2 Mazi Restaurant

First off, I will have to be strict as the price range of this restaurant demands for excellence. There were very few people when we visited while all other places in the area were full. We didn’t mind that as we had a great service and relaxed away from the crowds. We ordered a few dishes and even though some were exceptional (others were just ok), they all lacked the wow factor of a 30-40€ dish. The inside area is not to my taste, the pink and purple hues mostly.

A beautiful restaurant in the center of Athens. The atmosphere is so beautiful. Food options are so well thought and very impressed with all the flavors. This is such a nice spot for fine dining. Highly recommended.

Wonderful restaurant, great food and really nice atmosphere! We took the 8 course menu with the complimentary wines and it was amazing. The staff are cool too and very funny.

The 2 Mazi has, of course, great food. But that is twice as good when eaten it the atmospheric garden and explained - in detail and with great homour - by the friendly and competent staff. This is a place for upscale yet laid back and relaxed eating. Bring a bit of time, you may need it. Warmly recommended.

We visited here during our Athens vacation with great expectations from the recent Google reviews. The 4 of us were hoping for something special on our last night in town. The wait staff was great. The restaurant was empty upon arrival at 7 PM. The bread served and drinks were spot on. However, the food was a total "swing and a miss" for all 4 of us. Not one of our meals were tasty. The sauces were not done right. Portions are very small. Prices were too high for the quality of food served. We had much better meals in restaurants charging 1/2 what 2 Mazi charges. I'm not sure what happened in the kitchen that night, but the food was not at the high standard that we expected given the prior reviews. We left quite unimpressed.

Waiter was polite, friendly and knowledgeable. Food was superb, we had the 6 plate taster menu. I am a picky eater and didn’t struggle to eat anything. Everything was of the highest quality. The waiter even helped me find a bottle of bubbly I liked having never been a wine drinker in any sense (too bitter) Would highly recommend if you’re staying in Athens

Best food in Athens! Honestly the Spinach with halloumi cheese was the best I’ve ever had. The dessert was amazing!! Highly recommended!

The menu was interesting but the execution of the dishes quite disappointing especially for the price mark. Not a single dish we tried (spinach salad, squid, risotto, cacio e pepe, fragokota, poached pear dessert) was particularly good. The bread was really bad, at least one day old. The service was friendly and welcoming but without attention to details such as refilling our water. The outdoors seating space was great.
