The room was very tired and small. The noise from the street negatively impacted sleep. The weatherstripping on the window was peeling off. The sink stopper did not work. The room had no chair to relax on. The toilet in the bar smelled like raw sewage. The front desk staff were polite and helpful with taxis. It felt to me like what I perceive a hostel to be. The only positive was the bed was comfortable. Definitely not a four star hotel as claimed. Not a good value at all. We were in room 322.

If you're planning a weeklong trip to Paris with no idea where to stay, you should consider staying here, especially if Le Marais is your neighborhood of choice. It was ours because we prefer a looser vibe than the other famous areas provide. All the disenfranchised hipsters appear to hang out in these parts, e.g., the gays, so we felt at home. The hotel is on the edge of Le Marais on Boulevard du Temple, a busy thoroughfare lined with restaurants. Hidden by the adjoining tacqueria and sushi eateries, the hotel doesn't have a grand entrance or much of a lobby, but it has an earthy South American style. In fact, we passed through the open cocktail area of their Peruvian restaurant Inka to get to the small elevator that led us to our room. My husband was looking for extra space since we got used to the smaller rooms we secured in Asia. We booked the 431-square-foot Junior Double Room for $363 per night. It was ideal for an extended stay because we could completely unpack our suitcases into a huge wall of wardrobe closets. The King bed was the right size with our preferred firm mattress. There was a comfy sofa for jet lag napping. The bathroom was really spacious with two column sinks and a huge tub. One minor nit was the tub walls were too high to climb in and out with ease. Best of all though was how quiet the room was no matter the hour.

1K Paris – Great Location, Needs Some Updates Our stay at 1K Paris was okay overall. The front desk team was friendly and helpful, they offered great restaurant suggestions and clear directions for getting around. Overall, the stay was pleasant, but I’d love to see more personal touches and creativity from management, especially for guests celebrating special occasions. A bit more warmth and attention to detail could make 1K Paris truly memorable.

We stayed here for 4 nights at beginning of August. The hotel is located in the lovely area of Le Marais. Very convenient to subway, great restaurants and local places. Great to walk the district. When we arrived on August 1st the lady at reception was quite rude and was just too busy to deal with us and answer some basic inquiries. We were given a nice room but the safe was broken. After explaining the importance of having a functional safe they moved us to another room. Room was nice, clean but difficult to shower in a bathtub without the water going all over the bathroom.

The hotel is ok. The service we got from the people working there was excellent. The dark theme and edgy artwork just didn't appeal to us. Plus the air conditioning struggled to cool out room until we'll into the night. The location is awesome. We were able to walk to nearly all the places we wanted to visit but we also used g7 cabs when we were tired.

The location of 1K Paris is great , it’s convenient and close to many restaurants and attractions. However, the hotel itself feels very old and worn out. The rooms and facilities look dated, and the overall condition does not reflect a 4-star standard.👎 It could be a nice place with some renovation, but at the moment it’s disappointing for the price.

A very pleasant short one night stay based in an excellent central location. Clean, Comfortable rooms, excellent and helpful front desk customer service and good breakfast. Very likely to return.

The hotel is definitely value for money. Room was a decent size, had plenty of storage, large bed which was on the firmer side but good quality linen. Lovely big windows with great blackout curtains. Bathroom was a good size and the toiletries provided are nice. This room had a bath with a shower over, I'd have preferred a shower only but it was fine and worked well, I suppose it's good for a hotel to have options for all. Has a small basic mini bar but no coffee facilities which really should be a basic offer in this type of room. The room was a bit tired and maybe could do with some updating but for the price it is a good value option. Service at the front desk was pleasant, friendly and efficient. I personally liked the interior décor of the hotel. Breakfast buffet selection was basic but ok. There is a limited selection compared to other hotels I've stayed at but the quality and freshness was fine and I didn't go without. Only criticism of the breakfast is that the cutlery and crockery wasn't clean enough, I had to sort through the bowls and spoons to find what I felt was clean. Location is very good and well connected with lots of places to eat, drink and shop close by. I booked directly with the hotel as it offered the best value. It's good value for money for Paris!

Yelp
I'm staying at the 1K Paris Hotel this week. Prior to booking I did a fair amount of research on what others have said about this property. Rarely am I totally pleased when I book a hotel. However, in this instance I have zero doubt I booked the best property for my needs. Let me be specific about what went right. 1. Check-in experience. I was checked in by a cheerful, upbeat and most kind individual. Absolutely flawless check-in experience. 2. I got an inexpensive room. Despite this I have plenty of space. Lots of closet space, hangers, drawers and room for my toiletries in the bathroom. 3. Bed is very comfortable. 4. Bathroom is wonderful. Large heated towel rack, oversized bathrobe and big towels. Lovely bath amenities. 5. Quiet room. 6. Comfortable temperature. 7. Fridge with interesting mini-bar options. 8. Easy to use safe. 9. Cool lighting. 10. Amazing location. Access to Le Marais, Franprix market across street, Metro on the corner. Does not get much better. I could get critical and make a few suggestions to improve this place. They could better position the shower head. Had to be careful I did not spray the floor at times. But I could easily deal with it as it is. A couple of minor lightbulbs were burnt out - no big deal. Understand I am not paying 300 Euros a night. I'm paying less than 150 Euros each night with the deal I snagged through hotel2nite.com. For what I am paying it would be impossible to do better. I will definitely be returning to this fun hotel.

Yelp
1 k - A very classy exotism in Paris From the outside, right within Le marais, one of my favourite districts, the very blue frontage is quite intriguing. Nothing like all the other facades all around and does quite stand out. When inside, the very deep blue is still part of the style. But with strong color accent and a very chic Peruvian style. Gold highlights, Peruvian masks and other Incas-inspired décor ornements the lobby and main floor. It's a very cool and original look that I truly enjoyed. The rooms are simplier in style. Pure white walls and sheets are contrasting with an amazing black marble shower that will now remain as my shower goal in my life. If you need more than from your visit, you can always get the suites on the top floor with private pools. One detail worth noticing is the Inka Kola option in the mini bar. It brought me right back to my trip in Peru, already 10 years ago. On the innovative side, the rooms are fully equipped with some fun and useful gadgets. You can choose the smell of the room or the color of the lights for example. Better yet, you have access to a real smart phone. You get free international calls, texts and mobile data to bring with you on your excursion. Such a great option for tourists. In addition, to complete the immersion, the hotel has its very own restaurant named the Inka where a young chef, Julien Burbaud, will take control of the restaurant to concoct an Andean cuisine. They also have two very cool bar, one dedicated to the famous Peruvian pisco sour, and the Mezcaleria that is a hidden bar, where you can drink Mezcal mixed in modern and inventive cocktails. You must keep it a secret, but there's a secret within the secret.

Yelp
When researching hotels in Paris, 1K hotel had many positive reviews and pretty pictures on the internet. This turned out to be quite deceiving. When we arrived, we noticed a very strong smell in the lobby which was present each time we entered or exited the hotel - it was similar to incense, however not pleasant. The breakfast buffet had flies surrounding the food every day- this was probably the biggest turn off of the hotel. The room was large which was nice, however the bed sheets and towels were not soft, the shower leaked into the bathroom and our room overlooked the mezclaria bar which remained noisy until 1 or 2 in the morning each night, making it tough to fall asleep. The floor in our room was made of a black stone and our feet were constantly black when we walked barefoot in the room; it's hard to tell if that was from the stone or if it was just a dirty floor. Overall we loved Paris and our stay in the city however the hotel was not worth the cost.

Yelp
Great hotel with a Peruvian theme (just enough of a theme to not make it tacky). Great staff and rooms. My only gripe is that the AC on high didn't cut it. Other than that, great location. Slightly noisy until 1pm where we were situated because the hotel bar/resto was right outside our window.

Yelp
Incredible hotel and amazing food, service and staff. Perfect location to everything you need from bars to the metro and trendy shops. Highly recommend this unique Paris spot.
