We ate at this location this morning, but unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. Despite the beautiful setting, the service was deeply disappointing. We waited an hour for our food, which included cold pancakes and a cold one-egg raftsman meal, even though the restaurant was not busy.
Upon arrival, a young waitress approached us but then walked away without seating us. We stood waiting for five minutes before being seated. Although our order was taken quickly, the food took an unreasonably long time to arrive—and when it finally did, it was cold.
I opted for bottomless coffee, but despite the waitstaff walking by numerous times, my cup was never refilled. They seemed more interested in gossiping with each other than attending to customers. It was only when the male waiter brought our food, apologized for the delay, and offered to refill my coffee that I received any attention.
To make matters worse, our table had not been properly cleaned before we were seated; there was food on the floor beneath us. Next to our table was a tray piled high with dirty plates and leftover food, which the staff continued to add to without ever clearing it away. This gave rise to concerns about health and safety, especially with flies buzzing around our food.
I typically don’t leave reviews, but I feel compelled to advise others against visiting this establishment. The beautiful spot deserves better management and a more attentive staff.
