This place is amazing. The service was excellent. They had a record player playing music with a selection of records next to it. It looked like one corner was set up for live music/performances. They had bulletin board advertising local musicians and artists. I loved the vibe of this place. I will definitely be back. The coffee was amazing! They also served beer here.

This is a lovely place down in the Exchange (must see area if you’re in Winnipeg). The waitress is so kind and friendly, and the food was delicious. Quite, peaceful music playing, friendly people coming in and out to get their regulars. Just a wonderful breakfast spot I would definitely come back to on my next visit to Winnipeg! Thanks for the great meal!

Restaurant is plain but clean and comfortable. The food is good, generous portions with reasonable prices. The pancakes and omelettes were delicious. Had a BLT and Smoked Salmon sandwiches for lunch. Sandwiches were large and the potato salad was very good. Espresso were also worth getting.

Amazing place! Did not expect it to be so adorable.) The prices are pretty small and the food is delicious. Probably the only one place in Winnipeg with so tasty home-made lemonade I have ever been to. And soups are super tasty and super big.)

The breakfast came with a salad and the pancakes were lovely and came with tons of fruit. Wish they had extended hours for the fringe. Just a good spot for breakfast

Love their food & the sweetest owners! They have the best sandwiches. If you ever go downtown, you must try their burgers and sandwiches with their homemade lemonade. Pictured: ham and cheese omelete❣️

This hidden gem, our friendly neighbour, Winnipeg Free Press News Cafe has a wonderful ambiance and fantastic food right at the heart of the Exchange. Don't just take our word for it, try it out yourself 😋 they have everything from sweet to savoury.

I live out of town but I come here every time I am in town. Great food .I specifically come here for their breakfast. I've also had their udon and ramen and both are very good. You walk in and order your food at the counter from a large chalkboard. You then pay ( debit credit, cash applepay). You then get your food served by very friendly staff. A little gem inside a great area of town.
