This is a lovely small hotel in a great area for exploring the city. The reception staff are friendly & the included breakfast is excellent. |Unfortunately I have rated this as 3/5 due to issues with the facilities in our room, and the way this was dealt with. |We had booked, and pre paid, for an Urban Suite with Jacuzzi. |At check in we were given the key to room 1. We had dinner plans so quickly unpacked and went out. The next morning we were very disappointed to discover the jacuzzi on the private terrace was out of order, and by the looks of it had not been working for a while. I brought this to the attention of the receptionist who was very apologetic & understood our disappointment. I said that I felt we should have been informed prior to our arrival, or definitely at check in. She agreed and said she would email management & the accounts team to request some form of compensation and for me to ask again the next day. When I asked the next day she apologised again but said that nothing could be done & there would be no compensation, even though I’d paid for an unavailable facility. I was really quite surprised at the hotel’s response. I did not expect a large refund, a nominal amount would have been satisfactory, and to just have it brushed off was not good enough. It really tainted our stay & as a regular visitor to Athens I would not stay here again or recommend. This room type is still showing on the website & is available to book.

If you’re looking for a fresh, stylish hotel in the heart of Athens, surrounded by lively streets full of bars and restaurants, Micon 18 is perfect. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and some even have views of the Acropolis. The concierge team feels like 5-star service. Thomas was especially outstanding, even packing us breakfast for an early airport departure. I travel often and rarely write reviews, but this stay was so special I couldn’t resist. The Micon 18 team truly went above and beyond. If you’ve read this far, just book it, you won’t be disappointed!

This was the most pleasant surprise. The location was perfect for us. I almost wished our vacation had started in the location and instead of ending there. There are so many shops. We surprised one of our travelers with a late birthday surprise and the staff actually surprised us with a cake for her. Top-notch service. Thank y'all.

This hotel was amazing! Such a great find! It is located perfectly in the middle of so many restaurants. The streets are beautiful! It's a few blocks away from a main square and transportation options. The staff are very helpful! The room is very clean and well decorated. The shower has great water pressure too. I strongly recommend the room upgrade to a balcony.

The room is very clean and the staff is very kind. They have an free breakfast from 8-10h30 every morning which is very convenient. One morning we had an early activity and had to leave before 8 am, they had a breakfast ready for us when we left which was much appreciated. The location is also great, within 30 minutes walk of everything. Definitely recommend.

We had a lovely stay at 18 Micon Street. It’s an ideal location within 30 minutes walk from all the main attractions. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was nice and fresh. Despite being on a busy street, we did not hear much from our room.

Right in the middle of town! The hospitality was incredible! Cold cucumber water and nespresso coffee maker available to you all day with cream in the lobby and room! They a pack and play set up when we arrived with sheets and pillow inside for my young son. I could not have felt more taken care of. I described it as staying at your very rich best friend’s house! Truly like arriving to a warm hug!

Modern warehouse type hotel 5 mins walk from main train station. Room had everything you would expect and was large. I was in a loft room which had a huge bath on a huge balcony with sun lounges and chairs. You could have complimentary water, coffee, fruit, biscuits in the lounge area which was where you went for breakfast. Continental breakfast including fresh orange juice machine to squeeze your own, breads, pastries, nuts, cheese. Coffee was with a pod machine, would prefer a proper machine.
