Went here on a foodie tour- I was pleasantly surprised. The owner gave us a wonderful talk. We could take a tour if we wanted to, even though it was a little drizzly - and he told us he was a chef and actually served restaurant style dinners for a reservation-and made the most delicious tomato soup for the foodie tour I’ve ever tasted. I bought a grape pie and it was just as good . I will definitely be back.

First time here. Fun farm decor with some unique items, array of jams, spices, food items including grape pie, potato candy, eggs, and so much more. I bought a little of everything including beautiful mums. So happy we came by.

Amazing experience. We had a family event here. The ambience of the farm, combined with the amazing dishes by Chef Larry easily earn this place 5 stars! The grape pie and bread pudding desserts put it over the top. Not only great food and environment but the service was amazing. Chef Larry made us feel like we were gathering in our own home.

Watch out for pile of rocks in parking lot. Earwigs in some flower pots. I gave the business five stars. I just thought people would like to know there's the possibility that one may find dozens, if not hundreds of earwigs, crawling all over you while you're driving home. The reason there are warnings is because it is an awkward parking lot where people have had issues in the past, hence the warnings. 150 year old cistern, well I'm very proud of ya! I've purchased many items from this establishment on several different occasions it was always a pleasant experience. Just watch out for the cistern and shake you pots and flats before you put them in your car. Overly sensitive owner, be gentle.

I loved visiting 1760 Homestead farm. It’s such a warm and cozy atmosphere compared to the other crazy, overcrowded, and overpriced places in the area. They have such a great Halloween setup, beautiful pumpkins, fresh sessional produce, and other cute seasonal decor. The staff is super sweet and friendly and they even have chickens, goats, and a horse. If you’re in the area, definitely check them out. You won’t regret it.

Absolutely charming. We were looking for some fresh vegetables and stopped here. There is so much more. If I wasn’t on a time limit, I would have stayed and explored much longer. Here are some pictures for a peek.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I stopped here after seeing a "Farm To Table" lunch advertised by a sign outside near the road. I've always wanted to try a farm to table restaurant! It exceeded my expectations! The menu had something for everyone and had a good variety. We picked shrimp gumbo, butternut squash soup, turkey chili, and cheesesteak. Everything tasted so fresh and delicious. Nothing tasted artificial at all. After we got our food a staff member came out with an orange wedge and suggested adding it to the butternut squash soup. I'm a bit adventurous...I tired it and it was good! There's also a few shops in the old farm. They have local jams, honey, and (right now) fall decor. If you walk toward the back there are some animals. We were told they love attention and it wasn't a lie! We pet some after lunch. Definitely a great place! We know the menu will be different but we would be back again for lunch!

Yelp
The Quick: beautiful farm with a variety of gifts, food, and local treasures. I do a great job decorating for the season, and is worth stopping by The Details: we love stopping by this farm for christmas, but they have food and goodies available all year round. I definitely recommend stopping in

Yelp
This farm stand has great veggies but there's a "She Shed" with the best pie I've ever had and I didn't think I'd like it. There's a Concord grape pie that is unbelievable. 5 stars for the pie alone but cute experience as well.

Yelp
Very cute farm stand and bakery. Their grape pie is a classic!! Super nice people as well. Definitely a place to stop if you are heading out east

Yelp
Adorable farm and store with great pies! Definitely check out the Concord grape and the brownie pecan. There are goat milk soaps, veggies. Cute decor, signs and the sweetest horse ever.

Yelp
The cutest place!! Note they are only open Sundays 12-4pm (year round). The menu looks like it changes every week. A bit pricey for the portion sizes but the quality is there. Everything we tried was really good. We had chicken curry/squash soup and duck over rice (not pictured) They have a farm stand on the land but are NOT a slaughter house. They had run out of eggs but they had a variety of other things for purchase. They also do events here and the employees are very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the area, which was a nice perk!

Yelp
We had such high expectations forf this place. Farm to table. Limited menu and serving days. Excellent, enthusiastic reviews. It seemed like a sure-fire, unique, boutique and tasty experience. It wasn't. Four adults ordered a cold cucumber soup, a white bean salad topped with tuna (from a can), a ribs/chicken combo and two bhan mi sandwiches. With four Snapple ice tea (no ice; "ice machine is broken") it came to $116. A very pricey lunch for four. And no table service. You order and pick up at the counter. The soup was fine. The salad was quite skimpy considering it was $18. The vegetables, which should have been picked just hours earlier, were crisp and fresh but nothing special. The ribs and chicken were pedestrian. It's hard to believe either came from the farm. Nothing wrong with them but no special taste or BBQ crispness and juiciness you'd expect hot off the grill. The corn on the cob was inedible. Dried out, lukewarm , tasteless. The worst ear of corn I've tasted in years. AND THIS IS PRIME LI SWEET CORN SEASON!! The bahn mi were good but not authentic. Served on American style roll. Lunch is eaten on well-worn picnic tables with umbrellas. When I sat down, one of the wood slats creaked and partially broke; the wood was rotten. So, a very disappointing experience considering the high expectations we had going in. I will never go back. I suggest you don't go for the first time if you haven't been.

Yelp
We stopped for heritage horseradish, and we ended up buying produce and some delicious pickles as well. This was a great find on a weekend trip to the North Fork from Connecticut! The farm and buildings are historic, and it's fun to see the animals, especially the beautiful varieties of chickens. On weekends they have lunch specials with music. We didn't get the famous grape pie, so I know we'll have to go back again soon. There are a lot of farm stands on the East End, but this is one of the best and most interesting. Don't miss it!

Yelp
Such friendly people! Amazing pickles and pies, was nice to see they have rescue animals as well. Was nice to stop for a quick walk and some fresh goods. The grape pie is really, really awesome.

Yelp
I can't say enough about this adorable Farm! The owners were very helpful and friendly! They took the time to answer all of my questions regarding the fresh veggies and fruit when I asked. We were told to feel free and walk the grounds. The entire staff was very welcoming! We had to stop for the grape pie since I never heard of it and my family is now hooked! The red shed was jam packed with all kinds of goodies and decorations soaps- a wide variety with something for everyone! The kids enjoy feeding the goats and chickens. Definitely will be back to this hidden gem a lot more!! Each season brought new surprises Their flowers were top notch and the homemade jams delicious!

Yelp
I took my 3 year old daughter for a fun fall day this weekend. 1760 Homestead Farm provided that and more! There was a hayride that took you around the grounds to see goats, horses, and chickens. We saw the bee keepers where their honey is made. Countless vegetables, flowers and plants. The farm was decorated for fall/ Halloween. My daughter particularly loved the pumpkin patch with the "scary ghost skeletons" inside. The shop sold many locally sourced items and decor that is made at the fam and surrounding areas. The staff was super helpful, friendly and knew how to interact with children and customers. We enjoyed the pickle stand and took home some marinated mushrooms to enjoy! We also couldn't leave without a pie or my favorite cowboy cookies! This farm is perfect for a day date or trip with children. We are looking forward to heading back out there for the holiday season.

Yelp
Have visited 1760 Homestead farm many times :) the owners and their staff are very friendly and helpful and willing to give you a full history of this working farm. We enjoyed pie, pickles and touring the farm animals and flower and vegetable fields. The "She Shed" is filled to the brim with farm made goodies, from sweets to decor, honey from their bees and jam! We love visiting this farm and look forward to coming back over and over again!

Yelp
We've been here twice, once in the summer and once in the late fall. In the summer they have beautiful fresh produce including a lovely variety of tomatoes, outdoor plants as well. In the late fall they have fresh wreaths, and the BEST concord grape pies!!!! You MUST stop for the pies! Quaint little farm shop and beautiful grounds. Friendly owners and great times.

Yelp
So many farms out East have become so over populated and commercialized, I'm so glad i stopped here when i found it!! So refreshing, family run business. Everything grown on the farm is actually toxin free, which is hard to find these days. The pies and cookies are to die for! Get your hands on a pecan brownie pie and the chocolate chip cookies while you can, oh my when i was here they were coming straight from the kitchen still warm. Also one of very few farms around here that i know for a fact actually bakes their own goods. Well worth the stop. I've been back with family and friends multiple times since the summer and will continue to come.

Yelp
Beautiful and picturesque farmstand, selling local produce, honey, flowers, etc. They have special farm to table dinners on Sundays, which look good. The woman there told us the dinners are announced a few days before on FB or Instagram and are BYOB.

Yelp
My family and I take frequent rides to farm stands on the East End. We had driven by 1760 Homestead Farm many times and were intrigued by the Grape Pie sign but had never stopped, instead we ended up at the same farms each time, but finding most of them had become overly commercialized. Last month we decided to stop and visit 1760 Homestead Farm. We are extremely happy we did. Not only do they have a great selection of fruits and vegetables, but they have a pickle stand with the most delicious horseradish pickles. Looking through the "She Shed" it's easy to find delicious pies, gifts, and honey. Everyone I encountered working there was extremely helpful and polite and proud to tell about the history of the farm. I've been back a few times now and each time I find something new to love there. If you're ever out on Sound Avenue make sure to stop at this farm. You won't be disappointed.

Yelp
Very nice place pies are really good. Can't wait to try the next flavor that comes out

Yelp
On what started out as a lovely girls trip to a goat farm out East we came upon the quaint charming homestead farms. Or so it may seem. We saw the sign that said "Pumpkin Pie Cupcakes" and immediately did a U turn to snatch some tasty treats. We arrived and asked where the cupcakes were only to be shown the saddest muffin pumpkin monstrosity I've ever seen. Cupcakes are cupcakes because they have frosting, and the only thing topping these was a film of oil that had seeped through. The owner was staring at us so we bought them, went to the car and took a bite and our lives were forever changed. It was essentially just pumpkin pie mix with enough eggs for Gaston and the amount of cloves in it, well let's say I can still taste it. Beware of the Pumpkin Pie Cupcakes. You will leave nothing but disappointed and confused.

Yelp
Went out for a visit on the East End and came up to this little farm. We were excited because we saw a clip on News 12 about the farm. It actually is not a farm it's more of a put together with sheds shop outlet. The son has a pickle stand, the wife makes crafts and the husband cooks. There is no legal documents hanging for customers to see that they are even allowed to be cooking. Such as permits, peddlers or food course certificates. They had tables to eat with a food truck but no bathrooms. I saw the Facebook page and it claims to support small businesses. Apparently it's just their small businesses. The farm was the smallest I have ever seen and was more of a front, probably to get breaks for taxes. None of their stuff is grown there after asking. The pies looked old and grease film on top and everything was way overpriced. I've seen other posts similar to what I witnessed and then posts completely on the other end. Probably a case of false pages from themselves posting good reviews. If you do venture across this location hopefully you have a good experience. I'm not one to write reviews especially negative ones however I felt I should warn others. Be careful and bring lots of money for overpriced food and craft projects.

Yelp
Went there for "Shoofly Pie", one of my favorites. Well, its nothing like the shoofly pie from Lancaster PA Amish country. More like a dry gingerbread tasting cake-like pie thingy, not sure what one should call it. It's edible though, way overpriced.

Yelp
absolutely fantastic farm, you will be delighted. Clean, farm animals great,,pies excellent. Owner delightful man. Both kids, my husband, brother and i, were all exceptionally pleased. You MUST visit the Homestead Farm, check directions a a "little" difficult to find.
