"Located right in front of the Douro River, 1872 River House provides scenic views over the riverside area, as well as of the Luis I Bridge. The historical Ribeira area is 100 metres away and the Porto centre is 1.2 km. The air-conditioned rooms are classically decorated and feature a flat-screen TV. Some rooms have city views while others boast views over the river. All include free WiFi and a private bathroom. Daily cleaning is provided. Breakfast is included in the room rate and served each morning in the property’s bright meal area. Room breakfast is available, at an extra fee. The Porto Ribeira area is a popular tourist destination, filled with traditional restaurants, bars and eateries. Guests may rent bicycles with the front desk in order to tour the waterfront promenade in leisurely fashion. Babysitting services are available, at an extra cost.
