Had Sunday lunch here yesterday and it was absolutely delicious, everything home made and cooked fresh. I had the beef and my family had pork, both meats were tender and tasty, cooked to perfection. The roasties were pretty much bang on and the Yorkshire was perfect. The cauli cheese was a lovely addition too (extra cost, but not excessive). You would pay more than £30 for 3 courses in a chain bar/pub and yet that is the price here for top drawer food. All served in a timely fashion, but never rushed or slow. If I could add one constructive criticism, it would be that dinner wasn't quite as hot as I'd like it, perfectly edible but I like it piping hot! The starter was a house French Onion soup that was the best I've had if I'm honest, and the desserts were tasty. I had the bread and butter pudding, absolutely exquisite with hints of fruit and a perfect custard. The local cheese board was another highlight. Great service too from Becky, Caitlin, and the rest of front of house/bar staff, and the chefs deserve a medal for putting out such delicious food when it's busy. Lastly the actual restaurant/bar is in an iconic location with beautiful views and well decorated/adorned with local pictures and insights. Can't recommend it highly enough, an absolute gem and a bargain to boot. Thank you for an absolutely lovely lunch.

Had Sunday lunch there today. Absolutely fabulous food. Had the set menu with 2 courses. Prawn cocktail and a turkey dinner. All perfect. Staff were lovely, the place was very busy! Lovely ambience there. Thoroughly recommended.

Visited this evening for our anniversary dinner. What a beautiful building and in a great location. This place will be heavenly in the summer. Anyway, Mel who served us was lovely, attentive and non intrusive. The food was absolutely awesome, we couldn't fault it. Great flavours with every bite. The drinks were stunning, great wine and gorgeous cocktails. Can't wait to go back and try more.

We visited the restaurant for lunch on Friday without a reservation and were promptly seated. We appreciated the pleasant ambiance. The friendly staff kindly explained the items that were unavailable on the menu. We ordered fish and chips, moules with fries, and pork belly. The food was exceptionally delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed our first meal in Wales.

Amazing food , they can really cook beautiful food here . Not to be outdone by the ladies looking after us , Becky and Caitlyn! Great service and so welcoming , like catching up with friends . 5 stars for everything here , dishes cooked perfectly to amazing beer battered onion rings and seafood linguine and the creme brûlée we Can’t wait to visit again. An overall brilliant couple of hours. Popped in for a drink ended up ordering 2 of the sandwiches which were beautiful. Great portions made to a good standard. Great service. With a good knowledge of the beers. Big shoutout to Mark the young barman. Great at his job. Spoke very well and polite. Never stopped & always busy. Look forward to return again ! 👍 🍺

We had a fabulous bank holiday Sunday yesterday. Food was outstanding - none of us could fault a thing - Alex was a brilliant server & all the team work so well together to provide a lovely experience. The afternoon. Was topped off by the brilliant singer in the bar - 5 Stars - we highly recommend!

Quality of meal and drinks top (mojito allow you to see really), service efficient too ! Great view and atmosphere Parking on the other side of the road. Can be a bit loud when quite busy, but nice music for atmosphere chill ! If you want something calm it is not the place but for nice chill atmosphere friends and family this is great. Clean, respectful of Covid safety. I would be back :)
