100 Rizes Seaside Resort, an SLH Hotel

I can hardly believe we have been back just over 4 weeks from 100 Rizes, it still feels like yesterday. I close my eyes and I am standing on our terrace outside our room, as the sun is rising, watching a fishing boat in the bay below. I feel a welcome warmth on my face and a breeze ripples the surface of our own pool ( a beautiful surprise). |The air is filled with bird song coming from every tree and fragrant shrub that surrounds the suites of the hotel. This is my favourite time, savouring the sweet anticipation of another day in paradise.|I delight in the thought of a solitary, early morning swim in the crystal, clear sea, followed by a scrumptious breakfast on the restaurant terrace overlooking the hotel pool and the azure sea, a few steps beyond the ancient olive trees. I might read a few chapters or even write some, I might doze on the comfortable loungers right by the sea and have Anastasis or Panos bring me a cooling drink. I won't think about the evening because I know I am going to eat beautiful food whether in the hotel or elsewhere. So at the start of this day, I am happy and content. |There is a kind of magic in the air here, weaving a spell in and around you that I still feel here in England. |The staff are part of that charm, all are exceptional and so incredible, professional, friendly and welcoming. They are lead by one of the best Hotel Manager's I have ever encountered - Fay. Her enthusiasm and hard work affects everyone around her. |I did seriously think of not doing a review and keeping this exquisite little hotel my secret! I honestly can't wait to go again.

This is a very special place to get away from it all. Based on the reviews I believe they have made some changes for this season (including a lot of new staff). ||The food is exceptional, the breakfast is an over the top buffet with hot options, lots of traditional Greek options (omg the greek yogurt and fresh bread) and juice/coffee. Would highly recommend an iced latte or coffee Freddo. The dinner option at the restaurant is very nice. We ate here both nights and had the opportunity to meet the chef. Would highly recommend. We enjoyed a lot of special touches from the staff. Like other places in Greece, the service culture is to not bother you (which takes some getting used to if you are from North America) but don’t be afraid to ask for anything you need. ||The room was immaculate and the room cleaning during the stay was very good. They replaced our beach towels which was just a nice touch of attention to detail.||The beach is beautiful with tons of seating and the water is calm and shallow. ||An upgrade to a room with a private pool is a nice luxury but not necessary as the public facilities are very nice. ||I know you are on vacation but wake up for a sunrise if you can, it was a highlight of our stay. ||You are about 20 minutes from 2 towns but definitely off the beaten path. This is a magical place, I hope to be back one day.

The actual review should be 10 out of 5! Everything was absolutely perfect! The politeness kindness and expertise of the hotel staff was incredible! Even though we stayed only for 3 days we are definitely coming back! A big thank you and congratulations to all of you!

This review is a bit late, as we visited late May. It wasn't a terrible stay; the staff were generally pleasant, the location is lovely, the bed comfortable, but, at least at the time we were there, this property needed some work. The devil was in the details- no one asked to help us with luggage, despite lots of stairs and lots of staff around. The beach chairs were a mess and badly needed replacement. The handle fell off our bathroom door, the toiletries had been used, drinking glasses not clean, etc. There was a bright green exit light over the door that shone all night- why?There mysteriously was a hob in the room, but no dishes or anything to cook with. For an SLH property, it just fell short.

After our recent stay at 100 Rizes resort I would highly recommend to others. Their private beach is absolutely amazing, with rooms and facilities just as good. Service at the establishment was also exceptional, we had the pleasure of being serviced by Anastasios and Dimitrios, attending to our every need during the afternoon on the beach as well as through dinner service. They were both attentive, friendly, hard working and well suited personalities for their positions. Would love to see this establishment invest more in training of their staff though, to bring the resort into a competitive class on an international level, which could easily be achieved with such dedicated staff. It was a lovely stay and we’d definitely revisit again during our next trip.

My stay at 100 Rizes Seaside Resort was nothing short of exceptional due its service/ staff. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality that truly elevated the experience. The staff were outstanding, gracious, accommodating, and always ready to help with a smile. A heartfelt shoutout to the incredible managers Fay and Thanos, whose presence and attentiveness made all the difference. The resort’s location is a dream—tucked into the rugged Mani landscape with its own private beach, offering a sense of serenity and seclusion.

We had an amazing time. The personnel is extremely polite and friendly, the location is lovely, with a private beach, pool, restaurant and everything you keee to really relax. Special thanks to Fay, the hotel manager, for making us feel really at home.

We have been to slh group hotels before and this did not meet the standard. On arrival it ticked the boxes of looking the part, but as time moved on .. the luster got lost.|The junior suite room was pretty .. basic. The shutters did not have latches, the shower leaked (& flooded) the paint was peeling. The mattress was pretty worn on one side, resulting in rolling downhill whilst sleeping. |The breakfast was annoying - you had to order drinks ( juices & coffee) which was soo much trouble for the 1 server when she eventually got to you. But g-d forbid you try pour your own water!|The facilities were there but clearly not for everyone's taste - pool was empty, gym was empty, spa not used, lounge a ghost village.|Location was far off the beaten track with minimal nearby - no minimarket, taverna or coffee bar nearby. And certainly no recommendations. ||Look, I got to relax, I slept comfortably, I had a feed. But I do not think I got what I paid for!
