100 Montaditos

Good place to eat something fast and cheap. It is ways a good place to have some beers or soft drinks with friends. Additionally, it is around the city so you can find more than one. It offer some sandwiches, burgers or other type of snacks. Nice place to chill.

This chain is good for a catch-up. It’s the same menu everywhere and it’s cheap. If your looking for five star food then this is not really for you, but if your looking for a catch-up with some snacks then this one will be a good choice. It’s cheap and the service is always fast. The lady that served us here was great. Enjoy x

One star because the Palomitas were very good. I went so many times, but was never treated like this. I speak good Spanish, but was asking the waiter for help as I wanted to try two special montaditos, but I don’t eat meat. Well, you can see on the picture that one was with jam and the other with a sausage! When I told him that, he didn’t care and told me that this is not “carne”. Look at the picture! He didn’t do anything. Zero customer service! Spent more money for the trash, thanks!!

A few days ago, after I got in line to order, the bartender told me off because apparently I didn't follow the markings on the floor. He was right, although the signs were in a pretty bad shape which makes knowing what to do and the exact way to do it a little tricky, but we ALL should have formed the line according to such markings and people there were doing it wrong already, long before I arrived. Plus, he was pretty rude about it. I understand he probably must deal with this kind of situation many times a day since nobody walks in a bar looking down to find some markings and is probably a little sick and tired of telling people the same things all day long but manners and humility are never unwelcomed. And please, fix those signs if you want to tell off customers properly and with good reason next time.

Cheap beer and a big selection of fairly cheap tapas.

Totally underrated! This is a nice place to go for some local sandwiches and/or coffee. I was kind of surprised how cheap the sandwiches until they arrived. Okay so yes; they’re small. But at only €1-2 euro each for almost 100 different options, you really can’t complain. I recommend getting the “board” selection so you can have four small finger sandwiches. You can easily mix and match of course. No English menu unless you go online. Thankfully the shopkeeper spoke great English and called my name when my order was ready. Great experience!

I absolutely love this place. Madrid is my dream city and 100 montaditos contributes a lot for this. I stumbled upon it by accident and now it’s just THE place. 100 options in the menu plus nachos, manzanilhas and others - topped with a sangria. AMAZING!
