The view is beautiful, but the food is average at best. The real disappointment is the wine selection. They serve extremely cheap options, including M Minuty for the rosé and a Gavi that you can buy in Italy for less than 20 AED in a supermarket. These are wines suitable for a light aperitivo, but they have zero complexity and are absolutely not appropriate for a supposedly premium brunch.
The service is genuinely terrible. They even brought the children’s plates without cutlery. They kept forgetting orders, and any additional request was simply ignored. This level of service might be common in some parts of Europe, but in Dubai, and especially in a luxury hotel, it is completely unacceptable. The overall impression is that management does not care at all. The restaurant was almost empty during peak season, which should be a clear warning sign.
I have lived in Dubai for five years, and if there is one thing you can normally rely on, it is excellent service. That belief disappeared the moment I walked into this restaurant. Despite the high expectations, the service was appalling. It took four hours for the brunch to be served, and we did not even reach the dessert. We had to leave before it arrived.
To make matters worse, our table became fully exposed to the sun after just thirty minutes, and I ended up with half of my face almost burned. The staff seemed completely lost and disorganised, which probably explains why the entire brunch area was nearly empty. I highly doubt that I am the first person to walk away disappointed.
I will not return, and I strongly discourage anyone who expects even a minimal standard of quality, service, and professionalism.
