169 Drummond

Stayed at 169 Drummond for 6 nights. I have stayed there many times and as always this was an excellent experience. Room and on-suite bathroom spotlessly clean. Bed very comfortable with plenty of pillows. Breakfast was excellent as well. Lots of seasonal berries and top quality yoghurt and muesli. Overall an excellent stay with Ian who remains a welcoming host as always.

Spent 5 nights in this wonderful bed and breakfast. Ian was a fantastic host who we looked forward to chatting with everyday. Enjoyed the ability to have breakfast on our own schedule and found the room, bed and shower to all be very clean and comfortable. Location location made this a super place to stay from easily walking downtown to exploring the Italian district right behind us. Poppa Gino’s resturaunt 5 min away was excellent and if you love pastries you must go to Brunetti’s an easy walk away. Overall would recommend family and friends to stay here in an instant.

Once again we stayed at Ian's BnB and again, not disappointed. Room 4 is the Queen bedroom, large, plenty of room, double opening doors onto a balcony, ensuite bathroom, plenty of towels and toiletries. 'Continental' breakfast included in room cost. Conveniently situated in the Carlton area, within walking distance to city central, trams a few minutes walk away, oodles of eateries within a few minutes also. The outstanding Melbourne Museum and the Victorian era exhibition building, within 10 minutes walk, airport Starbus drops off and picks up at the door. Best value in town!

Spent 5 nights in this charming and relaxed B&B. Ian was a wonderful host making sure we were well looked after. Breakfast was Help Yourself and we had lovely yoghurt and fresh fruit every morning. Our room was at the front of the building, the best room in the house! It was great climbing out of the window onto the balcony with my cup of tea in the mornings. Loved the location just around the corner from Lygon street for delicious Italian food.

Well last night of an 18 night stay and I can only say it's touched the spot. The location is perfect for eateries and getting to the city. Our room was loveky and comfortable spotless clean. Ian and Betty are just loveky and will look after you and make you feel at home. Would definitely recommend.

A real locals hotel. Tucked away in a quiet area of Carlton - a suburb of Melbourne - Ian has a lovely offering in a gay friendly environment if that is your requirement. Really well designed hotel and ultra comfortable. This is a truly exclelent choice.

I have stayed in a lot of b&b all over the world but this experience was just great what a hidden gem . Ian and betty are the most warmest inviting that you will find anywhere meticulously clean and everything at your fingertips situated close to Melbourne iconic lygon street a must stay if you are looking for great accommodation
