Perfect location .. near to so many nice place and almost everywhere to visit is walkable. However the housekeeping may need to improve a little. The bathrobe was not provided in one of our rooms and the other doesn’t have their tie. One of the sink was not working as well. However all these were rectified except for the bathrobe tie pretty quickly. And though we didn’t ask for housekeeping service, water was not given the next day. All these though not big problems just small gestures but shows the team isn’t too careful. Anyhow the staff were pleasant and always wears a smile and the location of the place is amazing. Oh and I think supposed to have jacuzzi tub but it was just a normal bathtub. Also the hot water was not warm enough.. but we r in Malaysia so not too bad but would be glad if we can have it warmer.

We booked the river suite room, it was huge, the toilet is so spacious with bath tub with nice view of the river plus they have complimentary bath bomb. The balcony was nice especially at night. The bed also is good. The breakfast also good, however the area in the garden sometimes got awful smell maybe because of the river. In total, the hotel is very accessible and highly recommended.

Room is cozy and the bed and pillows are very comfortable. Shower is great with rain type of shower head. Lobby area is nice with plenty of space to sit even though the hotel isn’t a big one and is right next to the river. When we first arrived, the smell of the river is overpowering but you’ll soon get used to it and it’s not a bother at all. Breakfast was good, no buffet spread - you’ll be given a small menu to choose from. Lunch isn’t provided but most of the items on the menu are good enough. Would advise the restaurant to change the oil that they used for the fries though as it doesn’t taste too great. Overall a relaxing stay.

This small boutique hotel boasts a strategic location right near the Melaka River, offering a peaceful atmosphere while being within walking distance to popular attractions like Jonker Walk and other interesting spots. Whether during the day or night, the views from the hotel are beautiful and make for a lovely setting.||While the hotel is small, it is clean, well-maintained, and offers a comfortable stay. The rooms are basic but functional, providing everything you need for a relaxing visit. This was our second time staying here, and we returned primarily for its unbeatable location and the consistently high standards of cleanliness.||Overall, if you're looking for a clean, convenient, and well-located hotel in Melaka, this is a great choice!

Great location. Very well decorated hotel. We stayed in the room with river view. Superior design, clean and spacious. Comfortable bed too. Parking is available but need to have a very good parking skill.

1825 Gallery Hotel ReviewI recently stayed at 1825 Gallery Hotel, and overall, it was a pleasant experience with a few things to keep in mind if you’re planning to drive. The hotel itself has a charming and stylish ambiance, making it a great place to stay in Melaka. A RM200 deposit is required upon check-in, so be prepared for that. The parking situation, however, is quite challenging. The parking spaces are very tight, and while it’s manageable for small cars or sedans, it becomes tricky if you’re driving larger vehicles like a CX-50, X70, or even a Hilux. During our stay, the mid-section of the parking area was especially tight, and careful maneuvering was essential. Parking works if everyone is meticulous and considerate of other cars, but it requires patience.Despite the parking constraints, the rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-designed. The overall ambiance of the hotel really adds to the experience, especially if you appreciate boutique-style accommodations. In summary, 1825 Gallery Hotel is a lovely choice for a stay in Melaka, particularly if you’re driving a smaller vehicle. For those with larger cars, just be ready for some tight spaces and a little extra effort when parking.

Great location, nice boutique design within a 200 year old shop house building. Comes with toothbrush, shower cap, hairdryer, cotton buds, kettle, coffee mix. Lots of drawer space. The table is a little annoying because it's slanted. We had requested for a quiet room which was in the central area. Turned out to be peaceful.

Stayed 10 days at 1825 Gallery Hotel in Malacca. The room was clean and comfortable, and the overall ambiance was nice. However, housekeeping wasn’t automatic—we had to request cleaning daily, even after informing reception in advance. Otherwise, a pleasant stay in a great location!
