1896 O'Malley House

My husband and I loved our stay at the O’Malley house. Brent was a great host. He cooked a delicious breakfast every morning. Our room was great.Very comfortable bed. Very clean. We had to check in very late. Directions were very easy to get in the house and get our key. We will be back as we have family close by. Great location to restaurants and street cars.

We have just returned from a holiday to New Orleans staying at the beautiful, elegant O'Malley House. Located in a quiet nice peaceful area very close to the Streetcar line. Breakfasts were excellent and our host very helpful with places to visit.We would highly recommend this for anyone visiting New Orleans.

We had a fantastic week-long stay at the O'Malley House for French Quarter Fest. Thanks to Brent for taking such good care of us once again! After his delicious breakfasts, we were able to take the streetcar to the Quarter each day for lots of great local music and food. We'll be back next year!

Brent has such good hospitality and makes sure to keep the house very organized/clean. He cooks the best yummy breakfast like egg soufflé. He was very helpful telling us directions in where to go and what parades where the best. The cleaning lady cleaned everything very well and even wrote us a sweet little note! Definitely will be coming back.

Located in Mid-City, I really enjoyed the different perspective on New Orleans beyond the French Quarter or Garden District. The host Brent is very helpful and candid with his recommendations about areas and restaurants to check out. Great meals were had within 2 blocks of this bnb—Madinas and Juan’s Flying Burrito. The Canal Street Streetcar is nice to take, but I wish it ran more often. The home is nicely appointed and comfortable. Brent serves a good breakfast plus has water, tea & coffee available whenever you’re thirsty.

We had a wonderful time! The house is stunning and meticulously maintained, room was spacious and very comfortable. The breakfast (and conversation) was a great start to our day. Brent does a fabulous job! Would certainly return and would definitely recommend.

My brother and I took a trip to New Orleans this month and the best part of our trip hands down was staying at the O" Malley house. Right when we walked through the front door we felt the history of the city move through us. Miss Sally owner of this beautiful bed and breakfast greeted us with open arms and open hospitality. We did not have to lift a finger...anything we needed or wanted was made available to us. With sat for meals in a formal dining room where pictures on the wall told stories of the past. The food presented to us by Miss Jennifer was delicious and beautifully served. The trolley to the French Quarter was only a block away, a big plus in our book..then when night came we jumped into big comfy beds to dream something amazing.. Thank you O' Malley House bed and breakfast..we will be back!

A real gem in the heart of NOLA! I randomly stumbled upon this B&B when I was searching for a hotel and fell in love with the atmosphere when I saw the pictures. But boy the experience is even better! Bren is a great host and an amazing cook and more importantly, he is available for you and helps you experience New Orleans like a local. 1896 O'Malley does not feel like a hotel or even a B&B, it's an entire experience of its own. Guests spend time to talk and interact with each other, something that you cannot get in a hotel. My wife and I loved our stay and will definitely go back again. BTW, be sure to directly call Brent to book your stay, you'll thank me later!!
