1111 Light Street Apartments

Great apartment complex for the price. In the midst of federal hill and super walkable. The apartment is constantly throwing events for it’s residents which is a great way to meet people

My husband and I rented one of the 3-bedroom units which face William Street from December 2022-December2023. When we submitted our lease termination notice, this is what we sent to management when asked why we were leaving. We never got a reply. "Thank you for acknowledging receipt of our lease termination notice. While we enjoyed lots of things about living in the 1111 Light community such as the location, the apartment itself, and our interactions with maintenance staff, there are several factors that contributed to our decision to move. These are listed below. • Lack of amenities in the building facing William Street: For example, we have no elevator, no way to buzz guests in, no safe/secure way for packages to be delivered, and no convenient place to throw away trash. • No backup way to enter the building when the power is out: when the power goes out, there’s no way for us to get in to our building because the key fobs don’t work. There’s no backup power source to keep them running. We had to rely on the kindness of our neighbors to get back in to the building earlier this year when the power was out and we weren’t home. • Address difficulties: We recognize that this may not be an issue that is entirely within management’s control, but we’ve had trouble receiving packages, even at the Light Street address because the post office and some carriers don’t recognize Apartment 202 as a valid address. As mentioned above, there’s no secure way to receive packages on William Street, so even though the address over there is recognized, we don’t feel comfortable using it because of theft concerns. We also had trouble establishing service with BGE because of the way the William address is set up in their system. • Lack of responsiveness to questions: Earlier this year, we asked if there’s anything that could be done about the package concerns via email/resident portal and only received a reply when we called for an unrelated reason. Furthermore, we wrote an email about new laws that cover retired service dogs back in September and while we got a fast reply to the first message, we followed up because the issue wasn’t resolved and still have yet to receive a response or resolution. Thank you again for letting us know you received our letter."

I have had a great experience at this apartment! It’s in such a great and fun area and the staff is very nice.

Toured this place about a week ago and had to commend Tiffany from the leasing office! She knew everything about the building and was such a delight to be around. She also went out of her way to help us find the best apartment for our needs. The amenities at this place are also very nice and the location cannot be beat! Lived at 1111 for 4 years and left because I wanted to go to another area. The staff at 1111 light street are the best you’re gonna get. They’re kind, organized, and on top of everything. If you’re looking at a few apartments, I would go with light street even if you like another building better. Having a good staff is so important when it comes to packages (package room is so Organized), maintenance, and communication. 10/10!!!

My husband and I just moved out after living at 1111 for a year. We would recommend this building to anyone looking for a place in Baltimore! The location is convenient to anything and everything you could need. The apartments are beautiful with great views of the city. The amenities are perfect (especially the rooftop deck on floor 8!!). Lastly, the entire staff is incredible. Colleen and Lethra in the leasing office are so friendly and answer any questions or concerns you may have. On top of that, they make the community feel like just that: a community! We loved our year in Baltimore and definitely would've renewed had we stayed in the Baltimore area!

The building location is ideal, right in the heart of federal hill across from the Cross St. Market. Quick 10 minute walk to the inner harbor. The building is clean, has all of the standard amenities, a very nice courtyard, and club room. There’s also a nice little area for dogs. Easy access to a community rooftop deck with a spectacular view of the city! The staff is fantastic! You can tell how much they really care about the residents and how hard they try to make this a good experience for us. Maintenance is very responsive, attentive and friendly. The general pricing is also much lower then the surrounding area. You cannot go wrong with 1111 Light St!

Been living here for over 5 years! Love the area, love the space, but the staff are some of the best parts of this place. Super responsive, friendly, and lots of fun resident activities! They truly care about their tenets! It’s the perfect price, has a clubhouse, outdoor terrace area with grills, a business center, and two levels of an indoor garage!

I visited this leasing office for information on space for a friend moving into town and was able to secure a tour easily. The staff was really enthusiastic and gave plenty of detail throughout. Really loved the rooftop courtyard for it's set up and views of the city. There was a good variety in the spaces they had to offer and they were very up to date with things like granite counters and stainless steel appliances. The website is helpful as well because it was easy to navigate and easy to get the quick information needed on the right-hand toolbar. Overall, a solid research & leasing experience!

I've been living here for almost a full year now and it has been amazing. Its in a great location and has awesome features like the kitchen, rooftop/courtyard areas. The gym is also excellent. All the apartments are beautiful and spacious. The company is amazing as well... repairs happen in a jiffy and everybody is very friendly. Had the best experience living here! :)

Best location for an apartment complex to the bars in fed hill, no question. Smaller community, cheaper apartment prices then most complexes around as well.

The staff here have gone above and beyond in making my dog feel welcomed & loved. I am so thankful for their generosity & kindness and feel very lucky to be a part of such a great community. They are consistently making improvements to cater to their residents & it doesn't go unnoticed.
