Wat Pho

This temple is famous for big Buddha at Samadhi position or sleeping state. Royal family's remains are placed as pillars in the campus. It is said that Thai massage is invented here and still in practice. Yoga position statue are placed here to show the positions to practice for healthy life. Crocodile park is also beautiful place to take pic. Few places you will find smoke is coming, locals call it as magic.

I will be honest here. This is a must visit when it is your first time to Bangkok. It isn’t the great temple it use to be though. It’s one big money making business these days. If there are ATM machines and an Amazone café in a temple, you can bet that it’s made to make money roll. The temple is also way too over crowded and not very well taken care of in some places. For all the money that is being spend here on a daily basis you would expect it to look exquisite. But as I said before… it is a must visit for first timers in BKK for sure.

Superbe ! Un complexe à ne pas manquer ! De multiples temples et bouddhas et lieux de beauté avec nature, fontaines etc. Toilettes, cafétéria, astrologues, on est aussi dans un parc à ciel ouvert. Nombreuses sculptures à scruter de près, de par leur valeur exceptionnelle.
