I stayed 4 nights at 12:12 Hostels and really loved it. The service is top of the line, better than any 5 star Hotel. Staff gave me the best tips on where to go, what to visit, and they always helped everybody with a big smile. It was super super clean at all times. The bathrooms where shiny and had very hot shower, which is not very common between hostels. I loved the design: very colorful, very cozy, lots of areas, very well equipped kitchen... I felt at home! I did the Zipaquira tour and was amazing, and took the party bus on Saturday night to Andres Carne de Res and it was the best night plan ever! Very nice atmosphere, I was traveling alone but met a lot of nice people. Hope to come back soon! Ah... and the area, wow Zona G is the best! Come on you are at the best and safest neighborhood of Bogotá but at a hostel price (I could walk day and night around without any problem), definitely much better than Candelaria which is very dodgy, dirty and insecure.

We stayed in the ensuite private room, which is good value for the money. Nothing fancy, but everything you need in a really great neighborhood. 5 stars for the neighborhood. We love Chapinero. It was great to have a vegan restaurant a 5 minute walk away. We saw both a husky dog and a man with a man bun in the area. Very much a safe, cute, hipster neighborhood. ||||The wifi didn't work in the room, only in the common areas. During our last night there was loud banding up and down the stairs for like an hour starting at 11 pm. Not a major inconvenience and we found with most hostels, probably just a good idea to always have ear plugs handy. ||||They could use a brighter light and/or a better sign for night time arrivals. Our friend picked us up at the airport, so was able to wait patiently while we figured it out exactly where it was, but later that night we found a girl with a backpack who was walking back and forth on the main road near the cul-de-sac where the hostel was located. She was staying at the 12:12 as well and we helped her find and walked her to the hostel. ||||The biggest issue we had was related to booking a tour. After the experience we had, I wouldn't recommend booking anything with them. On the Thursday before our arrival we booked a car to take us out for a day trip on Sunday. But we had some changes come up and we cancelled first thing on Friday morning (48 hours in advance). We made this booking via a casual e-mail chain and were never told that there was a no cancellation policy, but when we tried to cancel they told us it wouldn't be possible and that we would still owe the full amount. We were more than a little surprised. It was a very bad start to our vacation. I ended up having to argue with them and was able to get them to agree to only half payment for the trip that we didn't take. We ended up paying more for a trip we didn't take than for the 3 nights we stayed at the hostel. I understand that many travel organizations have strict cancellation policies, but I have always been told about this in advance. Had I known they have a strict no cancellation policy, we wouldn't have arranged the tour with them in the first place.

Friendly staff and pleasent atmosphere. We had a 2 person room (bunkbed). I think there are no good 2 person rooms for couples. Room was pretty basic but clean. The place was not busy. ||They asked 60k for taxi to airport, which we declined. We got own taxi and paid 20k with meter on.

The hostel is in a good and safe location in the Zona G neighborhood - which means you’ll have to taxi over to the city center, but it is safer to walk around at night and there are plenty of great dinner options. Maria was great, gave good local recommendations, and helped organize airport pick up for us. The inside of the hostel is nicely decorated with books and bikes, and the beds were comfortable and warm.||We stayed in the private room and the WiFi didn’t quite reach the room. Otherwise, great stay!

I have stayed in well over 100 hostels and this continues to be one of my favorites! ||||The Hostel- 12:12 is very relaxed with lots of amenities. They have a really nice kitchen and cool common areas with a HUGE table where people hang out and chat. The beds are super comfy and warm which is nice for Bogota. Very warm showers that have great water pressure. I usually stay in the 6 or 7 bed dorm. The rooms are big enough that you dont feel crowded even when its full. Also, they let me stay and hang out after I checked-out while I was waiting for my night bus. I appreciated this.||||The Location- The hostel is located on a dead end street which is awesome because there is no traffic and no noise. From the hostel you can walk to honestly hundreds of restaurants. Also within walking distance are big supermarkets, small supermarkets, laundry, coffee shops, bakeries...literally everything. I usually stay here when Im doing something Visa related and its MUCH closer to these offices than staying in La Candelaria. Its also about 10,000-12,000 pesos from the bust station,||||All in all this hostel has everything. I would never stay anywhere else in Bogota!

We stayed in the private room, which is secluded in the back with ensuite bathroom and hot water shower. Good location close to high end restaurants in Rosales and Chapinero areas (15-20 minute walk or quick Uber/taxi). Maria offered day trip to Catedral de Sal, including a hefty delicious lunch. WiFi reception was poor in the private room, but excellent in the common area.

Very cosy place, with incredibly nice employees and manager. Ask anything you will find help. Also a lot if activities can be booked from the hostel. Definitely do the bike tour. Additionally the hostel has a beautiful interior design, probably the most comfortable beds In Bogota and is located in a very safe area. Definitely would recommend :)

After booking multiple weeks with the owner, I was thrown out. A fellow guest who was checking out asked me to relay a message, to not throw his things in the garbage, he had an emergency. Apparently, the owner doesn’t fare well with people trying to help travelers. She’s a complete nut case. I highly recommend any other hostel to this one.
