After being disappointed by a popular bar in Barcelona, we stepped into the tiny 14 De La Rosa, which isn't exactly easy to find. But now we knew we’d come to the right place! No show, no gimmicks, just good classic drinks with a unique twist. At first, we were happy to see a Naked & Famous on the menu, but then we got a little suspicious when we saw that it contained oolong tea. Only to be happy again when it actually enhanced the drink. Only to be knocked out by a Fino Mary with mezcal, dry sherry, chili, miso, and smoked olives with anchovies(!). The service is professional but perhaps not very personable, but that's probably because our Spanish is terrible, so the conversation was a bit stiff. This is just a very good bar, and the next time we're in the northern part of Barcelona, we'll definitely be back! 🥃😍
