Perfect Location for Walkers: Great hostel for solo travelers! I walked everywhere – Freedom Square, Old Town, and Rustaveli Avenue. The beds are comfy, and the staff is super helpful and amazing. Highly recommend!

This hostel was a little oasis within Tbilisi. Pushkin 10 is no party hostel but was still quite social which is perfect as it's dead in the centre and close to bars and clubs so you can party at instead. You do have to climb up quite a number of stairs to reach it and there is no lift. Check in is super easy and they email you ahead of time with all the instructions including an entry code for the front door lock. This made the hostel seem a lot more secure and I felt safe. The reception is pretty much available all the time. There were two shower/toilet combination bathrooms and one toilet that we're all kept clean and despite having a number of beds and people staying at the hostel you weren't waiting long to use them. They were kept reasonably clean. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment and relatively clean. The free tea and coffee was fabulous (try the fruit tea if they still have it!). The bedrooms were clean and well organized. The beds gave the most amount of privacy I've ever experienced at a hostel. Once you closed the curtains it felt like you had your own little space and it made a huge difference at the end of a busy day. I will say, the mattresses were quite firm and I personally didn't find them comfortable but I'm just fragile and like a softer bed. If you book a bed with Pushkin you won't be disappointed. Definitely consider this hostel if you're in Tbilisi.

Great location with decent staff, there's also a nice little balcony overlooking the street with views of liberty square. However, the beds in this place are awful. Honestly the worst bed I slept in during my two weeks in Georgia, it was like sleeping on a wooden board. Don't recommend staying here unless you love really hard beds.

Living in this hostel was quite a low point in my journey. I must give credit to the great location and staffs who were present and tried their best to remediate the situation but three facts remain to be true and problematic during my stay. 1. Cockroaches in the kitchen at all times Living in a hostel, I do not have the highest expectations for hygiene. Having cockroaches from time to time is just what happens. But whenever I look at this kitchen, there will be cockroaches. I did not feel comfortable eating in the kitchen. 2. Bed bug bites starting from my 2nd night After I told them about the issue, the staff did not offer any compensation. It was not that they did not have another bed, but it was that it was a single room and they said I had to pay extra to sleep in there. I don’t think it was fair when the hostel’s bed bugs were the reason why I needed to change my bed. (I came directly from my own home, not another hostel or another country, so I am quite sure I did not bring the bed bugs) On the third night, they finally put me in another room, but it was mixed gender, and again they offered no compensation, despite this was not I booked. Their attitude was ‘You can either live in this room with bed bug or you can move to this room. Your choice.’ 3. Some guest pulled out a knife during an argument in the common area This was honestly an unfortunate event and I cannot blame the hostel but they continued to let the person who pulled out the knife to sleep in the mixed gender room. But after witnessing that person threatening others with an actual knife, I would be lying if I say I was not concerned at all. Again, the hostel staff were sympathetic, but in terms of practical help, I was pretty much on my own.

Best hostel I have ever stayed! When I came there the first day, it was such a warm welcome. The owner and the staff are some amazing people, and you can really rely on them! The location of the hostel is perfect, all the important things are on walking distance. The hostel also has all the facilities you need, for example doing some cooking or laundry. The best thing for me was the common room! It’s big, and I have met some incredible people there, and I will definitely come back when I visit Tbilisi again!
