1111 Light Street Apartments

Very nice place to live. The complex is well built, the community is quiet, friendly, and respectful, and maintenance and management are professional and proactive. Like with any complex, we've had some minor hiccups since move in. But the team has been responsive to any issues. We also really appreciate the community events! Minor drawbacks to consider: limited overhead lighting (no ceiling fans), some aging appliances, no weekend package concierge nor any callbox so deliveries are often a challenge. At your doorstep is one of Baltimore's premier food and bar districts. Like with any urban environment, be informed and be alert, things do happen here. Still, there's so much to enjoy. These apartments are in a nice walkable neighborhood with lots of parks, cool local businesses, and great restaurants. The best parts of living here: Huge closets, great layouts, thick walls, quiet units, nice views, beautiful courtyards, a good management and maintenance team, and friendly respectful tenants.

This building has been my home for the past 5 years and I absolutely love it! Lethra is the best property manager of any building I’ve lived in. I am extremely grateful for how responsive and supportive she has always been. She is an amazing professional!

My review is devoted entirely to the leasing team, most notably the ever-gracious Shandasha Nixon. One afternoon, on a day when my spirits were considerably diminished, Shandasha paused me on my way out to compliment my haircut and offer several thoughtful recommendations for local dining. It was a brief exchange, yet it managed to transform the tone of my entire day. Since then, I’ve observed that this level of courtesy is not an anomaly but a defining characteristic of the leasing staff. They consistently treat residents with genuine warmth, professionalism, and a kind of effortless benevolence that feels increasingly rare. I find myself genuinely delighted whenever I pass their desk, as it’s evident they arrive each day with an uplifting disposition, prepared to infuse a bit of cheer into the lives of everyone who crosses their path.

I’ve lived at 1111 Light Street for four years, and from day one, Lethra, Shandasha, and the entire team have been incredible. They truly care about making sure residents have a great experience, and it shows. I’ve never had a single complaint—everyone from the maintenance crew to the cleaning staff is always friendly, responsive, and professional. The apartments themselves are a great value: spacious layouts with generous closet space that you won’t find elsewhere for the price. The amenities—like the gym, courtyard, and parking garage—make daily life even more convenient. On top of that, the location couldn’t be better if you want to live in the heart of Federal Hill. Highly recommend!

Great place to live! Lived here for a few years and the staff the entire team were fabulous! Whenever something needed to be fixed in the apartment, which was rare, it would be fixed within 24-48 hours. Highly recommend checking out these apartments if you are looking for a safe and clean place to live!

Just renewed my second year lease. Moderately pricier than my previous apartment but worth it in every aspect. Location is great, fitness room is more than plenty, courtyard and club room are nice amenities, maintenance requests are solved within a day (rarely more than that), Disha and the staff are awesome and fix any issues quickly. The only issue I have had is the paid garage parking lot was overbooked at a certain point, but they reimbursed any parking fees related to that. It hasn't been a problem a for a while now, but was the only bad experience I have had in the entire year.

Have lived here for over a year and never had any complaints! Communal spaces are kept very clean (I see staff cleaning when leaving for work every day in the morning), no signs of bugs, and appliances looked well maintained upon move in. Closet spaces are large and fit a queen sized air mattress, so my visitors have a mini room when they visit. Location is great for access to downtown, right on main north-south bus line, water taxi dock to fells point is close, and plenty of restaurants around. Also walkable to Ravens and O’s games! Office staff has always been friendly and responsive. Met some new friends through apartment-sponsored events too.

I have been in this apartment building for four years now and while the amenities, location and apartment layout are great however the noise has become unbearable. For apartments facing Weber street (the side street next to the apartment which is a no parking zone) there is an immense amount of noise from people parking and going to the bars then returning between 1am-3am to play music, slam doors, honk horns, talk loudly etc. Unfortunately neither the apartment nor the city seems to be able to do anything about it despite my best efforts contacting the police/city/management. At the time of typing this email this is the second weekend in a row where both Friday and Saturday I have been kept up until 2am. If you are a light sleeper avoid the side facing Weber street at all costs. I would give this side a 0/5 stars based on the noise and the apartment being unusable for sleep 2 days out of week almost every week. For the side facing the courtyard I would give it a 4/5 based on the location, apartment layout and amenities.

I visited this leasing office for information on space for a friend moving into town and was able to secure a tour easily. The staff was really enthusiastic and gave plenty of detail throughout. Really loved the rooftop courtyard for it's set up and views of the city. There was a good variety in the spaces they had to offer and they were very up to date with things like granite counters and stainless steel appliances. The website is helpful as well because it was easy to navigate and easy to get the quick information needed on the right-hand toolbar. Overall, a solid research & leasing experience!

I've been living here for almost a full year now and it has been amazing. Its in a great location and has awesome features like the kitchen, rooftop/courtyard areas. The gym is also excellent. All the apartments are beautiful and spacious. The company is amazing as well... repairs happen in a jiffy and everybody is very friendly. Had the best experience living here! :)

Best location for an apartment complex to the bars in fed hill, no question. Smaller community, cheaper apartment prices then most complexes around as well.

The staff here have gone above and beyond in making my dog feel welcomed & loved. I am so thankful for their generosity & kindness and feel very lucky to be a part of such a great community. They are consistently making improvements to cater to their residents & it doesn't go unnoticed.
