Great and modern hotel. The odd thing was to uses your keycard when leaving/entering the reception and also at breakfast. There one often got stuck as the turning cross didn´t allow more than one entry/exit per day. If you had forgotten something in the room you were not allowed back in haha. But the staff could let you in and out withe their keycards. Apart from that odd thing everything was great, Breakfast excellent and the generous opening hours: 10.30 weekdays and 12.00 weekends. I´d definitely stay there again

It has a nice location as it's like a 10 minute walk from the Praca da Republica where I joined the free walking tour of the historic downtown. The closest metro was the Anhangabau station, and from there it was easy to get to the main intercity and airport bus stations. The hotel was clean, the workers nice(mostly speak Portuguese), and the breakfast buffet was a big bonus. Like most of SP there is traffic noise but it calms down at night and I slept well in the comfortable bed.

I stayed three nights here and was quite satisfied particularly given the economical price. The room was large and the bed very comfortable. The only negative was fairly noticeable traffic noise since the hotel is on a busy street. The breakfast buffet was good. Staff attention was friendly and professional. I forgot my camera in my room when checking out, but the housekeeper found it and the hotel held it for me until I returned for it. I recommend the 155 Hotel for visitors to São Paulo.

It was ok. The room was decent, the internet worked. The employees were indifferent but did their jobs. The bathroom was an issue. The toilet was so close to the sink, I could barely stand in front of the sink and mirror. The hotel requires you pass through a turnstile to enter. Electricity only flows to your room while the keycard is inserted into a switch in the room. So, the air-conditioning goes off when you leave and must “begin from scratch” when you return. This means the air conditioning will always be running (loudly) but the room will rarely actually be cooled. To eat breakfast, you must swipe your key card and pass through yet another turnstile to enter the breakfast area. The key swipe often does not work. I watched 3 people climb over the turnstile in one day alone. This seems absurd to me, given the breakfast area is in the basement and you cannot enter the hotel without a keycard. What do they think is going to happen? A gang of hoodlums will storm the kitchen? There is no attendant in the breakfast area. There are also no forks. There is, however, a sign demanding no one remove food from the area. So, you cannot take a cup of coffee back to your room.

We stayed only one night and it was good. Thanks to the very friendly english speaking staff at the reception, we knew where to go out and we enjoyed Sao Paulo. The rooms are not fancy but with everything you need and they were clean.||Transfer to the airport was more than ecpected but we made it.||Will come back :-)

The hotel was nothing special. Rooms were reasonable size but bathroom was tiny. Sink had only cold water. Light was not very cosy and there was a lot of noise from the street. There was only a bedlight at one Side of the bed. Towel were thin.

If you are looking for a low cost hotel with a good relation price vs quality, this is a good option. It is quite simple but the rooms are big and they manage to keep it clean and tidy. It is well located, close to a nice street with many good restaurants (Avanhandava street).

Not even recommendable for an overnight stay. The bath and the whole room smelled like mold and mildew. A lot of news from the city freeway was coming through the AC. Minibar means that there is a fridge but no beverages. Parking means that there is a non-free garage right next to it (as basically to any other hotel in Sao Paulo, but it is not included). There was not even simple black tea available for breakfast. Even though it is a budget hotel, cleanliness should be expectable.
