"Mullaloo Beach, Northern Suburbs by Zebra. Mullaloo Beach is a clean, family-friendly beach patrolled by the lifeguards from Mullaloo Surf Life Saving Club. You’ll always feel safe swimming here, which is worth noting as some Perth beaches do have some scary rips, oh, and the odd shark.Mullaloo is one of our favourite beaches in the area, which is saying a lot as we also have so many impressive beaches, stretching from Trigg and North Beach all the way up to Quinns and Yanchep in the north. We’re pretty much spoilt for choice."

Yelp
All the way in Perth I tried this lovely place by the beach and it was a must do if you are a visitor in the area. The food is delicious, they have alot of options, and everything was tasty. Wouldn't call this an exceptional experience (other than the lovely view). It's quite busy so that makes it a little loud inside so wouldn't call this a romantic place but more of a hip/fun experience. Good service, food comes out pretty quick too.

Yelp
A pity that the barman was excellent but thetableswerenot being cleaned between clientele. Tables sticky and revolting. Needs a good clean

Yelp
Mullaloo Beach Hotel is located on Oceanside Promenade, looking out to the over the picturesque coastline. The Décor on the inside and outside in gentle on the eyes unfortunately I can't say that about the patrons. For such a beautiful location and nice looking Hotel/Bar/Restaurant it sure does attract a number of Bogans. Unfortunately this does actually ruin the place for me. The Service is decent, the tunes are average if you like 92.9's top 20 then you would love it and the food and drinks are decent at average prices. The Sunday Sesh is very popular, always overcrowded so don't bother if you're looking for a chilled out mellow Sunday Afternoon/Evening. Such a shame that such a spectacular spot is wasted on a terrible crowd.

Yelp
This place could be amazing, in the perfect location opposite one of Perth's nicest beaches, newly decorated and open everyday. So why have I given MBH a 1 star rating? I understand there is no way I can hear your response and to be honest its me asking a question to myself. Either way, here is the answer. The crowd, the bar staff and the music (if we can call it that) is the basic answer. I know others will say differently, in fact judging by the cramped in friday nights and the packed out sunday sessions, I'd say a few people disagree with me. Durning the day and some week nights the bar can be nice, watch the sunset on the balcony and enjoy the quiet. Its a whole different place on the weekend, a place that I would avoid. Unless you like poor music, mixed by a poor DJ, a rowdy crowd with fights out the front and full of 'slutty' girls. If that sounds like your idea of a party then MBH is perfect for you! The other side of MBH is a restaurant and it is just lovely! It is a real shame that the bar side and restaurant side are part of the same place. MBH also holds events such as 'Miss Mullaloo' and 'Who looks best in a cocktail dress'. showing girls parading down a run-way in front of a crowd of mainly middle aged men dressed in their fluro work tops, and shouting things at the 'girls' and wolf whistling. Another classy aspect to this bar. Honestly if I was you, I would stay away from that place.

Yelp
I love the view of this place, but seriously it is so expensive and not worth the price. I paid $25 for the smallest burger in the world and it wasn't that great. A main is around $35, which I find absolutely insane considering what came out. I will not be returning for a while.

Yelp
When I first met my wife 22 years ago we lived next to the OLD Mullaloo pub. It was great. Bar fights, cold beer, bikies, steak sangers, police - the lot! So now it's all of the above with a few more frocks around and TVs with the footy on. We live around the corner, so it's the go to. Food's pretty good, beers are cold still, steak sangers are a bit more fancy and exxy. But we like it and we keep coming. Mullaloo is not overly blessed with joints to eat out at... Come and have a look, just don't stare too long at the locals across the bar. They're still feisty and memories of the downstairs pool bar brawls in the old joint still resonate...

Yelp
I would not bother going here. I ordered the burger and a drink tonight. Charged $17.00 (happy hour). No burger arrived and when I questioned where it was, I was told that it had not been ordered or charged. Ordered another burger for $10 which eventually arrived. Either a beer for $17 during happy hour is a total rip off, or being charged for 2 burgers when I only received 1 is also a rip off. Decide for yourselves.

Yelp
Let's be honest. Sunday session is never usually what we make it out to be in our heads. We imagine cool beers on a hot Sunday sitting at a table with your friends overlooking the ocean. If that's everything you want in a Sunday sesh, DON'T GO TO MBH. Repeat, DO NOT GO TO MBH. It's hot, cramped, full to the brim with yobbos and there is never usually a table free. The best experience I have ever had in the bar section is winning a free midori key chain that lights up. End of cool stories about MBH. Directly next door, however, is the adjoining restaurant wherein my friend and I found solace when dragged out to another suck sesh. The hot chips and aioli actually make it worthwhile going to Mullaloo. If I am ever going to go back to MBH it will be for those chips. Now, I don't know if I'm bigging them up in my head in relation to the relative shitness of the bar but all I know is that day they were absolutley fabulous.

Yelp
Never have a function here, staff have no idea. It took 3 hours to have an incredibly simple fixed menu (chicken wings, steak sandwich, icecream) highly over priced. They changed the menu that looked good after securing the booking to be not worth it $49. No management or anyone who knew what they were doing even sighted. They did not have air conditioner working in summer and did not provide fans until 2 hours later when we complained. Water provided was warm not cooled. They refused to take full food choices up front despite our request which made food service take exceptionally long. Highly disorganised, hot, uncomfortable and very basic food not worth the price. Would never waste my money there again. Ruined our Christmas work party. Go somewhere else. So disappointed

Yelp
If your looking for a great view and a cold beer it is not to bad. Not Perths best but also not its worst, but does charge a bit of a premium for drinks. Yes it does get cramped and yes it gets blaring sun at sunset.

Yelp
This place is appalling. When we arrived it was not cleaned. Dust everywhere. The carpets were not cleaned, glitter and sequins still on the floor. The bathroom sink was blocked. We heard noises from pub below, and a function above a. When we checked out, three days later they deducted our account $500 bond and told us this was to pay for cleaning of the carpets (unclean in the first place), house keeping and for noise. I am warning anyone thinking of staying here, the owners run a bad business, do not part with your money or credit card details. They will take your money off you like they did to us.

Yelp
Great views out to the ocean but everything else is over rated and way to expensive. The decor and service has gone downhill and so has the food.Been there many times over the years but if they don't change the outrageous prices and get it together I'm not going back...

Yelp
Not even a partial view of the ocean could make up for the ripped off feeling we were left with. We ordered fish tacos and chicken tacos, 2 of each for $32 ie. $8 per taco. When they finally arrived 45 min later ( the place was relatively quiet), we couldn't believe how small they were... only 3 small mouthfuls each. Won't be returning in a hurry.

Yelp
Not sure if this has changed recently as the decor is quite different - had breakfast here for Mother's Day, not great. Servings were a little small and options pretty basic. Have had great dinners here in the past so maybe it was an off day.

Yelp
I like to try the steak sandwich atleast once at each pub I've visited. Had the open beef sandwich here and was alright but for $18.90 for a pub lunch bit steep as I've enjoyed cheaper and better from a lot of others around this area. No bacon but the chili chutney was different. Would rather bacon. I'm reviewing the steak sandwich not the place. The place is fine.

Yelp
Avoid on a Sunday at all costs if you are over 21, have any class and don't want to get your face punched in. Beautiful location overlooking Mullaloo Beach and park - but the clientele are just awful. Saying that - I have been there on a Saturday night and it was much quieter and the sunset was gorgeous. The restaurant side is great for a casual dinner.

Yelp
After checking out the reviews before our girls lunch I wasn't too excited about returning to this venue after a few years. Interesting new decor with the view of course bring the winning focal point. Not too sure about the sacks on the ceiling though. Nervous about my food choice after the many negative reviews I went for the steak sandwich which after an hour wait was pretty tasty- and by then I was certainly hungry. The other girls were also pretty happy with their meals but all agreed the service was pretty poor with the time delay and no staff on the floor to clear dishes etc. On a positive note, it was a better experience than I was expecting and perhaps after reading some of the reviews the venue might make a few changes to make this a great venue.

Yelp
Been several times, primarily for friends visiting and its location. Food is very good but the noise is oppressive - it has all the ambience of eating in a chicken barn. It would be ideal for deaf people though. Service is virtually non-existent. Have to order and pay up front these days. Unlikely to go again.

Yelp
Great quality food, size for price is excellent. Friendly service and great location across from the beach. Pretty small inside for a rainy day but in summer the balcony is really nice

Yelp
Unfortunately I have to give it three stars due to the poor service. Chef is outstanding and you must try the mushroom bruschetta- soooooooo delish. Food is awesome, view is amazing, now if they could just figure out how to provide a decent service experience.

Yelp
We have been to the Mullaloo Hotel Restaurant many times and up until the last time had always found it fantastic with great food and the best views. We have been once before since they changed the interior decoration and that was not quite so good. Today my wife and whole family of 11 went for a Fathers Day brunch and we would not go back again. The menu was certainly not value for money, there was a delay for some reason with my wife's and my meal and the bagel that my wife ordered was so hard she could not cut it or even eat it. It was supposed to be a multi seeded bagel and was in fact white bread with a half a dozen poppy seeds on top. The menu said "tomatoes" on several dishes we ordered and we all got a half a tomato. Obviously they are not chasing business.

Yelp
We went here today for a nice relaxing lunch and it was so disappointing, the service was crap and the food was terrible, in fact there was 4 of us and the other 3 have been sick since we came back, the food was cold and undercooked and when we explained this to the staff, they didn't care.. Will NEVER return and will tell everyone I know DO NOT go here for food,

Yelp
Lunch today on a glorious sunny winter's day. Whilst this is our local we don't come here often as we never seem to have a very positive or memorable experience. Today we found things had changed yet again. Take a menu, seat yourself and order/pay at bar. Food is delivered to your table. Lunch menu special was a bit confusing but good value at $29 with drink, entre & main but no explaination of the "house" wine & beer choice or entre choice listed as "chefs daily special" with no one around to help & no chalkboard listing the daily special - this needs to be sorted out. Drinks menu lacks enough local options especially no Aussie champagne. With that said I chose the fish tacos which I loved for $16. Fresh & light. The lunch special Mumm french champagne for $12 instead of $15 as listed on the main drinks menu came in a suspiciously petite glass. For dessert I chose an espresso martini which was nicely presented but the 4 coffee beans at the bottom were soggy.

Yelp
I can not believe the reviews that have been displayed regarding the MBH, as for the person who mentioned the fluro shirts i suggest you have never been to the MBH. Yes the bar is busy and the restaurant is fantastic so it should suit every body maybe you are better off being at the Craigie where the beer is cheap, there is no music and the girls arent slutty, as there is none.

Yelp
I last came here when it was called Panorama and it was good. Came here tonight (called driftwood) and it was sub par. Service is non existent, you now order at the bar. Ordered 2 beers, starters and mains at 1905. Had to head back up to the bar after 13 minutes to find out where our beers were, despite half the tables empty. The squid and scallops starters met the standard when they turned up. The main took about 50 minutes to arrive after the starters which is not good enough. They may have made money on the drinks we bought while waiting but it was a pyrrhic victory. The prawn linguine, that Toni ordered, and my steak sandwich mains were tasteless (In fairness I'd had a cram burger from Alfreds Kitchen the night before.) My partner's family are Calabrese and she's a fantastic cook so low flavour pasta dishes earn 0 points. She tipped the whole little bowl of shaved parmesan on the linguine just to give it some flavour. C'mon no coarse chopped parsley or a little anchovy to throw in? Bland AF. Won't be returning.
