POSITIVES:|1) Hospitality: The hospitality we received here was second to none. I won’t put too much detail in this review as I don’t want to spoil the surprise but at every opportunity the hotel made effort to surprise us with brilliant tokens and service and effort. We were blown away and havent experienced hospitality like that in India and possibly even the world. It was so genuine and warm and personable, and in no way were they trying to upsell us or do it for money. The irony was that we probably tipped more than we ever had because we didn’t feel pressured to do so and the team were so genuine.||2) Interior: Everything about hotel is very high quality… from the design of the rooms to the bathrobes and slippers in the rooms, the fully stocked and free minibar and the very comfortable bed and bedsheets. We were in heaven. ||3) Rooftop restaurant: Great design and ambience, lovely views of the fort, and by the way: all tea and coffee in the restaurant is free of charge for hotel guests. ||4) Food: Breakfast is a great buffet full of options plus freshly cooked items too, and again, the service was brilliant. The rooftop restaurant served Italian food(!) which was a nice change and very good, and I still think of the chocolate mousse desert a few times a week, it was so good. I think I would fly back there to have it again! ||5) Location: A super location right next to the fort, couldn’t be better placed! |||NEGATIVE (and there’s only one):|1) Hot water: You need to run the shower for 10 minutes to get hot water. Once it’s hot it’s lovely and doesn’t run out but in a desert environment this feels an awful waste of water. ||OVERALL: This was the highest price per night we paid for a hotel in india but it was worth every penny. Thank you so much to Pedro and the team for taking such amazing care of us.
