11 Happy Backpacker

Probably a brilliant place during high season but during the low season not so much. They have balloons which helps you to forget there are a million cockroaches everywhere (not small ones either). The room was average and super dusty. The food menu is good but can be easily surpassed by something within 100m of the place. The rooftop is good with plenty of seating, pool tables and even some old school arcade machines. Worthwhile for price and location for a single room. Would not recommend staying here for more than one night.

Unfortunately a bit disappointing, we have been travelling in Asia for two months now and travel low budget. We don't expect much, but this hotel has unfortunately not kept several promises. The room is really nothing like on the photo at Booking. Com. It is clear to me that there are always nice photos shown and I have no problem with budget accommodation, but this time I am disappointed. There are no towels (ok, I brought my own) but the young man at the reception was very unfriendly when I asked for towels. Also the promised cinema is not accessible and again the gentleman at the reception has informed us very unfriendly. The room has no windows (in the net was advertised with windows) and stinks after aggressive cleaning agents (no ventilation possibility). A simple no he answered me when I asked for a change of room, the food on the rooftop is not recommended. I am glad that I stay here only two nights

We just went in for a drink at the rooftop bar, which is up about 5 flights of stairs. This takes you past all the dorms, so it didn't seem that secure for anyone staying there. The bar looks nice in the evening, fairy lights everywhere and some sofas. The bar guy seemed to have had a few drinks himself....not that I'm complaining as it meant we got super strength cocktails very cheaply! The bar seens the nicest part of the whole place.

The hotel does not match the owner pictures. The room had white tiles and no window and remind of a slaughterhouse. The bed sheets were used and had yellow stains and hair on it. The room was smelly. We got a two bed room instead of a double bed room. The staff was really unfriendly and don’t wanted to help us with anything. The cinema was not accessible and the “cosy roof terrace” is a public party place with bad and loud partymusic. In front of our room was a rubbish heap which was still there on the 3rd day. Only recommended if you want to be drunk all the time and you don't care anyway.

Great for meeting backpackers and hanging out at the rooftop bar. But there are way better options if you are looking for a decent room. The place has lost a lot of its charme and quality over the last two years. It's still a good choice, that's why it gets four stars for the rooftop bar.

10usd (private room) a night and great rooftop bar. But..... Dirty rooms with no hot shower, toilet paper or toiletries of any kind. Staff at 11 happy aren't very happy, but they're just young kids with (probably) crappy pay so why would they care? My first drink in the rooftop bar the waitress asked for a tip straight away, even before bringing the drink! Wouldn't stay there again.

Unlike the place I stayed in Siem reap it’s more higher in Phnom Penh. Place is okay but can improve on cleaning. In the tourist street with all bar at walking distance. The Room Is quiet averaging in size and has a nice rooftop bar and good crowd

I paid $11 for a room with no window, no waste basket. no toilet tissue. no hot water, no soap, I was told buy your own. and I was under a noisy bar on the roof.||Bar girls have the best rooms and I am sure they are not paying $11 a night. ||My passport was not registered and the room maid took payment. I was given a receipt but these receipt books can be bought everywhere . . .
