1915 Beach Club

This was my husband and my 1st trip to the Daytona speedway. I was extremely excited when I seen this place was very reasonable and they didn’t over charge for the event. The bed was surprisingly comfortable and sheets smelled really nice like you did your own sheets at home. I would like to mention I was in full communication with owner and whom ever it was very thorough and responding right back. I would like to say I wish I got to spend more time on our short vacation. I want to thank the owner personally for taking the time to respond back so quickly . I would definitely come back to this location in the future

This is our first night staying. Room was not stocked that great. We had to leave to grab ourselves paper towels and dish soap. (Hand soap was there but not great to wash dishes) I did kill a roach but it is what it is. The water pressure in the shower was very low so it took longer to even wash my hair due to the water not coming out well. Check in was easy. Love that the beach is within walking distance. One grill for people to share, pics made it seem like there was more than one grill. (Small grill that wasn’t cleaned after last used) It was easy to access the room. Staying one more night. Will see how it goes.

Worst experience ever. We found a roach in the bed. The walls and shower were dirty. Towels were bleached and dirty. Shower leaked the whole time. The water was barely hot. It rained and the whole room flooded, we had to use all the towels to cover the door. It only rained for about 25 minutes and the front door rug and 3 towels were soaked. The front door also doesn’t seal so the wind from the beachside was blowing all night making a horrible whistling noise. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!

Older but loved our room. Ours was 2 bedrooms. Our bed was super comfortable and soft like at home. If we needed anything, we called and it is taken care of asap Great place to stay and non-smoking Loved it On the strip but not on the ocean but easily walked across the street. Loved it It has refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker big tv and king size bed. Other bedroom had a queen. Ask for room #1

For the price I paid this room was great. I couldn't have found a more affordable stay. It was comfortable and clean. Small issues was water pressure for shower was just ok.. takes a few extra minutes for the water to get hot. Could have been worse though. Also I had to use the hotspot off my phone for my TV bc I couldn't figure out how to connect the TV to the wifi. But all in all I would return to this hotel time and time again bc its so affordable. Hope this helps if you're looking to stay here.

1915 Beach Club is a cute renovated vintage motel with cleanliness and security issues. I stayed for 2 nights this week. My room , which was #8, was adorable but had multiple cleanliness & maintenance issues, plus a major security issue: There are no staff members on site. Checkin is virtual. The building is directly on A1A across from the beach which is great for beach access, but anyone could park here or lurk here. The grounds are very dark. There is no chain or swing lock on the inside of the door so a guest can't secure the door & has to hope nobody else has the key code. The major issue with my room was dirty linens. I noted a strong unpleasant smell but initially didn't realize it was coming from the beds. I laid out some clean clothes I planned to wear on the spare bed overnight, and in the morning discovered the smell had transferred to my clothing. The linens looked clean but were not. Both beds were improperly made up with the sheet on top of the comforter instead of underneath, so your body is touching the same comforter that a dozen other vacationer's bodies have touched. We know hoteliers don't wash their linens after every stay, right? I'm guessing the smell was mildew (which in my own experience, you can never get the smell out and the linens must be discarded), but it's hard to describe how awful the smell was. The towels were plentiful but stained and gray (originally white). The refrigerator and freezer were great to have in my room, but the freezer didn't keep food frozen and the temperature dial had been removed so it could not be adjusted. The air conditioner only worked when it was set on automatic. The room was hot when I entered so I set the a/c on "Cool" and 68 degrees and nothing happened. I'm glad I figured out quickly that it only worked on the Auto setting. The hand-held sprayer in the shower didn't work. Again, the location and recently-renovated rooms are a great plus. More attention to cleanliness, maintenance, & security is needed. Remember, anybody can review a hotel on Google- you don't have to stay there to write a review. Booking dot com reviews are verified and much more accurate imo than Google reviews.

Who ever left a bad review, must have been in their feelings that day because this hotel is CLEAN and AMAZING! We are currently staying here and to be honest this is the greatest hotel I’ve been to in a long time. You get your privacy and the room was beyond wonderful! Clean linen and sheets! I wish I would’ve found this place sooner because staying down at the quality inn last night down the street was just UGH! This little room is to die for! Will definitely be back! The area is perfect! With access to the beach.

This nice little spot was so perfectly clean and decorated adorable. I was on a bicycle and the Customer Service made it easy to get right into my room, avoiding Hurricane Debbie. I am forever grateful to the staff who saved my life and it is such a beautiful, quiet little spot to stay at.
