Due to the two reasons, I am glad to stay at this place. First one is that this hostel is very centrally located. You do not need to purchase transportation ticket if you love walking. Second one is that in the case of shared rooms, they have enough space for living room and beds are very comfortable to sleep. In addition to this, all of kitchen stuff are provided by Hostel Management. You do not need to bring any equipment. Along with the facilities services, hostel management are nice to approach your problems if you clearly explained bedorehand. During my stay in Budapest, I did not have any problem with them. For the ones who wants to have enjoy their time in Budapest, I strongly advise them to stay this nice, small and warm place.

DOES NOT EXIST. We booked this place originally through hostel world ; prompted by the apparent 10/10 rating. However, before our stay we realised all of these reviews were from before COVID and any recent ones were negative. We therefore cancelled our stay and found somewhere else nearby for a similar price. Whilst in Budapest we decided to investigate and see if the hostel was in-fact still operational. It was not. There was a sign on the door for the hostel and some of the windows were open (although all the shutters were closed), no people anywhere round and it definitely looked completely shut. We’re glad we caught it before our stay was ruined but it really should be removed from booking sites to prevent this happening to other people.

Not very honest business. I booked a private room and the night before my arrival they emailed me to tell me that the location for the private rooms is a different location from their main one, a solid half an hour walk away. The room was tiny and many of the amenities for it were either worn or dirty. I would not stay with them again. They also only accept cash on arrival which would make it very hard to get refunds if you wanted.

Nice hostel. Artfully decorated spaces, the rooms are names after landmark films. I stayed in the batman room. It is a standard hostel, with a lovely kitchen and an open space to smoke and mingle, rickety beds to just have the bare minimum sleep and good WiFi to plan the day ahead. The location is a charm, right in the middle of everything. Good place if you like the cheap hostel experience

I really loved this hostel..a fantastic young environment, you'll be able to meet people from all around the world..the rooms have exactly what you'll need, they're clean and big. Closets are included Also a free "crow pub" tour starts every night at 9:30pm from the hostel and gives you the opportunity of having a great time in many of the city's pubs. I found a fantastic organization and lots of people who really love their job and want to do the things as the best as they can. If you're planning a trip in Budapest, go to 11th Hour Cinema Hostel.

Very good hostel, in the center of the city. Would very much recommend this for a city trip or eurorail trip around Europe. Many opportunities to meet people and possibilities to watch movies with them. Staff was super nice. Rooms are clean as are the wash rooms. Would recommend staying here if you are with a large group, just some friends or on a tight budget!

We stayed in 3 bed ensuite apartment. It would be helpful to mention that the apartments are not in the hostel, but in a different location (10 minute walk) from the hostels location. The apartment was basically a old apartment building left to die and put some beds in it. It had bugs all over, kitchen looked like hell (we did not need it, but we would not have wanted to use it if we would have). Beds were okay, but the vibe of the place was that it was going to crumble at any time. The actual hostel looked nice when we visited it, but it was inconveniently far away to use the facilities there. Also we had to checkout at the other location, unlike we were told when we checked in, which caused 20 minute extra walking in the morning. I guess it is a good hostel if you take a room from the hostel, but would not recommend the apartments.

I would NOT recommend this hostel. My boyfriend and I are seasoned travellers and are used to sleeping in less than luxury, so that was not the issue. We had originally gone to this hostel because private rooms with double beds were advertised online but when we arrived we were told these didn’t exist there but we were given the choice between single beds and bunk beds, we chose single beds. On the second day of our stay, we returned to the hostel after a day out to find our bags and possessions missing. In a panic we went down to reception and tried hard to communicate our issues to the person working the but the language barrier made it very difficult. We found our stuff ourselves after taking the initiative to check in the storage locker. We also realized that some items that were in our bags has been broken when our bags were moved. Not cool. We were then told by “the manager’s sister” who was quite hostile with us that we had only paid for one night for one person which is why our things were removed from our room. We had paid for two people for two nights (two nights being the minimum stay required when booking) but it is extremely hard to prove a payment when the hostel only accepts cash payments and doesn’t give any receipts. We were made to sit and wait in the lobby with all of our things for around an hour while they tried to figure out what had happened. They wanted to put us in bunk beds which is not what we had agreed to when checking in. In the end they gave us that night for free and we stayed in the bunk beds. No one apologized for the mishandling of our stay there and I’m not pointing any fingers but I woke up with a crazy itchy rash all over my arms. All and all this was the most negative experience I’ve had and this is exactly the kind of things that makes people not want to stay in hostels. Save yourself a headache and book somewhere else.
