A perfect hostel, one of the best I’ve ever stayed in. Cats EVERYWHERE 😍 All types of activities offered to book through the hostel. Nightly events on the rooftop. Attentive cleaning staff providing comfortable public areas and toilets. Lots of lounging areas across the property. A decent breakfast each morning served by friendly staff. The building has so much character and charm due to its historical legacy. Comfortable beds. Plenty of lockers available ranging from big bags to electronic charging spaces. The location was perfect, close to the historic centre and only a bus ride away from the touristy areas. The only downside is the volume. It’s so loud at night due to karaoke/ live bands / DJs every night we stayed. And down to the volume of business and amount of backpackers quite loud in the morning due to lots of chatting. But I loved it regardless. Such an amazing vibe ❤️ To get to the hostel from Lima airport, get the Aerodirecto Centro bus and hop off at Plaza San Martin ( a fifteen minute walk from here )

The roof has space to make food and hang out. This location is very close to many central areas. The building does have plenty of history is really nice to learn about it and has lots of Peru culture displayed. The room was average for a hostel it is an old building but nothing to be excited for. They had a free walking tour and unfortunately the guide canceled. The towels we received in our room seemed like old hand-me down towels. The bathroom showers curtains were all over the place and hot water ran out quickly. Breakfast was average and then in the afternoon turns into lunch time and the food was below average we did not enjoy the food.

Good hostel for the price. The showers are really good with super hot water and good pressure, the common areas were being cleaned often, there is a decent breakfast (good quality bread, butter, jam, fruit, juice, coffee or tea), super friendly staff and there are some really cute hostel pets. Our private room was decent, had no windows but was spacious, had a comfortable bed, and lamps.

Cheap hostel prices and you get what you pay for. We got a private room which was big enough for two and had everything we needed. The shared bathrooms and showers were close to our room and were clean regularly through the day. The location is very central with walking distance to the main square of Lima and the cathedral or catacombs. The staff was friendly too!

I'm going to tell you about my unpleasant experience at this hostel. I was going to stay at the hostel for 2 weeks. I arrived in Lima for business reasons. What I thought would be a very good stay was nothing more than a huge disappointment. I'm going to clarify that I'm homosexual and it shows in my way of being. What happened is that the receptionist named "Alex" said provocative words to me several times when I passed by reception and they were in very bad taste because of my sexual orientation. After 2 days, tired of it, I confronted him telling him to stop harassing me and that I was going to speak to a superior, to which he responded by saying that he was the superior and he wouldn't be able to do anything. I had to leave on the 4th of my stay since I couldn't do anything about my situation. I also tried to talk to the other receptionist "Gladis" to see if we could do something about the situation I was going through, to which she told me that she couldn't do anything by turning a blind eye to the homophobic receptionist Alex. It makes me very sad that a hostel where so many people pass through People, you are at the mercy of these bad times from your staff, I hope you can improve that

Was given a private double room that looked nothing like the photos. On my last day I saw some rooms with dooors open that looked like the room I booked. The room I got was separated from outside with thin window. It was very cramped and dark and damp. Very disappointed by the room so for that reason would not recommend. Staff nice and breakfast was acceptable

So I stayed here during my time in Peru for about 2 weeks and I found the service to be exceptional and it's perfectly situated. The service from the team was great tmi here but I didn't feel well one evening as I asked if it was okay if they could get me some water and they got me a 4L bottle of water so they take care of the people that are staying very well. And the events you can go too if you book with the tour guides there are good quality for money absolutely so if you're in the area stay here not only did I feel safe but also felt welcomed nothing I asked was an issue
