Location of the hotel is great. It's a historical building which makes the stay even greater. Nice and comfortable rooms. They provide free breakfast too every morning and free tea, coffee and water 24*7 which I liked the most. Cooperative staff. I liked my stay there.

I encountered a number of issues that ultimately led to an unsatisfactory stay. I found the level of service provided to be lacking, with staff members being unresponsive to my requests and ignoring my concerns. Additionally, the amenities and facilities were in poor condition, making the hotel stay uncomfortable. I have reached out to you directly before leaving this review, and I had hoped for a satisfactory resolution to my concerns. However, after receiving no response, I felt that it was important to share my experience with others.

This hotel is very nice. It has a great location in downtown Boston. It has wonderful rooms. It serves a delicious continental breakfast. And it is easily accessible by public transit. The only problem I have with this hotel is that the rooms are quite small. Anybody over 5 foot 6 would stub their toes, as I did quite often, as they walked between the narrow spaces from bed to bathroom to chair. I understand why they did what they did but the rooms are tightly packed, the halls are narrow, and the whole place seems rather claustrophobic. Otherwise, it's a great place.

Great location, quiet with comfy room & big bed. 24 hour coffee/tea station & Italian based eatery on the ground floor. In house self-serve laundry also available. Front desk Staff friendly & helpful. Only downside is the continental breakfast - very poor choice selection, no bread, no bagels, no cereal & coffee tasted like powdered caterer's blend - weak & no flavour. Best tip, go elsewhere for breakfast.....

Skip it. The only good thing is the location and the cleanliness of the rooms. The staff at the front desk was uninterested and slow, the rooms was super small and only OK for one night and the breakfast was a joke. I'm used to European breakfasts, but what was offered at Hotel 140 was enough to keep you satiated for about an hour. On top of all of this, there's no parking on site and you have to pay extra ($30 per day!).

Very nice hotel in a historic building (an old YWCA). Staff is very friendly. Rooms are comfortable. Decent breakfast that's provided free of charge. The only downside is that the walls are thin and you can hear everything from the other rooms. Other than that, a great place to stay.

My mom and I have been going to hotel140 for quite sometime now and love our stay. Everything from the staff, to the comfortable beds and spacious rooms makes the stay great each time! Just recently we stayed overnight and when we checked in our room was upgraded to a suite which we absolutely loved! It had 2 beds with our own bathrooms, living room and kitchen area. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and will be back next year !

Good hotel and a great back bay location. Rooms were a bit small for the price and location but they were clean and well serviced. Complimentary breakfast has very few healthy options which disappear fast so plan ahead if you don’t want to sugerload in the morning.
