that ever happened to me. If you don't see it ask for it. The Danish pastries were served warm and the bottoms of them were chewy, buttery and carmelly. I liked that there are 3 types of coffee. All were excellent. The mixed drinks and teas were great. All the wines by glass we ordered were smooth.

Yelp
We enjoyed the breakfast buffet on arrival at the Four Seasons Resort. No reservations necessary for the buffet. If you've never been here before, there is both a buffet and an ala carte menu. The buffet runs about $52 and includes breads, fruit, omelet bar and a nice Japanese section with dumplings, congee, and poke. As part of the buffet, you can also order a selection of items from the ala carte menu. We had eggs benedict, salmon sandwich, egg burrito, and French toast. The French toast was a favorite for all of us. Next time, we likely order ala carte because I never feel like I get my money's worth from a buffet. Regardless, the food is good and you can't beat the view!

Dinner: let's start w this is some of the best service anywhere. We had chris two nights in a row and he is genuine, helpful and entertaining. Everyone else there is also great. The food is good- not great. We wished, given there are only two restaurant options, that there was more variety and that the food was a little better- nothing special and gets old. After 4 nights we felt like we were running out of places to eat and started to get bored w the menu. Breakfast: again, AMAZING service and people here. The breakfast is very good (extremely over priced but then again that's just something to get used to while staying here). Can't find a better view to start the day.

Yelp
Best breakfast on Lanai. Definitely opt of the buffet. Good choice of options from the buffet and the kitchen. The Bulgogi Bowl, Lanai Benedict, Salmon Sandwich, and crispy bacon are some must tries. Beautiful views. Friendly service.

Yelp
My wife and I had the chance to eat both here and at Nobu. Our favorite meal was definitely here at One Forty. The highlights were the king crab appetizer served in corn soup and the steak that we ordered. Both were cooked to perfection. I would definitely highly recommend this place for dinner. The brunch buffet was also great, especially if you're a big eater as it's all-you-can eat and drink (non-alcoholic) and includes all but one of the hot entrees.

Yelp
Had wanted to go to One Forty for a while. Since we were on Lanai, we went there on our last nite. Did not disappoint. Wonderful service, great table with wonderful views and the food was prepared excellently. Steak so tender, melted in my mouth. Highly recommend this restaurant for a wonderful experience. Estrella and Jo Ann were knowledgeable, courteous and attentive to our needs.

Yelp
My friend and I went to One Forty for brunch. The brunch buffet is realy nice with a lot of different options. Furthermore, you have a selection of different hot food you can order directly from the kitchen. Our waitress perlita was so nice and took good care of us! Would really recommend this place, the view and the people there are awesome! Next time hopefully for an overnight stay!

Yelp
We are staying at the resort and have had breakfast at 140 a few times and all experiences have been fabulous! The wait staff is beyond friendly and attentive to our needs, even offering iced tea to go with each meal. :) We highly recommend the Loco Moco and their Breakfast Burrito and you must ask for a side of their '140 sauce' .... Super yummy!

Yelp
This is a great spot for breakfast at the Four Seasons Lanai. Like all other restaurants at this resort, the food is pricey but delicious. We did not do the buffet ($48) but rather opted for a la cartel items, which included the breakfast burrito and the French toast. Both were excellent!! Service was good as well, quick refills on water and coffee when needed. Total bill was around $80 with tip included. Definitely a great place to go for breakfast!

Yelp
This is some of the best hotel cuisine I've ever had. We dined for both breakfast and dinner and were pleased with both. Breakfast: The banana macadamia stuffed french toast is a can't miss. The brioche french toast is AWESOME and all of accoutrements just add to the deliciousness. Oh yeah, coconut syrup on french toast is amazing. The lana'i breakfast was also quite good. Dinner: It seemed like with every course the food just got increasingly better. We started with the corn soup which was tasty. The entrees we ordered--both fish dishes--were divine. The fish was perfectly cooked and the sides were great. The macaroni and cheese was ridiculously delicious. We were so enamored with it that we took it back to our room and ate it cold the next morning (it was still awesome, btw). Drinks: The cocktails at One Forty were the best we had at either of the Four Seasons the entire trip. The after-dinner coffee cocktails are a perfect way to end dinner. If you are staying at the Four Seasons Manele Bay, disregard the negative reviews. Please have dinner at One Forty, you will not be sorry.
