The hotel is definitely value for money. Room was a decent size, had plenty of storage, large bed which was on the firmer side but good quality linen. Lovely big windows with great blackout curtains. Bathroom was a good size and the toiletries provided are nice. This room had a bath with a shower over, I'd have preferred a shower only but it was fine and worked well, I suppose it's good for a hotel to have options for all. Has a small basic mini bar but no coffee facilities which really should be a basic offer in this type of room. The room was a bit tired and maybe could do with some updating but for the price it is a good value option. Service at the front desk was pleasant, friendly and efficient. I personally liked the interior décor of the hotel. Breakfast buffet selection was basic but ok. There is a limited selection compared to other hotels I've stayed at but the quality and freshness was fine and I didn't go without. Only criticism of the breakfast is that the cutlery and crockery wasn't clean enough, I had to sort through the bowls and spoons to find what I felt was clean. Location is very good and well connected with lots of places to eat, drink and shop close by. I booked directly with the hotel as it offered the best value. It's good value for money for Paris!

Location was wonderful for our purpose. It was very quiet. Staff was friendly. We did not use the restaurants and did not take advantage of the free cava (we do not drink). Room was nice (we were upgraded to a very spacious room). Hair dryer was a little weak. Set up of the room was good for us, but could be treacherous with the bed at a different level than rest of the room. The set up with the sinks in a different room than toilet was a little odd, but it worked. The room was very well cleaned and maintained. Overall, after finding the hotel corridors a little dimly lit, we got used to it. The hotel had been recommended by friends of ours, and we shall consider staying again if/when we come back to Paris.

We had a wonderful stay at 1K Paris. The hotel is in a super convenient location in the 3rd arrondissement, close to several metro lines and surrounded by great restaurants and bakeries. We stayed in the Superior Double Room, which was spacious, clean, and tidy. The windows opened wide to let in fresh air, and the room also had functioning AC, which was great. While the shower water pressure could have been stronger and the mini bar fridge wasn’t cold, these were only minor issues in an otherwise very comfortable stay. The service really stood out, the reception staff were all very friendly and spoke perfect English. They helped us store butter in the kitchen fridge and quickly resolving an issue when our room’s card reader stopped working by giving us a physical key.

As this was our first trip to Paris we were unsure where to stay and found choosing a hotel that suited our needs quite difficult. 1K Hotel was absolutely perfect for us. After a direct 17 hour flight from Perth, Australia we were pleasantly greeted by Alexandra at reception who was incredibly welcoming , friendly, helpful and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. We could not check in till later that day, but when we did we were so happy with our room. It was large, clean, bright and there was a complimentary bottle of bubbles to welcome us! There is a lift and stairs for access to all floors. The area is close walking distance to lots of shops, patisserie’s, cafes and popular attractions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at IK and highly recommend this hotel. I would also like to thank Alexandra for her help and beautiful hospitality, she is an absolute asset to your team.

A/C did not work and workers knew this, it was at 25% power and there were mold by the A/C vent. While it was on (at the 25% power), my partner and I both developed cold-like symptoms while the room was ~26C. We asked for a different room after the first night, but the only option they gave was to pay an extra 100 euro per night to get a room with a working A/C in the newer building (this "hotel" is split into 2). End result? They gave us a standing fan so we used it as an exhaust fan to blow the mold, humidity and a bit of heat out the window. If your hotel guests are complaining about heat and breathing issues due to mold during the summer and you know the AC is broken, how dare you charge 100euro per night for basic needs? The location is kinda sketchy and is very loud at night and at early mornings. With the AC not working/with mold and windows opened for the fan, it was a bad stay. Not central, yes you're right on top of a train station that's not part of the main line. We essentially had to force ourselves to be outside as much as possible. Note to self: Next time just spend the extra money, you get what you pay for.

Great location just outside the overpriced tourist places. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was a bit stuffy with the August heat and humidity, but after riding around Paris on our bikes we had no trouble falling asleep. Nice firm beds!

The hotel needs to update interior badly. It is getting old. At bar was very bad smell. At reception they want deposit for 100€ for mini bar. Our room didn't even have mini bar. Floors very not so clean at all. At breakfast their were missing spoons, knives, coffee beans. There was nothing warm to eat. The angry cleaning lady was cleaning at the same time when people tried to enjoy breakfast. Totally not 4 star hotel at all. And not worth to pay over 300€ for one night.

AVOID! By far the worst hotel experience I have ever had, don't let the 4 star rating fool you, this is a poorly maintained and run down hotel. Air conditioning did not work (booked a 'decent' hotel because of 30+ degrees forecast), only to be left sweating through the night. The hotel's initial insulting response to this issue was to deliver a pedestal fan to my room. A few other points; The rooms and common areas are run down and require refurbishment. The light switches in my room did not work and one of the wardrobe lights was constantly flickering. The fitness room smells like mould. Towels were collected but not replaced on one of the days of my stay.

Yelp
I'm staying at the 1K Paris Hotel this week. Prior to booking I did a fair amount of research on what others have said about this property. Rarely am I totally pleased when I book a hotel. However, in this instance I have zero doubt I booked the best property for my needs. Let me be specific about what went right. 1. Check-in experience. I was checked in by a cheerful, upbeat and most kind individual. Absolutely flawless check-in experience. 2. I got an inexpensive room. Despite this I have plenty of space. Lots of closet space, hangers, drawers and room for my toiletries in the bathroom. 3. Bed is very comfortable. 4. Bathroom is wonderful. Large heated towel rack, oversized bathrobe and big towels. Lovely bath amenities. 5. Quiet room. 6. Comfortable temperature. 7. Fridge with interesting mini-bar options. 8. Easy to use safe. 9. Cool lighting. 10. Amazing location. Access to Le Marais, Franprix market across street, Metro on the corner. Does not get much better. I could get critical and make a few suggestions to improve this place. They could better position the shower head. Had to be careful I did not spray the floor at times. But I could easily deal with it as it is. A couple of minor lightbulbs were burnt out - no big deal. Understand I am not paying 300 Euros a night. I'm paying less than 150 Euros each night with the deal I snagged through hotel2nite.com. For what I am paying it would be impossible to do better. I will definitely be returning to this fun hotel.

Yelp
1 k - A very classy exotism in Paris From the outside, right within Le marais, one of my favourite districts, the very blue frontage is quite intriguing. Nothing like all the other facades all around and does quite stand out. When inside, the very deep blue is still part of the style. But with strong color accent and a very chic Peruvian style. Gold highlights, Peruvian masks and other Incas-inspired décor ornements the lobby and main floor. It's a very cool and original look that I truly enjoyed. The rooms are simplier in style. Pure white walls and sheets are contrasting with an amazing black marble shower that will now remain as my shower goal in my life. If you need more than from your visit, you can always get the suites on the top floor with private pools. One detail worth noticing is the Inka Kola option in the mini bar. It brought me right back to my trip in Peru, already 10 years ago. On the innovative side, the rooms are fully equipped with some fun and useful gadgets. You can choose the smell of the room or the color of the lights for example. Better yet, you have access to a real smart phone. You get free international calls, texts and mobile data to bring with you on your excursion. Such a great option for tourists. In addition, to complete the immersion, the hotel has its very own restaurant named the Inka where a young chef, Julien Burbaud, will take control of the restaurant to concoct an Andean cuisine. They also have two very cool bar, one dedicated to the famous Peruvian pisco sour, and the Mezcaleria that is a hidden bar, where you can drink Mezcal mixed in modern and inventive cocktails. You must keep it a secret, but there's a secret within the secret.

Yelp
When researching hotels in Paris, 1K hotel had many positive reviews and pretty pictures on the internet. This turned out to be quite deceiving. When we arrived, we noticed a very strong smell in the lobby which was present each time we entered or exited the hotel - it was similar to incense, however not pleasant. The breakfast buffet had flies surrounding the food every day- this was probably the biggest turn off of the hotel. The room was large which was nice, however the bed sheets and towels were not soft, the shower leaked into the bathroom and our room overlooked the mezclaria bar which remained noisy until 1 or 2 in the morning each night, making it tough to fall asleep. The floor in our room was made of a black stone and our feet were constantly black when we walked barefoot in the room; it's hard to tell if that was from the stone or if it was just a dirty floor. Overall we loved Paris and our stay in the city however the hotel was not worth the cost.

Yelp
Great hotel with a Peruvian theme (just enough of a theme to not make it tacky). Great staff and rooms. My only gripe is that the AC on high didn't cut it. Other than that, great location. Slightly noisy until 1pm where we were situated because the hotel bar/resto was right outside our window.

Yelp
Incredible hotel and amazing food, service and staff. Perfect location to everything you need from bars to the metro and trendy shops. Highly recommend this unique Paris spot.
