I made a booking with this hotel but had to cancel less than two hours later after realising my wife had suddenly become very unwell. To my surprise, the hotel refused to issue any kind of refund or even partial credit, stating that I had booked a “non-cancellation” room type. While I understand that policies exist, what was shocking to me was the complete lack of empathy and compassion shown in the circumstances.||We weren’t trying to game the system or cancel for convenience, it was a genuine medical situation. Even Booking.com, through whom I made the reservation, were prepared to waive their commission to help, but the hotel still declined to do the right thing.||This experience has left a very sour impression. For me, true hospitality is not just about rooms and amenities but also about treating guests with basic understanding. Unfortunately, this hotel failed badly on that front. I would strongly advise others to think carefully before booking here, especially if you value customer care and flexibility.
