Really a must-do if one is on the area. Be aware the nice view - and it is magnificent - is not cheap. With tax entrance for four people is nearly $80. You can spend as long as you want though, on the three viewing decks. The elevator operates every 10 minutes.

The 1000 Islands Tower is definitely a must-do experience. The staff are extremely friendly and courteous, making the visit even more enjoyable. The teller in the observatory was both friendly and funny, adding a personal touch to the experience. They also have a nice gift shop with a good selection of souvenirs. Although the building is old, it is well maintained and clean.

Views are good but pretty $$$$ for what you get. We were there for about 20 minutes in total. Place needs better upkeep. Coin operated viewfinders were broken on each level and looked like they’ve been abandoned for years . Views from the top are obviously nice but value for money is limited. I guess everyone can do it once. Also need to pay a toll from the Canadian side to use the bridge to get there adding to the overall cost of excursion.

Great view of the 1000 islands from the top of the tower. Alex the host at the top was a very friendly guide with lots of information. Can spend easily 20-30 minutes at the top.

The tower offers a spectacular views of the islands. The place is looking a bit dated, and in need of renovations, but the service was excellent, and the people friendly. They even have an expert at the top of the tower answering questions about the area. He was very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is passing by.

If you're planning a trip to the 1000 Islands region, a visit to the 1000 Islands Tower is a must. Located on Hill Island, the tower offers breathtaking panoramic views of one of the most beautiful natural landscapes in North America. Standing at 400 feet tall, the observation deck provides a stunning 360-degree view of the islands, the St. Lawrence River, and the surrounding areas of both Canada and the U.S. It’s a sight that truly gives you a sense of the vastness and unique layout of this region. The elevator ride to the top takes less than a minute, and once you’re up there, the views are nothing short of spectacular. There are three observation decks, including an open-air platform that allows you to take in the fresh air and uninterrupted scenery. Informational signs help identify the islands and landmarks you’re seeing, and the staff is friendly and happy to answer questions. It’s a fantastic spot for photography, especially at sunrise or sunset. Whether you're a nature lover, history enthusiast, or just someone looking for a peaceful scenic stop, the 1000 Islands Tower is worth the visit. Don’t forget your camera and binoculars—and try to go on a clear day for the best experience!

You can see the islands at the top of the tower. To make the visit even more appealing talk to the guide, Alex! He knows so much and loves sharing his knowledge. I think our visit was very much worth it because we talked to him and got a lot information. Highly recommend going to this place! Also since its a privately owned place, I made sure i bought something from the store downstairs. These photos were taken on a day with low visibility due to forest fires

Google
Definitely worth visiting especially during the fall season. Surprised that it was not crowded at all.. If you are coming from Canadian side be ready to pay a toll for $5 on the way (not required during return)

Yelp
Interesting place it's been here for years and was and always a treat to stop and get some good views of the thousand Islands area. Elevator ride to the top was pleasant and very fast. I remember this place is a kid I enjoyed it done and I enjoy it now some 50 years later. John on the observation deck very helpful and knowledgeable one different areas to look at and history of different things in the area. He mentioned some other places that we should check out while we are in the area and we are grateful for his suggestions we had a great time at the first railway tunnel in Canada up in Brockville. definitely worth a stop and we look forward to another visit some other time.

Yelp
The service is absolutely wonderful and chef does an amazing job. The views are absolutely beautiful. Definitely worth the price.

Yelp
The best thing about the tower was the guide. He (John) was totally into the trivia of the area and seemed to know everything thoroughly. The facility and tower itself seems to be suffering from too few visitors. The paint needs refreshing, the store is full of unremarkable gifty things, and the manager seemed to be having a bad day. The views are excellent - 100 miles on the clear day we were there. Make use of the guide to understand more about the beauty and history of the area

Yelp
For $11 per person, it's worth stopping for. You'll get to see some of the islands from high above. It might be prettier if you come during fall season when there's foliage. We came during July 4th weekend, so everything is green. Surprisingly, it wasn't crowded. We were the only ones up on the tower. 10 mins is enough time to spend there. The guide was trying to show us where Boldt Castle is located but the trees cover most of it.

Yelp
I confirmed with the cashier 3 times that we could take the exterior stairs before paying the $11 to go up, she confirmed. After she took our money she advised the stairs were for emergencies only. We asked another clerk why they don't advise this before payment and she said there was a notice on the stairs, however the entrance for the stairs are on the other side of the building, so there's no way for anyone to know this. Would not have spent $11 per person if I knew it was just to take an elevator, this should be better advertised.
