On the Grid : 180g

"Tucked away in an industrial loading bay is 180g, a cafe with generous stacks of hip-hop and vintage funk records available for sampling and purchase. The selection of vinyl is focused and curated, as are the delicious lunchtime treats and desserts to try with your latte." - Dynamo

10 Best Coffee Spots in Montreal | Condé Nast Traveler

"This cafe-slash-record store in the Rosemont area serves up throwback music store vibes, with rows of vinyl displayed near the coffee counter. You’ll find genres like jazz, funk, soul, disco, and hip-hop, both for sale and blaring on the speakers. The espresso-based menu has a tight playlist of classic drinks like cappuccinos and cortados, while the music playlist (including '80s and '90s hiphop) will guarantee you'll want to hang out even longer." - Karin Eldor

It’s more of a record store than a cafe in my opinion. However, my friends and I were fortunate enough to grab a couple tables after we were done shopping and we enjoyed some quality coffee. There is a good food selection connected next door too. We didn’t try them, but it looked good. The vibe was super laid back and felt like community more than blind consumerism. There was a little guy there, dressed mad fly. He was just vibing and being a kid. I loved to see it. It’s dope to see kids in safe spaces surrounded by good vibes and culture. Their parents were just hanging out at another table talking about whatever they were talking about. The barista/clerk was super chill. The type of guy I’d definitely hang out with. The whole vibe was super wholesome. I loved it. Especially when you compare it to other elitist vinyl shops with rude clerks. And dude, the gems were crazy. From the vinyl to the tapes. My guys walked out with some rare quality gems. Much respect to whoever is curating the selection. My friends were super happy with their finds. Easy 5 stars. One of the highlights of our short weekend. Whoever reads this, we appreciate your contribution to the culture.

We just saw a cafe and stopped to grab something. There were limited tables. The place has a great potential to receive a lot of people from the hood! I would have removed some of the old CD, DVDs to make room for the coffee place. Unfortunately, I didn’t take photos of food. We got the superbrunch. The portion was rich. They served real maple syrup in the can, the chef was very cool and the taste of food was very yummy.

The food was great, clearly made fresh right in front of us. The burger cheese was melted, the bacon crispy, and the sauces- amazing! All delicious but the "fries" that was tasteless large potatoe cubes. A truly talented, swift, chef. It was 'uncomfortably' busy and crowded, but not surprising with such good food.

Great place to stop that is like the jack of all trades! Restaurant menu with great burgers, coffee, beer, decor to gaze at, and a unique selection of vinyl to flip through. Really artistic place, highly recommend!

This is one of the best record store and restaurant in Rosemont! The food is absolutely fantastic and they have so many records for every type of budget, I always look through their cheapest ones and find amazing bands for like 3$!

You will be shocked by how tasty their food is and their amazing taste of music! I am a picky foodie, normally I won't visit place that I have tried before unless it is really good. 180g's chicken burger grabs my heart and it makes me want to visit again and again and again! Don't even mention their regular music events held at evenings (there might be some during the day, Idk). Super chill and great vibe. Love hanging out with friends at this spot.

best place around this neighborhood, the most cool decoration everywhere you look, the designer is a genius. Bunch of records too, great music and the chef Max, from Ma Mere En Feu is the best too!

Recently stopped here to get a coffee and some early dinner before my volunteer shift nearby. Cute place. Staff friendly. Good music. Great simple food. Fair prices. Impeccable franglais. I think it will be my new spot to stop for reading and dinner between work and volunteering every week.
