10 of Pushkin

I had an amazing time at this hostel meeting other travelers. The location is perfect and staff very nice and helpful. I stayed at the female dorm. I love that they have coffee available and a cozy kitchen and seating area.

Do NOT stay here. I don’t know why it has such a high rating. The building itself is creepy as hell. I arrived at 5am and there was a guest in his boxers at the front desk. I was helped and shown my room in the 8 bed dorm. It looked like the had already been slept in. I left for the bathroom and when I came back the guy in his boxers was with the manager and he was shining his flashlight looking for more bed bugs. I looked at his bed and he had two dark red blood stains on his sheets from the bugs he had just killed. The manager said he could move to the top bunk. I didn’t feel comfortable at all. Between the creepy entrance, the musty smell, the other weird guests, the already slept in bed and now bed bugs. Hell NO!!! The hostel itself is in a good location but transportation is cheap cheap and you’ll use transit to go to other places in the city anyway. Find a different place. Hostel 10 and Aleksandria are also in the same creepy building.

We stayed at the hostel twice, at the beginning and end of our trip, in the 8-bed dorm and really appreciated the friendly, clean, and welcoming atmosphere. During our second stay, there was an unexpected issue (nothing the hostel could have done to prevent it), but the way the team handled it was very professional, understanding, and fair. We felt well taken care of and would definitely stay here again on our next visit.

10/10. It’s the kindest hostel I’ve been to. The receptionist Ilya is super sweet, kind and helpful. People in the hostel are decent, no one shouts or steals. Everyone cleans. The location is absolutely great. Very safe. The beds are comfortable and every bed has a socket. The hostel has a really good paper guide on what to see in the city and where to eat. I would absolutely stay here again.

BED BUGS. I stayed a week and saw some mosquitos, so I thought the bites I had were mosquito bites. Bed bug bites can take days to show up so I just didn’t know. But then I saw them. I told the owner and by his reaction it was obvious he knows. I’m quite pissed that he just said “ohh.. okay. Thank you” :/ I have over 50 bites on my body and feel absolutely miserable. I have never had chicken pox, but I would imagine it feels something like this. Plus, now have to go through the hassle of checking and sanitizing all my things (sorry for my unshaved leg, but here you are so this hopefully doesn’t happen to you.)

Great location, clean and large rooms with a great common area and kitchen. Bathrooms got a little busy but that’s the only little downside. Very nice staff and free towels witch is rare

This hostel was a little oasis within Tbilisi. Pushkin 10 is no party hostel but was still quite social which is perfect as it's dead in the centre and close to bars and clubs so you can party at instead. You do have to climb up quite a number of stairs to reach it and there is no lift. Check in is super easy and they email you ahead of time with all the instructions including an entry code for the front door lock. This made the hostel seem a lot more secure and I felt safe. The reception is pretty much available all the time. There were two shower/toilet combination bathrooms and one toilet that we're all kept clean and despite having a number of beds and people staying at the hostel you weren't waiting long to use them. They were kept reasonably clean. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment and relatively clean. The free tea and coffee was fabulous (try the fruit tea if they still have it!). The bedrooms were clean and well organized. The beds gave the most amount of privacy I've ever experienced at a hostel. Once you closed the curtains it felt like you had your own little space and it made a huge difference at the end of a busy day. I will say, the mattresses were quite firm and I personally didn't find them comfortable but I'm just fragile and like a softer bed. If you book a bed with Pushkin you won't be disappointed. Definitely consider this hostel if you're in Tbilisi.

Perfect Location for Walkers: Great hostel for solo travelers! I walked everywhere – Freedom Square, Old Town, and Rustaveli Avenue. The beds are comfy, and the staff is super helpful and amazing. Highly recommend!
