Our third time here and the food is always incredible! The veggie burger is one of the best I’ve ever had and my boyfriend who is fairly critical of food is always impressed as well. The service tonight(our waiter was Noah) was wonderful, he was very attentive and personable! The patio is a lovely spot as is the inside of the restaurant. Didn’t get the key lime pie tonight but it’s one of the best in Colorado! Can’t wait to visit again 😀

We had been excited to try 1914 House for a dual birthday celebration. Made a reservation for upstairs, but were seated downstairs. Did not see a server for 15 minutes after being seated and drinks took another 20. Finally got orders completely in after 40 minutes. Baked brie and their special artichoke & calamari appetizer were both delicious. Plates were whisked away and entrees out as we were finally eating. A lot of reviews were saying the place is understaffed, but it felt like there was adequate staff, just poor pacing. Food was in general very good. I particularly enjoyed the teriyaki glazed steelhead trout. I would say the drinks are on the high-end for specialty cocktails, entrees are average.

The best steak I've eaten. The steak was prepared as it was ordered. The lash fried brussel sprouts were very flavorful with the Thai chili sauce. The atmosphere was awesome! Sat on the patio area. Just a tranquil setting in a small downtown setting. The service provided by LT was superior!

Awesome restaurant, 14oz ribeye steak cooks to professional and the trout so crisp outside and moist inside. Be sure to order the strawberry shortcake, our waiter " Michael " recommended. It taste so good. And they have 3 beautiful hosts guide you to our table. And they even brought out our desserts. I can't wait to come back to try other dishes.

Took an hour drive to meet some friends at 1914 House Restaurant in Niwot, Colorado. It turned out to be a great choice for a pleasant casual dinner. The front desk staff was very friendly, and our table was ready as reserved and requested. Table service was a bit slow-paced, but this allowed us to have nice long conversations with our friends and was never rushed through the entire dining experience. The menu has a variety of choices, but limited in the variations of the entrees, however this was fine in this day of eating out, which allowed the restaurant to prepare each dish very well. Starting with two appetizers and salad to share, followed by entrees of the House-made Fettucine and Wasabi Ribeye. The Panzanella salad was fresh and nicely dressed, but the appetizers of Spinach & Artichoke Dip and the Flash Fried Brussel Sprouts (mildly spicy) were excellent, highly recommended. Both entrees were delicious, with the ribeye having a nice wasabi spice to the grilled steak, and the pasta a rich buttery texture and flavor. Sadly, too much food and had to pass on dessert. Overall, the food was excellent, and a nice place for a casual paced dinner in a restaurant that allowed normal conversations tones. Although the drive was a bit north of Denver, it was a restaurant that we would return to for another visit. Tips for your visit: This restaurant is in the small town of Niwot, make reservations. Also has a large outdoor patio if you desire to sit outside.

Really enjoyed the menu here, no complaints across the table. The old world wine by-the-glass wasn't the best, but drinks were great and they have a nice selection.

I took my wife (and our kids) here for her birthday recently and everything was excellent. Her cocktail was great and I enjoyed my local Niwot beer. I typically take photos of the food for my reviews but wanted to be present since it was a birthday celebrating my wife so sorry I don't have photos but rest assured the food looked as great as it tasted (presentation was on point) We ordered a few appetizers. Oysters on the half shell, baked artichoke, and baked brie. The Oysters tasted fresh and came with delicious sauces (cocktail, and I believe an herbed sherry vinaigrette that was excellent. I asked for hot sauce and was loving the sherry vinaigrette with a dab of hot sauce). We didn't love the baked artichoke but I'm not going to take points away, as it was probably perfect, we were just trying it for the first time and didn't really like that preparation, being used to steamed artichokes. My hearts of romaine salad was delicious and we shared a french onion soup, which was also excellent. For dinner we had Chicken Piccata, Crispy Skin Branzino, Fried Chicken, and a dinner Caesar Salad with steak. I won't go into details, except that the Branzino was out of this world, with a super crispy skin that belied the perfectly cook (moist) fish underneath. Everybody else also loved their dinners. I was surprised at how complex and delicious a "basic" meal like Chicken Piccata could taste. There were a few Crème brûlées ordered and it was perfect. Again, sorry for the lack of photos (next time), but we were seriously impressed with this place. And I love, love, love that the kitchen is behind glass and open to see. It speaks to their confidence in the cleanliness and professionalism with which they operate.

Tried this place out for the first time today. Was super bummed when they removed the surf and turf (website needs to be updated)...but they definitely made up for it with the wasabi ribeye. It was soooooo juicy and full of flavor. Service was excellent. Nice atmosphere for date night. I hope they bring back the surf and turf! ;)
