13 Lunas Hostel

What a perfect, welcoming, and comfy hostel! Nice people, big kitchen and so many sweet places to sit down. Mixed dorm, was super chilled. Also, there are many things to do within the area around Ancud. If you need help with planning what to do just ask anybody :)

Thank you so much for an unforgettable stay! Spending New Year’s here was the best decision. We had such a cozy and fun time celebrating together with everyone. The atmosphere was incredible, filled with only good vibes. The staff even joined in the celebration and made everything feel so easygoing and relaxed. We truly felt at home here. The rooms were spotless, as were the bathrooms and showers, and the spacious kitchen had enough room for everyone. On the day of our departure, even though our bus left in the evening, we were allowed to spend the entire day at the hostel and use all the facilities. We can totally recommend this hostel! Thank you again for everything, it was the perfect start to the New Year!

A fantastic hostel, amazing kitchen which plenty of space and equipment. The shared bathrooms are plentiful with separate showers. The common areas are really cosy and inviting. The staff are very helpful and have great English. Location is really handy just by the bus station.

Great place to stay all around. With a large garden right behind the hostel as well. Felt a little afloat on the top bunk in the middle of the 8-bed dorm and some more conveniently accessible outlets wouldn’t hurt either though.

Really enjoyed our stay here! The hostel is converted from and old house and has a nice wood interior. The location is excellent, right across from the bus station. The basement room wasn't the best because it has low ceilings and a cramped bathroom. Also the bikes we rented were painful to ride. The seat hurt to sit on and I had to pedal constantly, even on flat ground, there was too much resistance to coast. We rode 17 miles (28 km) and I couldn't sit comfortably for two days after. Laundry was more expensive to do here than other hostels. Go on the penguin tour! It was a highlight.

This place really felt like home for my 3 night stay :) The breakfast of toasted bread, cheese and eggs was a great start to the day. The layout of the hostel is really efficient and clean (re: bathrooms) and the living spaces were so comfortable. When it's raining in Ancud (which it does on and off a lot) I was more than happy to chill in the hostel as the workers and travelers were awesome company. Definitely recommend and would stay here again!

One of the best hostels in SA. Great staff, excellent kitchen, areas to relax in, bar downstairs with BBQ area. Rooms good and beds comfortable. No complaints. Also their tours are very good.

Lovely hostel located right next to the bus station which was super convenient. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, really big comfy bunk beds. Dalca the dog is friendly too! Large kitchen for cooking, common room with books games and TV. Can't fault it.
