Our week at 16Tulum was amazing. The property was spotless, everything was well organized, and the whole experience was completely hassle-free. The chef was excellent, and the meals were always fresh and well prepared. The large pool was a standout—perfect for parties or a more laid-back vibe. Alex and Laura made everything perfect for us and were extremely attentive throughout our stay. One of the best trips we’ve had in Mexico.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had the BEST time at 16Tulum! The house is absolutely massive and somehow even better in real life than in the photos. The sound system is insane — honestly better than most beach clubs we’ve been to — perfect for nights in with friends. Each room is totally private, like your own little hotel suite, which was amazing for our group. It really felt like we had our own boutique hotel all to ourselves. The location is super central too, close to everything but still peaceful and private. Huge shoutout to Maya from Travel Experimental — she took care of our entire trip from start to finish. Every single thing she recommended was spot-on, and it all went super smoothly. From the chef’s delicious meals (seriously 5-star quality!) to activities and logistics, we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Highly, highly recommend — can’t wait to come back!

Laura and Alex were excellent hosts and provided an ideal environment for both work and play. Their concierge team responded to our team’s needs in such an effective and friendly way. Would definitely recommend renting their villa for work offsite or large family gatherings!

I can not in good faith recommend staying at Villa 16 Tulum or using Travel Experimental for any travel bookings. Our house was robbed while staying there, resulting in 2 of my friends having their passports, jewelry, electronics, and other belongings stolen. The company ensured we would have 24/7 security which is a big reason we booked with them. The first night in their residence, we noticed the lack of security, to which they informed us they were unprepared and did not have security (ergo breaching our agreement). After expressing our discomfort, they hired a friend of the family to be our security guard. That same friend of the family was seen on the security footage covering the video camera, allowing an unauthorized person to enter the villa on the night of the robbery. The company has assumed no responsibility for the fact that people were robbed on their property, the fact that they did not have security present when that was a required part of the agreement, or the fact that their hired individual acted out of bad faith and suspiciously (for which we can only assume was the robber, or helped his friend who enter rob us). We gave them ample opportunities to amend the situation financially and/or otherwise, for which they refused. Edit based on their response below: "Reported difficulties" instead of acknowledging a robbery of passports and valuables on your property is ridiculous. The security guard was a maintenance worker that you were friends with after you were ill prepared with real security (we have text proof of this). We also have the footage of this "real security guard" covering the front camera allowing an unauthorized person inside (go to @lexihailey_ tiktok video to see the camera footage). Your continuous refusal to accept any responsibility is astounding. They did not accompany you to the police station because we all felt your actions were suspicious. Again, I would not recommend staying here.

The Best Villa in Tulum! This is my 6th time in Tulum, and I’ve stayed in many properties, but 16Tulum was by far the best experience I’ve had! The villa is absolutely stunning, with its chill vibe, gigantic pool, and HUGE tropical gardens—plenty of space for everyone to relax and have fun. It’s in the perfect location, close to the beach, restaurants, and stores, but still feels super private and peaceful. Each room is totally independent, like in a hotel, which was perfect for our group of friends—everyone could live at their own pace and feel comfortable and private. The amenities are next-level—the sound system is insane, plus there are party lights, a dance floor, a fire pit for sunset drinks, and even great internet (rare in Tulum, lol). The team here is incredible. They took care of everything, from booking a private chef (the food was out-of-this-world good) to organizing all transportation and activities. Everything was so easy and stress-free. If you’re planning a group trip or just want to enjoy some luxury, this is the place to be. Can’t wait to come back!

Even Better the Second Time Around! This was my second visit to 16Tulum, and I’m blown away by how much the property has been upgraded. The remodel is unbelievable—everything feels brand new and even more luxurious. The design is gorgeous, the space is huge, and the 5-star installations and services truly stand out. The villa is in the best location, with easy access via a paved road and close to everything—restaurants, shops, and even 24-hour convenience stores. It’s so convenient while still feeling like your own private oasis. The team here is fantastic, as always. They go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect, from helping with trip planning to handling every little request, even last-minute ones. And the private chef? Still as amazing as I remember. The food was better than any high-end restaurant in town. 16Tulum continues to exceed all expectations. If you’re looking for a luxurious, hassle-free stay in Tulum, this is it. I’ll definitely be back again!

Each room had its own unique, classy vibe, and the amenities, from the relaxing pool to the spacious kitchen, were top-notch. Alex and his team were incredibly helpful, ensuring our guests' needs were met and providing excellent recommendations for dining and activities. The surprise wedding gifts were a thoughtful touch, and the easy communication and security presence further enhanced our experience. The flexibility offered in planning our wedding was commendable, with the venue serving as an ideal setting for such a special occasion. From the picturesque backdrop to the willingness to accommodate various vendors, the venue's adaptability made our wedding dreams a reality. In summary, our experience at the venue exceeded all expectations. The perfect blend of beauty, comfort, and hospitality created memories that will last a lifetime. We cannot recommend it highly enough for anyone seeking an unforgettable getaway or a dream wedding destination.

The entire place is a great location for family or friends to stay. We decided to get marry there and we will cherish this place and the memories that were made there! We couldn’t have done it without the wonderful staff and partners that helped us make our dream wedding a reality! I would come back every year just to experience the joy and fun we had!
