Great stay nice and relaxing. Can't fault the hotel. Lovely staff. Had a standard room again you get what you pay for, and for what we payed we can't complain. Just do your homework before booking and you want be disappointed. Location was excellent 20 min from airport by cab no plan noise even begin close to the airport. Every thing is on your door step bus, ferrys to all over the island so easy to get around from this location. The aqualido swimming pool opposite, free to hotel users was a great addition and not over priced for drinks and food.We found breakfast was good again staff in the breakfast room were very polite and assertive very clean and outstanding views. The hotel was spotless clean. Elevators were a pleasure to use 4 elevators in total very quick and smooth. This place was a little gem had a great time and wouldn't hesitate to book again. Thank you for a great stay.

I feel scammed by this hotel. They have an "top producer" award displayed in their reception for most rooms sold in 2024. How they achieved this, is by selling more rooms than they have available. When the guest arrives they make an excuse about airconditioning not working, and they place the guest in their sister hotel down an alleyway. As compensation they may offer you a free drink or pizza in their restaurant. The manager gave us an "upgraded" room because we were unhappy with the treatment the first night. The room itself smelled of damp, which explains the black mold in the shower. The mirror was flaking, and the soap dispenser was falling off the wall, and there was still some rubbish on the floor. The bed has hard springs throughout and flat pillows. Looking at the floorplan, we were fortunate to have a window, because several rooms are enclosed by the building, it gave a view of scaffolding, the neighbouring building, and if you stood at the wall you could get a peek of the harbour. The airconditioning regularly made loud noises throughout the night, but it worked. Maybe it worked thanks to the toiletroll they wedged into it. Since it is advised not to drink tap water in Malta, they kindly provide water dispensers on two (?) floors. Sadly they don't tell you about this, so at 3am I had to walk down to the reception to ask where to get water. Luckily for us it was on our floor, so it took only a one minute walk through a maze of corridors. The first morning we were lucky to have breakfast as we woke up early. The breakfast gives a good impression of the hotel's choices: price before quality, and this is noticeable. The second day we arrived around 9, and there was no space available, so we left and had breakfast elsewhere. That afternoon we decided to visit the rooftop solarium, which was closed. Luckily they do offer free access to the pool across the road. When we walked back to the hotel, we met some other people who were being pushed to their sister hotel with the same excuse. I generally do not believe in giving one star reviews, but this hotel has actually clouded any positive memories we had on Malta. I will work hard to forget about this hotel, and would advise people to avoid it.

An Exceptional Stay!||The hotel’s location is perfect for exploring all the nearby tourist cities, with plenty of public transportation options just steps away. Breakfast was delicious, served on the 9th floor with a breathtaking view of the seafront.||||A special thank you to Sandra – she is truly wonderful: kind, attentive, always smiling, and dedicated to making guests feel welcome. She personally made sure I had everything I needed for breakfast, and her impeccable service really made my mornings brighter. Thank you, Sandra! 😁||||The room was modern, spotless, and fully equipped – even with an iron. On the floor I stayed, there was also a water and ice dispenser available at any time. The hotel provides free daily access to the Aqua Luna pool, including on the day of check-out, and there’s luggage storage available after checking out.||||As soon as you step outside, you’ll find restaurants and bars on both sides, and right next door there’s a convenience store open late into the night. The hotel also features its own pool, sauna, and relaxation areas.||||Overall, it’s an amazing place to spend your vacation – I’ll definitely be coming back with pleasure!

My stay at 115 The Strand was very positive. The rooms were clean and air-conditioned, which was a big plus during the hot days. Another great advantage is the swimming pool located just across from the hotel. The location is excellent – right on the main street with plenty of restaurants and bars, and with a bus stop just nearby, making it easy to explore the whole of Malta. From the room, there was a beautiful view of the bay, which was truly impressive. A perfect place for a holiday stay.

Stayed here with my friend for my birthday and had a lovely surprise with the decoration in the room! Very different to anything I’ve seen elsewhere. Room was clean and tidy but limited toiletries and space for toiletries and the shower cubicle may be a bit small for some people. However the room itself was spacious. We had no issue with the AC with both cold and hot air working perfectly fine. There were also water filling stations on most floors and complementary cans and snacks in the room. We felt very secure in the hotel as lifts were operated by the keycards. The lobby had toilets and charging ports and the hotel has free WiFi making it very helpful for those waiting to check in/out. Our breakfast was on floor 9, there was also a hall on the ground floor but not sure what the difference is as we didn’t specify a location but the view from the balcony was breathtaking. As we are Muslim there were limited food options as expected but we found many halal options nearby through tiktok and google. Breakfast was quite basic but tasty and staff were all friendly and welcoming. There was a bus stop further down across the road and the ferry/local boat port was a short walking distance too. We also were able to walk to st Julian’s bay within half an hour but there are lots of transport options including bolt. Buses had a tap to pay option with a paper ticket allowing free journeys within 2 hours and had charging ports and free wifi too. Buses were mostly on time with minor delays. We opted for the local boat to Valletta as it was €3 per way and definitely an experience! My TikTok is @mias.mendhi where I will be posting videos of the hotel and our whole trip aswell including a trip to Gozo, Mdina and the 3 cities.

I'll start with the rooms. Not great. Allegedly we were upgraded from a standard room to a larger room. The only windows in the room was a square internal walls facing other rooms, loads of pipes within this space too noisey at times. No direct sunlight. Shower leaking, loo seat loose. The staff were extremley helpful. The breakfast was okay, nothing special. The roof top bar had amazing views, but no atmosphere. The score would have been alot lower if it wasn't for the wonderful staff. The maintenance staff need to be sent on a refresher course. Shoddy workmanship. If you want a room with a view this hotel is very limited. The wellness centre was not in use, only the plunge pool. You have access to Aqualuna pool across the road. Good drinks and food there too.

We also booked through Loveholidays and got very little info about the room. Would not have booked if we had known we would get a tiny twin claustrophobic room with no natural light- the only window was completely dark frosted and opened onto an internal shaft full of noisy pipes. We really struggled with the dim lighting. Shower room absolutely tiny- no room in the shower to properly turn around or bend down, and you hit the very cracked sink when using the loo. ineffectual fridge. Breakfast was good and the view from the lounge/ bar/ breakfast room was stunning. Aqualuna- the pool complex across the road is lovely but always very busy. The other hotels sharing it reserve beds for their guests, but not this one so get there early as also open to the public. Plunge pool in hotel is tiny but nice for a cool off. Staff on the whole were friendly with some exceptions. There are better hotels nearby than this one. Check your room type before booking. Construction work going on next door which didn’t disturb us but did affect some other guests. Would not return.

We stayed at this hotel for six nights during our holiday. The location is fantastic, and the pool facilities just across the road are absolutely amazing – definitely a highlight and a must-do. Overall, the staff were friendly and helpful, which added to the experience. There were, however, some downsides. While we enjoyed having a balcony, the soundproofing in the rooms was very basic. You can clearly hear what’s happening in other rooms and every movement in the hallways. This was particularly frustrating at night when guests were coming back late or early in the morning when others were heading out. Breakfast was another area that could be improved. The hot food was often quite cold, which was disappointing. As someone who is gluten-free, I had informed the hotel in advance, but the only option provided was defrosted bread — on two occasions it was still stuck to the plate. This was frustrating, as catering for gluten-free guests is not as difficult as it might seem, and it would make a big difference to the experience. In summary, the hotel offers a great location, friendly staff, and excellent pool facilities, but noise levels and the quality of breakfast — especially for guests with dietary needs — let it down.
