We lived at 1000M for roughly 6 months shortly after the building opened. Units are cute and clean, the artwork in common areas is very aesthetic, location is great, and the gym is certainly worth it for any avid gym-goers. I’m sure amenities are all up and running by now, so I can’t speak to the quality of those.
However, we broke our lease 6 months early for multiple reasons. The AC units broke/turned off in the middle of the night if we set the temperature lower than 66 (we are cold sleepers). We woke up almost every single night to a hot and humid apartment because the AC unit would just stop working after an hour or two. They even replaced our AC unit but we still ran into the same issue. We were then told the units don’t go that low, but we’ve never had this problem in any apartment we’ve ever lived in, and don’t think it should’ve been a problem in a luxury building. Their built-in curtains are also only light filtering, so if you need a completely dark room to sleep, this will not be the apartment for you. The dishwashers don’t dry the dishes, regardless of what setting you use, so they’re essentially pointless. The dryer also required multiple rounds to get our clothes dry. Lastly, we moved in 1 month after the building opened, and had to move parking spaces 3 times because our spot was given to other residents who moved in after us. After voicing all of this, we still had to pay $5,500 to move out.
I’m giving them 2 stars because the staff was always pleasant. Maybe things have changed and improved since we moved out, but strongly consider the things mentioned if you’re going to pay the prices they’re asking for.
